Idalani. Most people saw the beautiful falls as a place for love to spawn or to get closer to that special someone. To Tayal, this place had much, much more meaning. Such an area would be a prime place to find new, undiscovered species of animals. The only better place to go would be the high canopy of the Tengel Rainforest, but there were always many people out there looking desperately in hopes of finding a rare Moonling or too. She had packed up as much gear as she could carry or drag behind her in a wagon and set off on her way to the falls the moment she had heard word about some new species that were popping up here and there across both continents. Part of her journey was to try to find the distribution of the animals and how common they were. She didn't care if she got to keep one either. Being able to just make a simple sighting would be enough to please her... at least for a little while.
Carrying so much cargo took a heavy toll on someone when they were working alone though. She'd had to stop many time to catch her breath and already her throat was sore from heaving in ice cold air. For the time being, she took a break under one of the snow covered trees, breaths coming in unevenly. "Maybe.... I shouldn't have... brought this much," she mused to herself as she took her thermos in a pale, dainty hand and took a few drinks of relatively still warm water to sooth her throat.
If someone were to come across her, they might think she was crazy. Most people ran around bundled up in huge coats to insulate theirselves, yet here she sat in just pants and a very light jacket. Not even a scarf! Well, in her mind, a scarf would only get caught on something while she was trying to work. That didn't explain the rest of her gear though.
