((Please don't be intimidated by the length of my introduction. I won't be writing every post so long ))
Iris, Aphrodite, Artemis
Walking through the halls of the Nu'san temple, a cloaked figure seemed to be trying to escape the attention of the temple monks, with little success. Perhaps if she wasn't wearing a white cloak with a shimmering blue and green greek pattern, she wouldn't be having so much difficulty. After a few twists and turns, the girl breathed a sigh of relief as she entered a hidden section of the temple. This part of the temple was built into a cliff and only the monks seemed to know it existed. Even then, it was so out of the way from the common areas, nobody really bothered to go back here.
Entering a room, the girl glanced around before pulling her hood down. Doing so revealed perfect blonde locks that cascaded down to the girl's waist as well as a face that could only be described as beautiful. With a sigh of exhaustion, the girl rubbed her eyes and plopped down into a chair. As she leaned back into the light shining from the wrap-around windows, her blue eyes shifted into a pink hue.
"You're late, Aphrodite," came a woman's voice, echoing across the room. Muttering something under her breath, Aphrodite lifted her head to look at the speaker, a young girl who appeared to be no more than 8 years old. Her red hair was cut to shoulder length, but her dominant feature was her large purple eyes, which sometimes appeared to glow. Dressed in rainbow robes, the girl crossed her arms and gave Aphrodite a look that one would not expect to see on the face of a child. For that matter, one wouldn't expect to hear such an adult voice to come from a child either.
"Oh, come on, Iris. Do you have any idea how hard it is not to get swarmed by men everywhere you go?"
"Oh yes, it is just so difficult, or so you keep saying," replied a cool voice, laced with sarcasm. Turning, Aphrodite glared at another girl who walked in through one of the sliding glass doors from outside.
"Well excuse me, miss I-hate-all-men, but we can't all have things as easy as you." The girl ignored the sarcasm and set a silver bow down onto the table.
"Perhaps you would not have such issues if you attended more training sessions," she replied smoothly as she reached for her hair, swiftly pulling it back out of her silver eyes. As she twisted it into a braid, Aphrodite thought to herself about how jealous she was of Artemis' hair; blonde like her own, but so pale that at first glace, it appeared to be white. This wasn't what made the girl so jealous but rather, the fact that whenever Artemis stood out in the moonlight (and occasionally in the sun), the strands of hair appeared to light up, making it look like her hair was glowing. Right now there was no sign of this glow, but Aphrodite couldn't help but think of it anyway. Finished, Artemis picked her bow back up and stared coolly at her companion.
"Are you ready to start?"
