Sleep never came easy. Why was that? It didn't seem to matter if he were at home in a comfortable bed, or some place that was so quite that you could hear even a feather fall, such as this place. He looked down at his hand, suddenly clenching his and growling. There was a soft tearing and he realized that he and cut into his palm with his nails. Blah. Who cared. He watched the blood trickle out of the cuts for a moment and then stood up.

He had the appearance of a young male, most likely in his early twenties. His vibrant green hair which came down to his knees was pulled back into a ponytail. On his left side of his face his bangs were long and fell down over his eye in a spiky pattern. The bangs on his right side were much shorter and fell more toward the left as well. The tips of his bangs and the rest of his hair were as black as could be. His eyes... They betrayed all of his harsh looks. They were a soft baby blue that seemed to want to sooth the soul..

The tanned male began wandering the halls of the temple. It was too quiet... Too peaceful. He needed to find something to catch his attention. If he could not sleep then he would find something else to do with his time. Only thing was... he had quite the hard time finding something to meet his odd tastes.

Human Form

The knife slid along his skin as easily as it would have through a mortal's. But he was not mortal. Nor was he any sort of creature of the night. He was a god. A celestial being. Someone not of this plane. Someone whose burden was heavy, and whose shoulders were weak. He was the youngest of the Juridian gods. Arrimarris - thirteen by appearance - was actually quite a bit older than him. So he remained the youngest god. The sickest. And the weakest. Along with that, anything he tried to help with had the tendency to.. well... fall into Chaos. That's why he sliced his arm open, again and again. He didn't know if a god could bleed to death. He'd never left the wound open that long. But right now, he was weak - power wise - and couldn't heal himself. So he watched the blood run down his arm, and drip onto the floor. The dizziness he felt now was a welcome numbness from his current state of mind. Yet again, he'd ruined someone's life. He'd started THAT chain a long, long time ago, when he'd felt sorry for a pair of brothers who wanted to be lovers. And threw motions into action that would draw them together. Which resulted in Damia getting angry, and casting the curse on the family that bore his name. What a reputation. Not that they knew he was responsible. They still blamed Damia. Though they didn't know that was her name. They just knew her as 'that goddess'. Which was fine with her. And fine with Arrikanez himself. But he'd done it again. He'd driven unborn children insane with the knowledge of the future, in a different world at that. He was so tired of screwing up... so tired in general, actually.
He LOOKED ill. Right now, he was in his redhead form, and there were dark shadows under his eyes from lack of sleep. There were also a lot of scars up and down his arms - but they would heal completely in time. Closing his eyes, he contemplated on the scars, and slowly lost consciousness, having completely forgotten he'd opened the vein in his arm. Drip. Drip. Drip. The blood was flowing steadily now. Not clotting because he wasn't forcing it to. He'd had blood problems when he was a mortal. They tended to not go away. But when he focused, he could stop them. He wasn't focusing. And so the pool of blood beneath Lady Sa continued to grow, Arrikanez too out of it, and too weak to do a thing.

He lifted his hand to his lips, running his tongue over the blood that hand trickled down it. The tapping of his boots against the ground ceased as he came to a complete stop, closing his eyes as he took in quite the scent. That devilish grin of his spread over his face. Blood... He could smell it, and it appeared as though there was quite a good bit of it. Maybe this place wasn't so boring after all.

His boots began beating against the stone floor once again, the rattling of a few chains that were strapped about his black pants with green threads ringing through the air. His shirt, just fishnetting the same color as the threads of his shirt, showed of his tanned skin. He wasn't buff or anything with huge muscles, but he was at least in shape. His skin was smooth, much like the caramel that it looked like.

He stood at the base of the statue, watching the blood that was slowly sliding down it. So this was where it was coming from. He jumped onto the tail of the dragon statue and followed it upward, until his eyes landed upon the creature before him. Was it dead? No... he could still see his chest moving, showing that he was breathing. Why did he have a cut on his arm though?

Kiresilo bent down next to him and ran his already bloodied hand over the gash on the other's arm. Blood... So much of it... Right now the day had seemed to turn out perfect. But still... he couldn't allow this creature to bleed out to his death. Then he wouldn't be able to see the crimson color of his blood again. He pulled a sash that had been wrapped about his waist as sort of a belt and began to wrap Arrikanez's arm up in it. Once he was done with that he tied it off and let a claw gently run down the other's cheek, traveling down his neck. He wanted to see if he could wake up yet.

Opening his eyes at the touch, the exerted a small area of magic, and sealed his own wound, shivering. He was down to the very dregs of his energy, and his eyes wouldn't stay open all the way. He looked so tired... so sick... Nothing about him was god-like at the moment. He just looked like a run-down, tired, depressed, sick teenager who'd just finished cutting. At least the depressed part was right. So was the sick. And the run-down. God or not, nine consecutive days without sleep, constant uses of his life energy, constant depression... it was bound to wear anyone to the bone. His eyes managed to focus on the one that woke him, however weak he may have been. He couldn't even talk. Things... weren't looking good for this... child. And yes, he was really a child. A god, of course, but a literal teenager. And one in SORE need of attention. The cuts in his arms weren't a plea for it - but he needed it regardless. Both medical attention, and affection of any sort.

"Shouldn't do things like this to yourself, kiddo." he spoke, eyeing the knife that Arri had slit open his arm with. He picked it up and tossed it into the air so that it flipped around a few times, only to be caught once again. "You you want to feel pain, allow someone else to inflict it. He held the blade part delicately within his hand, pressing the hilt up against the young God's chin. "Pain allows us to know that we are alive.. but half the fun comes from someone else being the one to play with your life."

He looked down at the barely awake lucain with a fanged grin. "Wouldn't want someone so... interesting to die at such a young age." He eyed the other's body for a moment and then looked back at his face. "Looks like I'll be keeping you around for a bit even if you try to end your life." This guy seemed rather off his rocker. He was just sitting there, talking to someone that wasn't going to talk back that he didn't know and had been bleeding.

He wanted to say something, but he couldn't. Too weak. His breathing was very shallow about now, and he tried hard to keep his eyes open. In the end, he just couldn't, and they ended up closing. His skin was cold now. Freezing. Very poor circulation. Heart problems? Likely. Especially if he wasn't able to focus on keeping himself healthy. Or he didn't WANT to focus on keeping himself healthy. It would probably be a good idea to get him out of there. At least to another part of the temple, where he could rest and/or be looked at a  bit. But he wasn't able to move himself, and he was no longer able to keep completely conscious. His skin may have been like ice, but his forehead was not. It was burning up to the touch. Heart problems, weakness, fatigue, and a fever. Well this was just turning out to be a WONDERFUL day now, wasn't it? And what was the saddest part was that Arri didn't care.

A quick, "Tsk" slipped through his lips as he tossed the knife to the side, allowing it to strike the wall and stick there. "Dieing isn't allowed right now." he spoke, his body hovering over Arri's. He gently picked him up and slowly managed to get back down to the ground, heading toward the room he had once tried to sleep in. It was a peaceful room, and had been too peaceful for him.

He set the other male down on the little mat that he had left in the room and sat down, leaning against the wall. "Too quiet again.... I figured you'd bring me a bit of fun, but a toy is no fun if all they do is sleep." He pulled a pocketknife out of his... well.. pocket, and began playing with it while he kept a close eye on Arrikanez, waiting for him to wake back up. He'd figure out this creature's reasons for not wanting to be part of the world of the living.

He didn't sleep for too terribly much longer. After a bit, his eyes opened, and he sat up, albeit shakily. He was still groggy and out of it, having not had enough sleep to even begin to help with the fatigue. As a result of this, his heart was racing out of control. He realized this, and reached into one of his deep pockets to pull out a stethoscope. If he could hear what was wrong, he could fix it. Or at least try to. He might be too weak, if his mortal problems were coming back to haunt him. Well... getting the stethoscope on was going to be a bit of a challenge. He couldn't do much of anything right now but sit there with the instrument in his lap, trying to catch his breath from moving. This would be a sure sign that his mortal health issues HAD returned... which wasn't a good thing at all. If only he wasn't so weak... He seemed to have forgot that the other was even there, if he had known at all.

Barely a few short moments passed after the waking of the sickened god before Kire was haunched over infront of him. He was still on his feet, but had his knees bent all the way with his elbows resting on them. "Ah good. So I got to you before it was too late after all." the odd male spoke, smirking. "Would have been quite the pain to see you die after putting effort into carrying you to a better place to rest."

He could tell there was something wrong, and yet he didn't jump to helping right away. He took the steth from the other's lap, as if he wasn't going to let the other find out what was wrong. Did he.. enjoy seeing the pain of the other? It was uncertain, but there were a few more moments before he slipped the steth to his own ears and gently pushed the other back into a laying down position with his own body hovering over him.

"Just relax." he spoke, slipping off the sweater that the other was wearing so that he could slip the other end of the steth over his skin.

What the other heard was not encouraging. The heartbeat was fast, erratic as hell. Too soft. What he could hear of the lungs was ragged ragged wheezing, and labored intake. Arrikanez could barely breathe, and his heart had gone haywire. He didn't have enough energy to heal himself - but he was trying. Using up the last of his strength, and thus making his condition even worse. His eyes started to roll back into his head as he just lay there and tried to breathe.

"Why..... are you..... helping...... me?" he managed through the strained breaths he took. "I..... didn't..... do anything..... for you...."

Kire could hear the strain that was being put on his lungs, and shifted Arri so that he was propped up against him to make it easier to breath. His arm was wrapped around the other's, that way he could keep the stethoscope pressed against his chest to see if there were any changes over time.

"Actually, you did do something for me." he spoke into Arri's ear, still smiling. "You see... Your being here brings me some fun. There was nothing to do around here until I caught the sweet scent of your blood." His free hand slinked around the other's body, lightly dragging his claws across the skin. "Besides. You seem interesting."

The heartrate rose with the shift in position, but his breathing eased slightly. He still looked barely conscious, and it was a miracle he was even talking. Without warning, he broke into a fit of harsh, hard coughing. After it was done, he made a reflexive grab at his throat - sore - and worked his mouth to try and talk. All that came out was a hoarse squeak of words.

"Glad.... I could... make it.... entertaining."

But that's all he could say, before breaking into coughing again, with absolutely no desire or ability to speak after this second one was done. He just looked like he was in a hella lot of pain.

"Hush." he spoke, his voice quite stern now. "You talk, you seem to cough, and the cough will upset that ticker of yours." Kiresilo's middle finger of his free hand tapped against the other's chest, as if trying to think. "Yes... Your heart. We're going to need to do something about that if you're going to last at all."

But what could they do there? The guy seemed as though one of his main problems was that he needed rest, but there wasn't anything around him that he could use to help the pain in the other's chest. "Heh. Looks like I should have studied more on hearts. They haven't ever been my area of expertise."

His heart was still going haywire. It hadn't gotten better. Instead, it sounded even faster, and even weaker. And his skin was starting to go sheet-pale. Something that was going on was DRAINING him of whatever health he had left. His lungs sounded worse and worse as time went by, until he was barely able to draw IN breath without sounding like a broken billows. But he DID make an effort to stick to what the other had told him about not talking. It hurt too much to speak anyway. Even before he realized it was happening, he started to pass out. Even more of his energy went into keeping him awake. Which screwed up his heart even more, and made his lungs worse.

He could feel that the other was fighting with his body to stay awake, and knew that this was only causing his body more harm. Kire shifted his body a bit to slip his hand into his back pocket and pull out a tiny vile. He held onto it with his teeth and used his hand to pull the sash off of the arm that he had tied it around as a bandage. This was going to hurt Arri, he was sure of, but it'd also do him some good.

Using his claws, he forced a small part of the wound open again. He then pulled the cork out of the vile using his teeth and hand so that he could smear it over the now open wound. With this poison of sorts in his blood it should start to calm his heart a bit, as well as most likely knock him out. Kire would have to keep a close eye on him, but this would force him to rest at least.
