"No, no, I meant the pups from that litter that stay in our pen..." Seth corrected, pondering momentarily. "I think it was... Aerik'ith and Me...Meta-something. He's never really around, so I don't know him. It drives dad insane that he's never around." Seth grinned.

Umio nodded. "Yeah, Kakkazan is their sister. She told me about them." she said. A thought struck her. "And their other sister, Kokuten, lives with Becca's friend Sage. Yeah, thats right." She smiled at Seth. "I never really thought about it, but I guess you and Kakkazan are cousins." she said.

[SirMax]

"Actually, we're half siblings." said Seth, blinking at her in slight confusion. How did she mix those two up...? "Because we share the same father, but have different mothers..." pausing for a moment, he remarked. "You know, that'd make you their aunt, wouldn't it?"

[Becca]

Umio chided herself inwardly. That was a stupid mistake! "Well, I guess. But we're still not related by blood." she said. "Becca likes to call me and Hallow sisters and we like to as well. I actually came to her as a pup. Hallow was already with her and we became friends and eventually we were as close as sisters." She was feeling a bit odd, but she didn't know how to describe it, and wasn't sure why.

"Oh." Seth said, feeling suddenly very awkward and shuffling back and forth uncomfortably as they walked. He wasn't quite sure what had brought on this sudden burst of embarrassment, but it was very strange...

[Becca]

Umio walked in silence as well. She watched her feet, and just barely looked up in time to sidestep a tree. She kept her eyes up after this near miss.

The trees thinned out and they entered a clearing. A large rock wall towered over them. Water poured over the edge, casting droplets over the area. One landed on Umio's nose and she flinched slightly. "Wow. I guess Hallow was right." she said staring at the two small rainbows over the falls.

"Wow..." said Seth, watching the rainbows in fascination. Struck by a sudden idea, he drifted closer to Umio until he was right next to her, brushing up against her slightly as he continued to watch the spray from the falls form the stunning rainbows.

[Becca]

Umio's side tingled as Seth brushed against her, but she did not draw away. She turned her head and smiled at him. She looked back at the falls. "I never thought that I'd get to see something like this..." she said quietly. She was glad there was someone else here to see it with her.

[SirMax]

"M-me either..." said Seth, his words catching in his throat slightly. Something about the little passing smile that Umio had given him knocked the breath right out of him. He took a deep breath before smiling at Umio again.

[Becca]

She smiled back sweetly. Seth was a very nice male. "It looks like the rainbow really does come from the moon." she said, pointing up. The moon peeked over the falls, shining through the droplet of water that created the rainbows.

[SirMax]

Seth nearly fell into the water, his heart beating in what he thought was far too irregular to be healthy. If her first smile her smile had staggered him, then her sweet, innocent smile had been a knockout punch.

[Becca]

Umio looked at him with concern on her face. "Are you alright?" she asked, truly worried. She too was feeling odd, her heart thumped faster as she looked at him. Her head felt full of fog too.

[SirMax]

"I...I don't know. I think I'm more alright than I've been in a very long time." he said, head spinning as he looked at Umio, his heartbeat still acting odd as he drew even closer to her, feeling her own rapid heartbeats as their chests touched.

[Becca]

Umio's heart raced still faster. A murring sound came from her throat. She felt dizzy and lightheaded now. Clouds of warm fog filling her mind. Umio realized that she was happy, happier than she had ever been before. She murred slightly louder.

Seth let a small satisfied growl slip out as he lay his head on top of Umio's, the rainbows all but forgotten now, caught up as he was in Umio and the increasingly difficult task of not falling into the river, what with his head spinning like it was...
