I stared in open shock at the flames. Hail had attacked.
"Thats what you get for trying to kill me!" He snarled, plainly confused.
"No..I loved you! Right...?" I was confused, not understanding who his brother was.
"You used my powers to kill my brother! Your a cheater!" He snarled, insulting my soul.
"No! You forced yourself to see the wrongness in my heart, when there was none!" I leapt away, only to b caught once again by his firm grasp. It was warm, a true bond. "Please..I never..." I tried to get the words out, but he knew there was something wrong.
"Your lying. Again" He voice was gentle, but angry, his eyes like pools of light, mixed in with grief and anger. I could lose myself in those eyes. A thousand times, I would take his hurt, instead of his separation.
"No, you can't possibly...." I trailed off, knowing my pain was very small compared to his.
"I am done with you. You cannot love me. Not after him." He spat out the Him, like it was a curse.
"But..I can't..Lose..you...." I sounded wimpy and desperate, but I was.

Hail

I laughed, amused and angry. This love was never meant to be.
"No.. You left me..." Laughing like the insane maniac I was, I just stared at her, my flames sparking, feeling excited and letting the adrenaline run through my veins.
"You saw nothing!" Flames retorted. I had to admit, she had spirit, for one who lied.
"I saw you. You were kissing him" I said, thinking of that time she had loved me. She had looked into my eyes, and her heart was pure then. I could tell. She liked the bad boys. Our relationship had been playful at first, but then, she had told me what she saw in me, and then..we started dating... She had been everything I couldn't have, yet everything i had wanted.  I shook myself, knowing  I was mental for wanting her after I had seen her with another. "What was that you had with him. I saw a deep, almost spiritual connection with him. Why do you do this to me?"  I snarled, upset of losing the last thing  I had.
"I..Made a promise..." She whispered, pain showing where she tried to hide it the most. She was telling the truth.  I had been blind to her pain.
"What do you mean? " I asked, softer this time. "Why did you.. leave me? " I just couldn't understand that. "Who was he? "  I presssed, confused, and seeking answers.  Suddenly, she kissed me, Her lips soft and warm, full of regret and loss, and pain. I pushed her back slowly, trying to read her emotions.
"That's what I get for hurting you." She said, and backed away slowly.

Rabbot AC1

Cupid 218 found herself wandering into the wrong part of this conversation. Her programming and scanners processed the data in front of her with great expediency. The scanners indicated a vast amount of negative energy emitting from the two beings. Her prime directive kicked in and attempted to quell the conflict.

"Excuse me...would you please stop polluting the energy around her. Thank you." she said in her somewhat digital sounding voice. "It's for the best, I promise."

"Who are you? " I asked, curling around Hail in a protective gesture.
"Flames, shush, let me handle this" Snarling at the creature, Hail leaped forward, leaving me to defend myself. What an annoying guy. I kissed his hand before letting him rampage on this robotic creature.
"Oh, be careful, you moron!" I said, frowning. Boys.
"yes, honey, I will try to not get hurt in front of a robot. Harhar." He said, flashing me a sarcastic smile.

"Oh Goodness." said the Rabbot. "This is an unseen variable."

Her eyes began to glow as her defensive programming took over. "Defensive Posture Alpha VII." said the deeper computerized voice. A sphere wrapped itself around Cupid 281 forming a protective field. Cupid 281, true to form with her Rabbot design, was unphased by the attacking, blazing, creature. Once the field was up, she began to speak again in her normal, more high pitched tone. "Now then, can we please discuss this logically?"

Confused, I stared at the creature. "Ok, what do you want? "  "My name is Hail" I added quicky, backing to Flames, in a protective posture. "Stay away from her" I warned, unpleasant.

"Hello. My name is Cupid 281. I am a Rabbot AC1. My prime directive is to seek out emotional unrest and quell it. You are displaying high levels of agitation, rage, jealousy, confusion, loneliness, and are creating emotional unrest. I must resolve this issues by any means necessary. However, I must still defend this body while still preforming my duty." she said in a very matter of fact tone. Her monotone was soothing and soft, but the robotic element caused it to be somewhat jarring.

" Ok, robot, lady, whatever you are, Can you back off? Where did you come from? Who are your creators? This is a place to love! Hence the name!" I snarled, confused. "Can you stay away from us? we are solving our issues. You have no right to butt in!"

"This is the reason I was built. To prevent places of care and love such as this to be polluted by negative energizes. You will not solve your issues in this way. Not a way ruled by emotions such as fear and selfishness. This is not love. Love is based on an ethical treatment of one another. As of now... you are merely a ruthless tyrant. You are attempting to impose your will to make them love you. For it to be love, they must have a real choice. Not be threatened into that choice." said Cupid 281, processing all the information she had gathered through the logic center of her main frame.

I snorted, angry and pointless in my quest. "Goodbye, meet me at the falls" I said, and left, leaving poor Hail alone, confused, and very centered on grabbing me and leaving. I flashed him a warning look "Bans'g" I mouthed, warning him. Then, I left, heading up the the falls.

[Ashes]

I staed at her, in open fury. "What?! I can't leave you! Don't go!" I said, but it was too late. She was gobe. Great. Just when we were One, she leaves me. Crap. "Look, I don't know who you are, or what you think your doing here, but you have Zero rights to intrude. Get. Out. Now." I hissed, baring my fangs in blunt fury.

[Ashes]

Istarted walking, thinking of what had happened:


He had been near. I was at his left flank, the protectors position. It hadn't been enough. Never enough! I had stared as the creature had attacked, and instinct had kicked in. I jumped up, shifting faster than possible. it still was too late. I jumped up and tried to grab onto the beast, to no avail. I bit down, trying and trying, while my life was at stake. suddenly, everything faded, I felt extreme pain, and knew that my Fuse was gone. I was dead. Or, half of me, anyway. My "body" had died, but now, I was a spirit floating around. crap. my human trans, was also dead, so that meant I was floating bulb of light. Crap. Again.

Cupid 281, accessed her programing and new the correct course of action. Her eyes glowed again. and a rune appeared on the ground. "Until such a time in which you have found someone who ethically loves you, you shall be marked. Each time you are cruel to anyone, even a stranger, you shall feel their pain as well." She opened her eyes to complete the curse. Hopefully it was successful.

Fear sizzled through me as I felt the shock of a curse. "  I don't believe in curses, therefore, I cannot be cursed. Watch." I came up to her and screamed in her ear, yelling at her. Nothing happened to me. "Now, I would enjoy having you leave my area at once!" I snarled, walking away.

Cupid 281 looked up. "You are a fool. What you have is not the love you claim. It is a fallacy. It is an emotional deadlock. You are both tyrants attempting to control one another. In the end, it is not about love, care or compassion, but power. You are cruel to each other, you attempt to love each other, but are really just trying to own each other. You will destroy each other before you could even try to find love."

The Rabbot, left. There was nothing she could do for someone who could not listen and understand. The lot of them, would learn their lesson eventually. They would have to. Or die.
