Kaya reached the bottom and watched as Splatter tried to make his way to the bottom. "You can do it," she encouraged from the ground. She felt a breeze come in and watched the blades of grass dance in the wind. She gripped the picture tighter.

Splatter closed his eyes and jumped. He sighed and sigh of relief when he hit the ground. "Here's one of my deepest secrets: I'm afraid of heights." Splatter felt like hugging the ground, but decided not to.

"I don't blame you," she said. "I used to be." She smiled and turned to go. She wanted to go sit by one of the falls and feel the mist on her fur. "Let's go," she said before walking toward the falls. Once she reached the path that wound around the falls. She sat near the path and closed her eyes. The mist drifted to her and splattered her fur.

Splatter sat by her. It felt like he was sitting on the beach. It's so peaceful, he thought. Splatter loved sitting there.

Kaya felt comfortable sitting beside Splatter. She didn't mind his warm body beside hers; it was a habit of hers to cuddle. She sighed and watched the water glistening in the sun. What next? she thought.

What happens now, Splatter thought and shifted. He glanced back at his skateboard for a split second, then turned back. Splatter closed his eyes and felt the cool water. This day was perfect.

Kaya couldn't get over how nice the water felt. She stood up and began to walk on the dirt path. It was a well-worn path and her paws stepped lightly on the dirt. She felt the wind stir and blow against her. Suddenly, the picture flew out of her tail. "Oh no!" she gasped and ran after it. It was flying higher and higher, out of reach.

Splatter got on his skateboard and skated after Kaya. "Hop on!" he called and swerved closer to her. Just get on, or that picture is staying wherever it's going, Splatter thought and held out his paw.

Kaya took his paw and hopped onto the skateboard. She watched as the picture flew further away. "Let's go," she said. She wanted to close her eyes, but she didn't want to loose sight of the picture. She held onto Splatter as he navigated his way to get the picture.

Splatter pushed on the ground. Almost there... he thought and made them go faster. "Hold on," he told Kaya and lept off the skateboard to grab the picture. Splatter got it, but fell to the ground. Hard.

Kaya tumbled on the ground after Splatter. She regained her feet just in time to see him fall to the ground. She rushed forward. "You okay?" she asked the arkuhna. He seemed to have really hurt himself. "You didn't have to do that," she added softly as she waited for him to rise.

Splatter nodded. "Here," he said and handed Kaya the picture. He stood up. His foreleg hurt when he put wieght on it. Splatter winced as he stood up. "Yea, I'm fine," he lied, gritting his teeth.

"Thanks," Kaya said as she took the picture back. She watched Splatter stnad up, and noticed he wasn't walking right. "I'm not stupid, ya know," Kaya said. "Why don't you let it rest while I think of what we can do next." She paced back and forth, wondering what they could do for Splatter's leg. She was no medic, that's for sure.

I never said you were, Splatter thought and sat down. I could sit on my skateboard and Kaya could push it. "If you help me onto my skateboard, you could push me to somewhere not so... overgrown with jungle."

"That could work," Kaya said. Then she went to Splatter's side and helped him to his feet. She tried to shoulder as much of his weight as she could as she led him to the skateboard. "Have a seat," she said as she held the skateboard steady.
