Often called the 'Lover's Triangle' for the trio of waterfalls feeding in to a triangular gorge, the Idalani area is a picture-perfect place to spend time with that special someone, with a beautiful exotic backdrop and countless rainbows dancing across the sky. (+2 Speed)

Just as he had hoped, Forza had successfully caught the rathril by surprise and sent it hurtling into the air. Now, all that remained was to see if his attack was successful or not.

Even if it was, it was intended to knock the dragon into the water, and if he remained in his current position half in and half out of the water he might not get the chance to grab his meal. It was only natural that he didn't want a successful attack to do nothing against his opponent.

And so, not paying much attention to what was going on in mid-air, he worked his way back into the river. Once he was fully in, he headed for the spot underneath where the dragon was flying, eyes focused skywards to see the results.

Ryuu saw the Rathril flying towards him, still clinging onto her sword. Getting the blade stuck in his body would not be a good thing, and he now understood that the Werebetta had meant to knock him out of the air. But the Rathril was clever and reverted to her human form mid-flight. However, she was still hurtling towards him, and he would have moved out of the way had he considered that the Rathril would get hurt more if she landed on the ground instead of crashing into him. Besides, he wasn't worried about breaking anything; he had seen worse.

So he allowed her to grab onto him, his leg specifically, and her weight brought him down a good bit. He saw the Werebetta position itself underneath him. If it sprang now, it would get the girl first, and not Ryuu. The Rathril had made an effort to help him, so he would not let her become the fish's next meal before he did. Ryuu beat his wings rapidly, hoping to gain a little more altitude, but he was not exactly made to carry weight like this. They were getting closer to the Werebetta.

He growled quietly as he tried to think of something else. He gazed down at the girl clinging onto his leg, the orange glow of his slitted eyes pulsing steadily. "You may..." he began, "want to watch out..."

With that said, he suddenly turned in the direction of the Werebetta and let lose a tongue of orange flame from his jaws. He wasn't sure how effective of an attack it would be, seeing as the fish was in water, but he hoped it would at least throw the Werebetta off.

In a maneuver that would cause much shame whenever she remembered it later, Tachless clung to the Paragon's leg and pulled her own dangling limbs as far away as possible from the flames. Normally she wouldn't seek out anyone's help, of course, but this was something of a unique occasion. Anyway, it would just be stupid to let go now, and stubborn pride was not always the same thing as stupidity.

Oh, she probably ought to thank the Paragon for not letting her fall into the fish's mouth, or the water, or on the ground, or wherever the heck she would have landed; she hadn't been paying too much attention. Thanking people; another of her less developed skills. On the other hand, there was really no sense risking the possibility of being dropped. Not that the Paragon seemed to be paying her much attention anyway, but still. Some of those lessons on politeness had stuck.

"Hey." Not the best start, but whatever. "This is probably a bad time, but thanks, I guess." And feel lucky I bothered to say anything at all, she added silently.

Possibly she should be focusing on the issue at hand, but there wasn't much for her to do in this position, and she wasn't about to let go.
