Sauron liked the way Janessa fit into his arms. It felt nice. When she leaned her head against his chest he felt his heart beat faster, like he was nervous or something. He didn't think he was nervous. Well, maybe he was a little. Nevertheless, he could feel Janessa's warm body against his and it was keeping him warm in return. But that wasn't the only reason he still held on to her. He didn't want to let her go because, well, he might not like to admit it, but he liked her. He liked her liked her. He smiled happily. Hopefully she liked him liked him too. He didn't want to say anything though. When it came to matters of the heart, he was as nervous and afraid. Afraid of what Janessa might think if he spilled the beans about how he felt so early in their relationship, heck, they had just met!

Even though this adorable position in the middle of a lake was sweet and all, Janessa thought she should probably get to know him better before she go too involved. "So... Whatcha wanna do? The forests are pretty nice around here, I've heard." Wait... Where would she hear something like that?! "Not that I talk a lot about this place or anything..." She added lamely. Exploring a forest might be fun, especially if it was with him. For some reason, being around him just made Janessa happy. A sign? No, she was probably just over thinking it.

"We could go exploring," Sauron said with a smile. "Maybe we can discover something," he added with a sparkle in his eye. He loved adventures. Though reluctant to do so, Sauron let go of Janessa's waist. "Let's go," he said and began swimming back to shore. He felt awkward now. Why did he feel to awkward around her? He was awkward and a little uncomfortable, but happy and comfortable at the same time. What was up with him?

Janessa nodded. Exploring sounded like a good idea. "Yes, that would be nice." She smiled. She let go of his waist as well, but she wasn't quite happy about it. The kuhna began to gracefully swim back to the shore. Janessa often swam with Nydanaa if they ever came across a lake in their travels. As they swam back, she noticed that he was pretty quiet, but decided not to say anything. Let him think, she thought.

Sauron glanced back to look for Janessa. She wasn't swimming by his side, maybe she was giving him space to think. He noticed that she was a very graceful swimmer, much more graceful than him. He turned back around front and reached the shore in no time. He stood up on the solid ground and shook his fur off. The water droplets flew around him and he smiled. His fur was somewhat drier than it had been. He stood there and waited for Janessa to reach the shore as well. He didn't want to go anywhere without her.

Janessa followed up behind him, reaching the shore just seconds after Sauron. She giggled as some of the droplets of water hit her already soaked fur. She, in turn, shook off her own coat. She trotted off into the forest with a glance back at him. The clumsy kuhna was only lucky she didn't trip or run into a tree.

Sauron followed after Janessa, a smile on his face. He trotted after the cake kuhna, eyes shining. He was glad to have her as a companion. He followed along, watching the scenery: the lush green trees, colorful birds, sunshine, and other various things. He then saw a particular colorful bird. It had bright blue tail feathers, green wing feathers and an orange body. "Look at that bird!" he exclaimed as he stopped his trotting pace. He admired the feather, so smooth and shiny.
