Often called the 'Lover's Triangle' for the trio of waterfalls feeding in to a triangular gorge, the Idalani area is a picture-perfect place to spend time with that special someone, with a beautiful exotic backdrop and countless rainbows dancing across the sky. (+2 Speed)

((Kotta, Male Arkuhna))
The Arkuna padded to the shore of the bottom of the water fall, feeling it's sprays. This wasn't the kind of place he would normaly come, but something had told him too. He liked it here, and he didn't have an explination as too why. It was peaceful, much unlike the meadow which he lived. THat area was always in a state of compleate chaos, for all of the hyper pets were annoying the loner pets, and war would brake out. He figured he had came here for some peace and quiet, though he wasn't use to it. He was happy to be here, with no one around.

((Is a flashback!))
You may call, you may call
But the little black cats won't hear you.
The little black cats are maddened
By the bright green light of the moon;
They are whirling and running and hiding,
They are wild who were once so confiding,
They are crazed when the moon is riding
You will not catch the kittens soon.
They care not for saucers of milk,
They think not of pillows of silk;
Your softest, crooningest call
Is less than the buzzing of flies.
They are seeing more than you see,
They are hearing more than you hear,
And out of the darkness they peer.
With a goblin light in their eyes!

((Mystic, Female Common Kuhna))

Mystic normally liked quiet, magical places. But this waterfall just seemed like the place to come today. She couldn't really explain it...she could have easily hung out with Cynder or Kubari--Overcast wasn't very good company--and she was pretty sure Pyo and Cocoa had gone to Jawan, or one of the beaches around there. However annoying Cocoa could be sometimes, at least he was friendly. But today she wanted to be here.
Mystic looked out through the tall, tropical trees at the faraway waterfall. There was someone there, she thought...another Kuhna? She took a few steps out of the trees.

I listen to the wind
to the wind of my soul
Where I'll end up well I think,
only God really knows
I've sat upon the setting sun
But never, never never never
I never wanted water once
No, never, never, never

I listen to my words but
they fall far below
I let my music take me where
my heart wants to go
I swam upon the devil's lake
But never, never never never
I'll never make the same mistake
No, never, never, never

Kotta heard a footstep behind him. He swung around, and came face to face with a common kuhna. "Who are you?" He asked, trying not to sound rude, but he couldn't help but think he sounded a little mean. "Why... Uh... Nevermind.." He added, absent mindingly and stopping himself before he sounded too mean.

"Oh...I'm sorry." Mystic said, her ears drooping. "If I'm interrupting anything, I'll leave. I just...felt like I needed to come here today." Mystic could see the Arkuhna was already calming down--that's what it looked like anyway. "Maybe we can stay out of each other's way", she suggested. "I'm Mystic. What's your name?"

"I'm Kotta. Its alright. You can stay here. You... You just surprised me." He said, sheepishly. "Mistic huh? Nice name. I have a common kuhna 'round my place named Merri. She can be such a pest. But that's just 'couse she's... "He paused in mid scentince, looking for a word in all vocab, real or made up, to describe it, "issuethetic."
He was talking kinda pointlessly, but he was eager to start a conversation. He was noticing that he was a little lonely, being so use to being around so many others.

Mystic laughed softly at Kotta's choice of words. She found she was getting along with this Kuhna quite well. She liked the way he was funny without meaning to. "I like your name, Kotta. Does it...mean anything?"

"Uh... Well...Yah... I think it means artistic. I know. It's so creative. My sister, nendou's, name means telekinesis." He said. He was injoying this kuhna. She was fun to talk to so far.... Though they didn't have much conversation so far.
"Hey, come over here and sit down. It's a good veiw of the falls." He told her, motioning to where he was sitting before. He sat where he was, and mentioned with his tails for her to sit beside him.

"Alright." Mystic padded over to where Kotta was and sat down. She stared at the falls for a while, enjoying the way the mist washed over her face. Then she said, "Don't you love the way the sunlight makes beautiful colors on the moving water? Like miniature rainbows." She cocked her head from side to side and saw the colors dance across the surface of the water. She couldn't think of a more beautiful sight. This must be the most magical place in the world. She was glad it was just her and Kotta here, and not a bunch of yelling kits running around. Not that I don't like kits, Mystic thought. I love kits. Maybe I can have some of my own someday... Startled, she quickly brought herself back to earth. Was it the scenery that made her thoughts wander, or who she was with?

Kotta looked at the water for a bit, just seeming to notice the rainbows. "Your right... It is a nice sight..." He replied. The roar of the waterfalls seemed to have died down to a duller noise, when by the time he first got here, he wondered how anyone could consider it peaceful. "So what told you to come here? Just getting out of where you live. My place is compleat Chaos right now." He asked.

"The same reason as you really...Kubari and Cyn are really obsessed with the war right now. They won't talk about anything else...well, Cyn will. She talks about anything and everything. But that's just as annoying. I think Cynder was over at Knight's place this morning, anyway--that's her best friend", Mystic explained. "I guess I didn't realize I was lonely all by myself here until you showed up. I need company." Mystic smiled at Kotta.

"Same 'bout the lonelyness. Knight huh? Ya mean the void rattegan?" Kotta asked, returning the smile "She's 'round my place, truthfully. One of the calmer ones. I thought she mentioned a friend named Cynder."

"R-really? That's cool. So maybe you've seen Cynder before and not noticed." Mystic was quiet for a minute, then her ears pricked up. There was a slight rumbling noise she had not noticed before coming from the cave behind the waterfall. She turned to Kotta, wondering if he had noticed. "Do you hear that?" Mystic stood up and took a step towards the falls.

"I-I think I heard that..." Kotta answered. He stood up, and also took a step closer. "I wonder what it is. Should we go look?" He asked her. He was sure that what ever was behind there would ether be really cool, or really dangerous.

As Kotta spoke, Mystic was already halfway to the falls. The rumbling became louder as she approached the wall of water, and the roaring was nearly unbearable. Holding her breath, Mystic darted through the falls. The force of the spray pushed her down into a deep pool of water, and she found herself swimming. Mystic opened her eyes underwater and found she was on the other side of the falls now. She swam up, pushing the water aside with her large paws, and broke the surface of the water. Not looking into the depths of the cave yet, she waited for Kotta.

((No fair))
Kotta followed just behind her. He too got out of the water on the other side. "Are you sure your up for an adventure?" He said smileing.  "Race ya to the next fork in the cave!" He told her, darting off. Truthfully, he didn't know if they would come up to the monster thing or the fork next, but he didn't mind taking the risk. He just hoped he could see what ever he came to.
