Lasha smiled as he moved closer to her.  "Well, at least that's better than not going anywhere." She said, her eyes sparkling and her wings fluttering slightly.  She moved to lick one of her paws, purring slightly.

Keltor, who had been going for a kiss, twitched slightly when Lasha turned away to lick her paw. Coughing, he pulled back as if he hadn't been closing in at all and hurriedly said "Yeah, uh, it'd suck if I wasn't allowed to leave the pen and stuff, huh."

Lasha turned to Keltor, noticing his cough and his slightly dejected voice.  "I'm sorry, were you going to ask something?  I just noticed some sand on my paw that was annoying me." She said, blushing.

"Uh, um, no, not at all, huh...I don't really have anything to ask you or anything, huh." Keltor said hastily, waving his paws. "Nothing to ask at all, huh. Nothing nothing nothing nothing, huh." Keltor was an awful liar.

Lasha chuckled.  "Suuure it's nothing, Keltor.  You forget, I've lived with a Lucain who denied that she was going to lifemate with anyone before her list cleared, and yet she did.  Oh, she did; and with the Lucain all of us at home suspected her to." She said, smiling and leaning closer to him.  Take that and try to argue it, she thought.

"It is nothin', huh." mumbled Keltor, looking up at the sky and whistling innocently. Well, trying to whistle anyway. "What do you think it was, huh?" he asked, looking back at her and smirking. Gotcha now, huh. he thought smugly.

Lasha smirked.  "I'm guessing you were after, like, a kiss or something." She said, her wings fluttering and her tails brushing over Keltor's fur.  If she was wrong, oh well; but she had a feeling she was right.

Keltor's blush answered her question far more sincerely than his evasive answer. "Er, what would make you think somethin' silly that like, huh?" he mumbled, glancing away from Lasha and coughing slightly. As previously stated- Keltor was a bad liar.

"I live with four Kuhnas that are lifemates: Yeesha and Aitrus being one pair; Lurker and Maeve being the other, and they're always all lovey-dovey and kissing each other and stuff, and..." She sighed.  "Dad would kill me if I said this, but... I really wouldn't mind a kiss." She said, her eyes shimmering with tears that would spill forth should he deny that to her.

"Uh, well, um, huh..." said Keltor, staring back into Lasha's eyes. After a short pause, a smile crossed his face again, the impish glint in his eyes returning. "Your wish is my command, huh." he said, leaning in closer to Lasha as he stared deep into her crimson eyes.

Lasha's heart fluttered as she looked into his mismatched eyes, a smile playing onto her maw as she moved in a little closer, her eyes shining.  For a moment, everything seemed right to her... For a moment, she forgot that she'd been kidnapped.  She forgot that Fire had wanted them all home for Adonia's arrival with the kits.  She forgot that Tali had taken a lifemate.  She just thought about her and Keltor.

Keltor slowly pressed his mouth against hers, not having any experience with kissing but determined to be a fast learned, the beach fading from his vision as his eyes focused completely onto Lasha's, blue and purple staring deep into red. There was something magical about it, that caught Keltor up a whirlwind of emotion.

Lasha's eyes slowly closed as she allowed herself to be lost in a whirlwind of emotions.  She couldn't imagine not being with him now--the two had grown rather close in such a short time.  Her mind slowly wandered off to Lurker and Maeve, Yeesha and Aitrus, Erica and Tom, Arya and Svenn, her grandparents and her parents, Tasera and Xryen, Tali and Sethor... She smiled slightly, a purr coming from her chest.

As Lasha's eyes fluttered shut, Keltor closed as well, losing himself in Lasha as he moved closer to her, pressing himself into her as his paw came to rest on her cheek. He'd never kissed a girl before, but he had a feeling this wasn't just a normal kiss. He felt a connection with Lasha, a similarity between them in spirit as well as attitude. When he felt the purr through her vibrating chest, he started to purr as well.
