X bobbed his head up and down in agreement. It seemed like the safest option, since some of the people who had decided to come on this thing were so small. Khimera's and Kuhna's seemed to be the popular party here, and while the Khimera and Garudor were probably able to look after themselves, he worried about the Kuhna's, Fellox and Gyrraptor. But X was the worrying and protective kind of guy, it was no reflection on their personal abilities.

"For safety purposes, that seems like a good idea. How should we do it? First five who arrived? Or should we try to form skill-balanced groups?" He threw his two cents into the conversation, before padding off to investigate some of the tracks. He'd let the others figure out the groups then go along with whatever had been planned. "Oh! By the way, my name is X."

He ran a claw around the edge of one of the tracks, frowning a little. They looked... recent almost. He'd have to be on his guard.

[Thunder]

Adey followed the Ghastly Kuhna deeper into the mists, listening to the chatter of the other group members. She knew things were going to go downhill as soon as the Kuhna suddenly vanished from sight. She growled a bit at the thought that she may have been duped of her money, but it was too late. She was here, and she was going to be a part of this.

She heard the others talking about groups. Adey frowned a bit. She didn't <i>particularly</i> enjoy group work, considering the fact that for a while she had been dragged around by a playboy Reaper, a grouchy half-fallen angel, and a dopey demon lord, but if they were to face something dangerous, perhaps it would be a good idea.

"I second the thought," she said, and then added quietly, "sort of. I don't care about who I'm stuck with, but just so you know, I don't fight very well. I'm Adey, by the way."

"I guess, couldn't hurt." Acting tough seemed to work well with the guide but now that he was gone, that ment that they were alone in the forest. He was not really fond of dark misty places bt he will have to live with it if he was going to act tough. "  But first I'd like to know your names before we head along. My name is Firemantra. Also when we see that 'guide' of ours I'd like to be the first one to tear him to shreds."

Stella listened to the others, unsure what to say. She'd feel way safer in a group, but that also meant that the group wasn't safe from Chaotic by any means. Not only because Chaotic was absolutely unable to sneak around and would probably alert every dangerous creature in a mile-long radius by just being there, but also because well, she could turn into a more-than-dangerous killer herself. Not the best companion, that was for sure.

"Well..." Stella slowly said. "My name is Stella. I really like the idea of staying in a group, but..." She pointed at Chaotic.

The other Fellox was busy jumping in a circle around everyone else and yelling "Yay! We're lost! We're lost! Yay! That's chaotic! We'll all die! Yay!" at the top of her lungs.

"That's my sister, Chaotic. She's insane. Totally insane. It's not safe around her, at all." Stella laughed nervously. "I'm not sure that her being in a group would be a good idea."

[Elektra]

"I'd say that X, myself, Stella, the Gyraptor, and the Aurlur Kuhna go together.  Then the two Kihmeras and Garudor take the rest of the Kuhnas along with them.  That way the strength is almost equal in each.  And perhaps Chaotic could stay back and be lookout?"  He ended that last part in a questioning tone, not sure of the second Fellox.  Of course, the others were free to disagree with him, as he was just throwing his ideas out.  

The only thing he would like to happen was to be able to take on some of the beasts.  And, considering X was a Paragon, he seemed like an ideal fighting partner.  As long as they were able to stay out of sight until the time was right, Zuru would bring home a lot when he was finished.

"I do agree that Firemantra and I should accompany the bulk of the kuhnas. I'd like to hear the opinions of the others before I go allying myself either way."

Triskelion thought these people should consider themselves quite lucky, in any event. They were being offered the chance of a lifetime: to work with an employed agent of espionage free from any disguises or aliases. Risk shook his head in amazement at the information these travelers could glean from his experience.

"Well?" he offered, turning to the other eight. "What say you?"

(Seriously, people, if I had known that we are doing a group thing I would have brought anyone but Chaotic. xD; 'Sorry' doesn't even express how sorry I really am. I thought that would end up as something like the Easter Egg RPs where everyone did his/her own thing even in a group and I needed writing material... I fail. D8)

Stella was glad that the Lucain actually proposed an idea which sounded reasonable in terms of strength division. She had to admit she, who was still new to this world and barely traveled outside Whisper Forest, still didn't know all that much about the species of this world.

But that didn't change the problem that there was Chaotic still. "Yeah, well...I really like your idea." Stella smiled a bit strained. "But I'm not sure how Chaotic can be used as anything useful but bait material, honestly. Haha. Wait, I'll show you. Chaotic?"

"Yeeeeeees?"

"Do you want to be lookout?"

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Yes! That's chaotic! I'll do iiiiit! Iiiit! Look! I found something! It's a tree! A treeeeeeee!" Chaotic started to bounce around the nearest tree. "I found a treeeeee!"

Stella turned back to the Lucain. "See the problem? And that's her when she's actually behaving well. She can turn around and try to kill you one second later if her mood changes. I'm used to deal with her, so I will probably be able to stop her from attacking any of you, but as you can hear, she's not exactly the silent type anyway and will probably run happily at any creature she meets. And then bounce around it or attempt to slay it. Or suddenly start chasing her own tails."

"Treeee!" Chaotic bounced over to Stella and leaned in close to her ear. "TREEEEE!"

"Argh!"

"I hold no qualms with this idea," Arlür said, holding her head high.  "And I agree with the fact that Chaotic should stay and keep watch--she would certainly make enough noise to alert us if anything was coming; no offense meant in any way," she said quickly, looking back over the group that Zeru had suggested.  Her ears flicked curiously, but other than that, they did not move all that much.

"However, I am only one of the members in this group--what matters most is what you all think," she said, placing extra emphasis on all.

X poked his head up from his investigation to slide a few more words in. He had been listening to the conversation, though not actively partaking in it, as he was the kind of creature to be happy with other people's whims. However, he did have a few thoughts.

"I'm happy with the groups proposed. Well, I'll be happy with anything. I think I can defend the group if something happens. But, I don't mind if I take Chaotic along with me? I can watch over her. I have no qualms against the noise, or defending her specifically should the need arise? Or we could tag along, but at the rear of the group or something? I don't know, it's just a suggestion." He replied, his normal naive and playful demeanor, turned somewhat serious. "Or we can both scout ahead? I don't mind. S'just. What if something happens? That would be bad wouldn't it?"

With the last comment, his eyes widened in a child-like fashion and well, just what a child would do to emphasis their words. He wasn't a child himself, but he was surprisingly innocent in actions for his breed and height. He was fully confident in his ability to protect though. That's what he had done for his master before he died.

"Oh! And if it's weird calling me X, you can just call me Blue. Some people think it's weird that my name is a letter." He added as an afterthought.

[Elektra]

"I suppose it's decided then.  If it's okay, I'd like to request that I be the one to scout ahead.  Due to a paranormal experience, I have extremely keen senses of smell, sight, and hearing, and would be the one alerted most certainly to any upcoming predators."  Zeru paused for the rest of his own group to state their feelings on the matter.  Of course, during that pause, he began to look around.  The marks in the ground caught his attention, and he knelt down to inspect them.  They weren't to stale, and the scent still lingered.  Judging by the fact that there wasn't much on top of the tracks, and the area around it wasn't disturbed, the Turkeyzilla's which left it couldn't be more than a mile of two away.  This meant that little thing had not only stolen their keystones, but had also led them into a death game.  They really were suckers...  All the same, this would be fun.  Smiling, he looked up, awaiting the others responses.



(Anyone know if there will be an NPC who will pop in and try to attack us, or should on of us bring in a few of the Turkeys?)

Stella turned to X. "That's very kind of you. I assure you, though, you'd probably need more protection from my sister than from anything else." She listened when Zeru asked to scout ahead. "If that's fine with the others as well, I'll then stay at the back with my sister? I may add that, while not a doctor, I do have some healing powers, so if someone gets hurt, I could help."

"Oh! Oh! Here's a rock! Rooooock! I'm a good lookout!" Chaotic started to randomly bounce around a rock. "Stella! Roooock!"

Stella sighed. "Okay, Chaotic. Listen, will you? You know how you always shout stuff out at the top of your lungs?"

"Yeeees?"

"You're doing it all the time. That's not chaotic. That's boring. It would be chaotic if you'd be quiet for some time."

Chaotic stared at her sister, wide-eyed. Then she nodded. "....."

"Heh." Stella turned to the rest of the group. "No idea how long this will work and I don't expect her to fall for it twice, but there we go, silent Fellox."

(Elektra, I have no idea about the NPCs, but at least in the Docile version, there is no mod-controlled Turkey so far.)

Azul hadn't spoken up, he was listening to everyone. He like the idea of the groups of strength. Azul wasn't weak by all means, he had the pack instincts. He species always hunted in packs. If he tried to hunt the Turkezilla by himself, he probably be seriously injured or even be killed by one. "I agree with grouping by strength. Two of the strongest in each groups." Azul took a large breath before he continued to speak to the group. "The rest can choose which one they would like to be in." He watched as one of the Fellox jumped around the area. Azul agreed that she should say and be the look out. Trees Azul keep hearing her say. He didn't want to come to close to her, she seem like she had a couple of screws loose. "By the way my name is Azul." The Gyrraptor stepped back unsure if he spoken up to late.

[Soriana]

"Let's just say I have some previous experience with... strategy. If you need a tactical advantage, I'm your man. Feel free to consult with me whenever it's prudent."

Turning to Zeru, he expressed his opinion bluntly. "If you're an above average navigator, then my qualms are naught." Supernatural abilities were one thing--raw talent and common sense were quite another.

Triskelion glanced back at the rest of the group. "If you've got nothing more to say, then we shouldn't waste any more time. Take it from me--planning on the day of a mission should be kept to a minimum. Everything tends to sort out on its own." He took his position on the other end of his fellow Khimera, flanking the kuhnas.

(I doubt there are any NPCs. Draiz did say that at the end of 25 posts, we were to message her, and then she'd tell us whether we rolled a gain or a loss.)

"Nah, it's fine." X waved Stella off. "I'm sure I'm a decent protector. You know, I had to guard my master for years and protect him from his enemies. And if anything threatens my group. I'll kill them."

He had spoken so casually, with no fear, anger or distaste in his voice, like doing such a thing was perfectly natural. And to the Frost Paragon, it was. He had been brought up by a master who had tempered such feelings out of the Paragon to serve his own ends The only words he had put emphasis on was his group. Well... he was the protective type.

"So I guess we're off too then. I hope I do see you guys out on the other end." X said somberly. "So... Is our group, Stella, Chaotic, Zuru, Azul and the Wynd Kuhna? Or was that wrong? Oh... sorry, I can't quite remember your name Kuhna.
But if we're all ready, I guess we should get moving. I heard there's plenty of treasure out there."

Azul listen to the group closely, apparently the first group already formed. So, he was in the second group. As he listened to the first group, the second group still remain quite. When Azul first joined this game, he thought it would be quick, he was wrong once again. "I guess I'll be in the first group?" Speaking loud enough for everyone to hear. Everyone here was confusing him, he didn't know which group he should be in. Tapping one of his large claw toes on the ground as he waited patiently. Azul watched the one called Chaotic, she was a bit odd. He wondered what her back story was.
