Frii sat down, waiting for Vendetta. What's taking her so long, he thought as Vendetta walked up, Nano on her back.
"You just had to bring that little pest! Frii spat. Not at Vendetta, but at Nano.
Nano muttered something, but was lost by Vendetta's voice. "Excuse me Frii! Were you insulting Nano."
"N-no," Frii stuttered. Why do I always get tongue-tied around her.
Vendetta rolled her eyes and sat next to him. Nano squeaked something at Frii, but Vendetta put him on the ground. "What's up."
"The sky," Frii answered dully.
Vendetta raised an eyebrow. "Are you ok. If I....I'm sorry."
"No, it's not you. It's something else," Frii said and looked up at the sky.
Vendetta gave him a weary eye. "Ok...."

Vendetta sighed. What do I have to do to get through to him? Vendetta let the question leave her mind.
"Hey look! A bird!" Frii exclaimed. Vendetta rolled her eyes.
He has a problem no one knows the answer to, Vendetta thought.
Nano came over to her when Frii ran off. "You like him don't you?" he said to Vendetta.
Vendetta looked at Nano with guilt written in her eyes. "Yes. But please don't tell him."
Nano nodded."Cross my heart and hope to die."

Frii came back 5 minutes later, his hair was all wild.
Vendetta laughed softly. "You look like you just stepped out of a huge hair dryer."
Frii rolled his eyes. "Oh well. You know you love it," he teased.
Vendetta's smile faded quickly. The mention of the word "love" from Frii or around him made her ansty and nervous. Her body tensed. Don't flip out, don't flip out.
"Are you ok," Frii asked, his voice deep with concern.
Vendetta didn't answer. She looked up at him, then her eyes shut....

Vendetta woke up to herself being in a cave. "How did I- where am I," she asked, Nano at her side while Frii was standing over her.
"You collapsed after I asked of you were ok. So...are you," Frii asked again.
"Y-yes, I do suppose I am," Vendetta said and stood up, her head still spinning. I'm ok...I'm ok...
Frii sighed and sat by her. Say it! Go ahead! Say it! Frii thought.
If you say ANYTHING you don't want to know what will happen!!! a voice yelled in his head.
"What the-" Frii muttered.
Vendetta looked at him. "You ok."
Nano looked up at Frii, then back at Vendetta. Oh the love.

Vendetta looked away from Frii, for some reason, tears were welling in her eyes. It's obvious he doesn't like me, she thought sadly.
Frii looked at Vendetta as she looked away. 'I love you,' he mouthed. Nano picked up the word. I need to tell Vendetta, I have to.
Nano went over to Vendetta "Frii loves you," he whispered, hoping Frii didn't hear.
"REALLY!!!!" Vendetta exclaimed.
Frii and Nano jumped in surprise. "WHAT?!?!" Frii asked.
Vendetta blushed deep red. "Nothing," Vendetta whispered.

Vendetta had to get it on with. "Frii, I.....love you," she admitted and closed her eyes, waiting to be yelled at or him be mad, or Nano getting mad and yelling at her in his high-pitched squeaky voice that gives her a headache.
Frii blinked and kissed her. "I love you too, but I thought you would kill me if I said anything."
Vendetta opened her eyes. "Kill you! I'm not that mean," she teased and punched his arm. "I guess we should go back home, shouldn't we."
Nano nodded.
"Yea, let's go. You want me to carry Nano," Frii asked.
"NO!!! NO!!!" Nano screamed blue murder.
Vendetta laughed. "I've got him." She put Nano on her back, and away they walked. "Next time, Terrace Park."
"After it thaws," Frii said.
Please don't bring me, Nano thought.

After they got slightly far from the place they were, snow hit. "Wonderful," Vendetta said. Nano got knocked off into a pile of snow.
Frii picked him up and put him on Vendetta's back. "We should wait out the storm in that cave," he said and pointed at a cave.
Vendetta nodded and they headed over.

Inside the cave, it looked to be abandoned. There was a flickering fire and paintings on the wall. "Someone was here before us, and I think they'll be back soon," Vendetta said.
They heard a crack behind them and everyone of them froze.

Vendetta turned around, but saw that she had stepped on a twig. "Sorry," she said and looked outside. She could see the waterfalls. There was no hint that there had been a sudden blast of snow a few minutes early. "It's clear enough. Let's leave." {2.8}

Frii nodded and walked out, waiting for Vendetta. Whe she and nano got out, he started off. It was a beautiful day... now. He couldn't believe that it had snowed early. Idalani Falls is a strange place, Frii said and continued. {2.8}

Nano looked at the scenery. Such beautiful scenery. Frii isn't good enough for Vendetta. He never will be. Not as long as I'm here, Nano thought. He always thought of himself as Vendetta's "adopted dad." {2.8}
