"So... You're here often right?" Zhoril spoke slowly, forcing himself up yet again. "Would you like to take a walk around here?" He wanted to stay awake so that he could spend time with this new found wonder of a kuhna, but if he stayed in one place right now he was likely to just pass out right there.

"Yes... I come out here very often." Lani said, her voice drifting off into thought.  "And I would not mind a walk around here.  I've heard from a couple of my Kuhna friends that this is one interesting place to explore." She said.  Of course, she'd probably never go to Tengel, on account of what happened to one of the Kuhnas from Fire's Arena when she and another Kuhna wandered into an abandoned temple.

Zhoril took a small step forward, making sure that he could walk without falling over. "So.. would you care to take a walk around?" he asked, a small smile spreading across his maw. This way he'd be able to get to see the place better and he'd be able to spend more time with her.

Lani shook her head.  "I would not mind at all." She said, taking a few steps forward.  A smile began to grace her own maw as she recalled what Erica, Fire's first Kuhna, had said about this place...

"This place is... 'magical', for lack of a better term.  Sometimes, you can meet others here that... never leave your side.  Thus was the case with me." She'd said.  Lani's tails were held high as she took another step forward before turning around to face Zhoril and wait for him to catch up.

Zhoril didn't allow himself to get too far behind the female Preluhna, forcing himself forward at a rate a bit faster then he probably should have. Still, he didn't want to make her keep waiting on him. As he walked, the Trikuhna's eyes roamed around, taking in the details of the temple. "This really is a relaxing place... Even though we aren't the only ones here I could easily believe we were with how quiet most of the others are."

He hadn't been to a place like this in forever.. Everywhere he went lately seemed to be filled with the chaos of pets running about like crazy. Even Jawan had been taken over by some lunatic lucain for a while... "I can see why you like to come here often, Lady Lani."

Lani nodded.  "This is one of the most peaceful places I know, aside from the Roraldi Forests.  Every other place is either too full of people searching for wild critters or too hectic." She said.  That was true; not to mention there were certain places, such as The Slums, where she'd never dare venture.  "I could easily believe we were the only ones here as well... it's so quiet and serene..." A slight purr came from the Preluhna as she slowed her pace, not wanting to push the Trikuhna when he was tired enough as it was.

He was happy and yet sad at the same time when Lani slowed down for him. Happy because he didn't press himself to his limits, and yet sad because of the fact that if he weren't so darn worn out he'd be able to keep up with her a whole lot easier. "I... really enjoy being here with you." the male Trikuhna barely managed to make himself say. His thick black fur hide a blush that crept across his face. "I think part of what brings me peace is being near you..."

Lani blinked as she felt a blush creep into her own face.  Of course, her white pelt would not hide that blush, so all she could do was say, "I enjoy your company as well.  I find that I feel more... complete around you.  I feel as though what was missing before has been found." She barely managed to get the last sentence out, though she knew it was the truth.  As she walked on, she noticed that they were nearing a stone archway.  What could possibly lay beyond that passage?

His tails flicked back and forth, walking stride for stride with her. "I'm glad we feel the same." he spoke softly, smiling. It was possible that he had finally found what he had been looking for all along. Love? It would seem so... Or at least a friendship for now. Still, he felt a strong connection to this female Preluhna.

Lani smiled and nodded.  "As am I." She said, looking to the stone archway.  "What do you think could lie beyond yonder archway?  I've never ventured this far into the temple before..." She said, her tails waving about slightly as she fluffed her wings.  She thought for a moment about her little Alana back home, but soon shook that thought from her mind.  "Do you think we should explore?" She asked.

"Well surely there's nothing dangerous within such a peaceful temple.. So I see no harm in venturing onward." He wanted there to be no possibility of Lani getting hurt. Still, if something did come up he'd be sure to protect her. Zhoril slowly padded forward into the passage before them.

Lani smiled, then said, "Well then, onward we go." She took a nimble step forward, and then two.  Something seemed to be calling to her from within there, but she didn't know what yet.  She just knew that, as long as she knew that Alana was safe and she was with Zhoril, she was going to be okay.

His words may have said one thing, but there was now a great feeling of unease burning within his heart. Whereas she felt as though something was calling to her, the male Trikuhna had a feeling that there truely might be darkness within this peaceful temple. He tried not to let this show, continuing onward with his steps just a tad infront of hers incase something were to lash out.

With every footstep Lanikai took, something seemed to be pulling her within the temple, as if it were inviting her to look into its secrets more.  But then, there was the slightly bad feeling that had entered her heart that something was truly wrong and that she should not go onward.  However, the curiosity overpowered her and she moved onward still, seeming to not heed the dangers that could be there.

There were now surrounded by darkness. The only light came from a few candles that spread across the walls. Many had burned out or just didn't have a candle in the holder. It was a good thing that felines could see better then many other creature in the dark. Zhoril moved over a bit closer to Lani, his eyes darting about.
