Alright. I'd really appreciate it. It will help pass the time while I wait for my companions. Junis settled down, waiting for Libri to start.

As she began to tell him about the story, he began to picture it in his head, as he always did. Sometimes, it was good to be blind, because he could visualize things so much better. He could just see Ava and Taniel, living so close, yet not meeting. He could picture the city, and the lone road that lead out.

Libri had paused, and Junis wondered what she was waiting for. Perhaps she was waiting for him to say something? Hmm...ok. So Taniel and Ava live in the same city, but haven't seen each other for years? Do they know that they live in the same city?

------ "Well, yeah. They do know. They didn' really get along great with each other when they were young, either."
------ Legolibri paused again, before continuing, deciding to explain the dragons later. "One day, Ava bumps into her brother in a bookstore, and they plan to meet at the edge of the mountains the next day. So at the appointed time, Ava shows up, but finds Taniel's late. She decides to explore around the mountains while she's waiting. When Taniel comes, she's out exploring one of the nearby caves. He calls out to her, she answers, and he follows her in when she refuses to come out. They enter a cavern with a small hole at the top, letting in the sunshine. When Ava crosses beneath the hole, she disappears. Taniel follows her, and they end up in the world of dragons."

Ok, I see now. They're avoiding each other on purpose...or at least, they're not in contact on purpose. Junis nodded. Alright, continue.

He sat perfectly still, perfectly silent. He was spellbound as Libri's words painted a scene before him. He could picture it all in his head perfectly. He waited in silence for Libri to go on, unwilling to destroy the image that was before him by speaking. He was already in the world of Ava and Taniel, and he didn't want to leave. In this world, he was no longer blind.

------ Libri began to describe the world of the dragons. She spoke about the Spirenals, the evil shape-shifting wraiths. She told him about the great mother dragon, Lera, and her collection of tiny, flawed gems. She mentioned the walking trees, the talking flowers, and the stars that frequently came down to impart wisdom to the dragons.
------ Then, it was Ava and Taniel's turn again. She described the feeling of falling through the portal (it felt like sinking, slowly), and how Ava had met a dragon just moments after entering the world. Taniel had been more cautious, approaching the dragon slowly, and refusing to trust. It was a good decision, as the "dragon" turned out to be one of the many Spirenals, who was bent on killing the two intruders.

Junis was now completely under the spell woven by Libri's voice. He was hardly able to breathe as he watched the scenes play out before him. He didn't notice the time passing, didn't notice anything at all! All he was focused on was Libri's voice, telling him the story.

Junis stretched, suddenly realizing that he had grown stiff. How...how long have we been sitting here? He asked. I'm surprised the others haven't found me yet.
