Often called the 'Lover's Triangle' for the trio of waterfalls feeding in to a triangular gorge, the Idalani area is a picture-perfect place to spend time with that special someone, with a beautiful exotic backdrop and countless rainbows dancing across the sky. (+2 Speed)

Idalani. Most people saw the beautiful falls as a place for love to spawn or to get closer to that special someone. To Tayal, this place had much, much more meaning. Such an area would be a prime place to find new, undiscovered species of animals. The only better place to go would be the high canopy of the Tengel Rainforest, but there were always many people out there looking desperately in hopes of finding a rare Moonling or too. She had packed up as much gear as she could carry or drag behind her in a wagon and set off on her way to the falls the moment she had heard word about some new species that were popping up here and there across both continents. Part of her journey was to try to find the distribution of the animals and how common they were. She didn't care if she got to keep one either. Being able to just make a simple sighting would be enough to please her... at least for a little while.

Carrying so much cargo took a heavy toll on someone when they were working alone though. She'd had to stop many time to catch her breath and already her throat was sore from heaving in ice cold air. For the time being, she took a break under one of the snow covered trees, breaths coming in unevenly. "Maybe.... I shouldn't have... brought this much," she mused to herself as she took her thermos in a pale, dainty hand and took a few drinks of relatively still warm water to sooth her throat.

If someone were to come across her, they might think she was crazy. Most people ran around bundled up in huge coats to insulate theirselves, yet here she sat in just pants and a very light jacket. Not even a scarf! Well, in her mind, a scarf would only get caught on something while she was trying to work. That didn't explain the rest of her gear though.

"Here, here, here again~" Chaotic happily bounced through the Idalani area, her sister Stella walking behind her as usual. The lighter colored Fellox was surprised that Chaotic seemed clear enough in the head that she actually remembered that they'd been here before and that more than a year ago. The fact that they had gotten almost eaten by a Turkezilla back then, however, seemed to have no impact on her good mood. "I'm heeeere! And jumping! Here and jumping! Jumping and here and waiting to droooown myself in the water agaaaain!"

"If only that would be true...", Stella mumbled to herself. She just hoped that Chaotic's happiness would last or that they at least wouldn't meet others who could possibly get hurt if the insane Fellox would have one of her mood swings. But thankfully, it was very cold and while the Felloxes were protected by their fur, most others would probably stay indoors.

Luck, however, didn't seem to be on Stella's side this day, for just a minute after she had thought that, they saw someone resting under a tree a bit away. Chaotic, of course, was always curious about something out of the ordinary and since they hadn't seen anyone around in quite a few hours, she bounced right over.

"Oooooh! Stuff! Stuuuuuff! Stuffstuffstuff~" The wagon the woman had brought with her seemed to intrigue Chaotic much more than the traveller herself. "Maybe there's chaotic stuuuuuuuuff in there? Stuff!" Chaotic started to jump in circles around the wagon, singing 'stuff' nonstop.

Stella sighed. "I'm sorry about her", she told the woman, noticing her odd way to dress, given the temperatures, but ignored it for the moment. The sooner she could get Chaotic to move on, the better, and she should concentrate on that. "Please just ignore her, she's not right in the head." She turned to Chaotic. "No, there's just boring stuff in there! Let's move on!"

"Noooooo! Stuuuuuuuff!" Chaotic happily continued with her antics.

Stella sighed. Hopefully, the poor woman would just humor them.

Of you and only for you
Your ocean pulls me under
Your voice tears me asunder
Love me before the last petal falls

However cold the wind and rain
I'll be there to ease your pain
However cruel the mirrors of sin
Remember beauty is found within

[ Holy crap... I haven't... joined an Open RP in YEARS. 8|; Hope you don't mind? 8'u Also just to clarify, Abigail is really just a regular red panda (and not a Kuhna). ]

Winter had come so quickly that it had caught her off-guard. The weather had been so finicky that some days felt like summer days, whereas others felt like cold winter days without snow. Thankfully, today was relatively bearable and not as bad as the weather could get. At least they weren't all caught up in a snowstorm.

Despite being a red panda, it was a deceitful appearance. Whether day or night, she slept whenever she was tired and didn't keep to a specific schedule. Despite her animalistic appearance, she was literally a human mind trapped into an animal's body. She could speak, think and feel like a human, and she had been raised with a small group of humans; she wasn't afraid of them. That was why it was always very difficult to adapt to the wild life, since most animal instincts and rituals were completely alien to her.

Still, that didn't mean that she knew everything about the human ways, either. Some things were still unknown to her, and her curiosity always kept her from keeping her nose out of business that had nothing to do with her. It wasn't surprising, then, that when she saw that small wagon, she was intrigued by it. Slowly and carefully, the red panda inched forward towards the wagon, intrigued by it and curious to know what it was. Neck stretched forward, her nose twitched slowly as she sniffed it, entirely oblivious to Tayal's presence; her curiosity was so intense that nothing mattered besides the human object in front of her nose.

[ Ugh just to clarify I was typing and didn't type in consideration of Shieba's reply. ;3; ]

Her short break from her long journey was interrupted what felt like before it was really even started. Still slightly out of breath, Tayal was shocked to see two oddly colored temple Fellox coming her direction. She'd spent a lot of time around pets with the temple fur coloration, but she hadn't seen many that sported only the powerline like markings and not the stone like discoloration of the fur. Not just that, but the one with the blue and white fur had such a dynamic change in coloration toward her feet. It was quite the wonderful display of the counter shading she would expect to see in a wild creature, with the underside a lighter coloration so from below it blended with the sky and darker coloration above so it would blend in with the ground. Its companion though seemed to, oddly enough, be quite the opposite.

She started to stand in order to move closer for a better look at the two, but before she knew it the two were coming directly her way and the darker of the two was jumping about rather oddly. This bizarre behavior led her to believe that genetically there was some defect in the darker of the two, which could possibly be the cause of the peculiar coloration as well. Her musing was quickly thrown aside as she realized what Chaotic was after, thrusting herself to her feet quicker. "W-Wait! It's not safe to mess with that. Please be careful!"

Then, the light one suddenly began talking to her, answering that the other most certainly did have at least something wrong with her. Still, that did not change the dangers of the wagon. Sure, she hadn't set any of the traps, but that didn't mean that the pile of such things possessed no harm. There was always the possibility that during her traveling some of them had gotten jostled and had somehow managed to set, ready to trigger. Thankfully, the majority of them were also live traps, meant to keep from harming the captured creature. An improperly set off trap could still cause harm though.

Looking at Stella, Tayal seemed rather worried. "Is there... anything we could do to get her to.. move away a bit? I'm afraid it could be a bit dangerous if she ends up bumping it or something..." In the commotion of worrying about Chaotic, it seemed that for the time being the woman's eyes hadn't caught sight of Abigail quite yet, though if she were it would certainly quite the sight indeed! She'd seen the Ailur Kuhnas on rare occasions before, but never had seen found proof of the existence of actual red pandas in Evelon.

Stella noticed that the woman seemed to be intrigued by the looks of her and Chaotic - something that did happen sometimes, though she hoped she wouldn't have to answer any questions asked about it since she basically didn't know anything herself. Luckily - or not so luckily? - Chaotic managed to catch the attention of the traveller quite well.

"Dangerous?" Stella frowed. Chaotic was not only her sister, but also her archenemy and she couldn't really care less if Chaotic got hurt, but she really didn't want to trouble the woman or have Chaotic ruin any of her belongings. "Chaotic, get away from the wagon! It's totally not chaotic!"

"Nooooo! I heeeeard what she said! It's daaaaangerous!" Chaotic jumped closer. "Stuff! And dangerous! Dangerous and stuff! Then touching it would be chaooootic! Maybe I can diiiiiie if I touch it? Yaaay~"

Stella glanced at the woman apologetically. "What are we talking about here? Really something that can kill her?" She then looked at Chaotic. "Touching it would be dumb, not chaotic" she corrected her sister. She considered tackling Chaotic out of the way, being quite worried by now, but the chance of causing a mood swing and having then a Chaotic attacking everyone was too great.

"Noooo, it's chaotic!" Chaotic insisted - and then was distracted by the red panda who was also approaching the wagon. "Oooooh! There's someone else heeeere! Sniffing the wagon! Here and sniffing! That's soooo chaotic! I'll do that, tooooo!" And she did, only a bit more forceful - by sticking her whole head right into it, no matter what she was bumping against.

There was no way to put it other than to say that Tayal was utterly confused as to what to do. She wasn't the most socially adept person to begin with, having the most trouble around children, those who acted like children, and those that seemed a bit off their rocker. Chaotic wasn't even a human at that. She was conversing with some Fellox, or rather trying to unsuccessfully. Were Stella not talking to her she'd probably just stammer something to herself, unable to take care of the situation.

She managed to gather herself enough to look at Stella and stammer out, "Well, I... I don't think anything in there is.. large enough to kill something like a Fellox? I mean, I mostly keep live traps. I don't like killing things. It's actually harder to study things once they're dead oddly enough. But.. But... Things could still hurt her. Not kill, but hurt." Oh dear. Oh dear. What should she do, what should she do? The Fellox seemed insistant on getting in to trouble, or rather causing trouble for her. Even if Chaotic didn't get hurt, the Fellox could damage some of her equipment with all the commotion.

As the darker Fellox shoved her face in to the pile of traps, many of the folded tomahawk cage traps started falling from the wagon, directly in Abigail's direction. The clattering of the cages was soon followed by a loud snap as Chaotic's ear managed to brush against a Rattegan trap that had somehow managed to get set during the travel. If she was lucky the metal bar would miss her ears, and if she was unlucky it would soon clam down violently on the soft flesh of the delicate body part. Either way, the tomahawk traps were still falling to the ground below, which quickly caught the woman's attention.

Another item that caught her attention was what they were falling toward. A... red panda? "W-Watch out!" she called out worriedly, rushing forward to try to catch as many of the falling traps as possible. They probably wouldn't fall on her, but after hitting the ground they could bounce off each other and end up hitting her in some way if they didn't.

Despite all the noise that was around, the red panda hadn't caught on to anything. She was so intrigued by the wagon — something she'd never seen from the humans — that the noises were just like muffled sounds to her ears. She wasn't focused enough to make out the words clearly enough to understand what was going on.

But eventually, the words did ring clear into her ears. Her ears perked up when she heard speech, turning around, on edge, wondering who had spoken and if they'd been speaking to her. Suddenly, she realized where she was and that there actually were people around this wagon. Well, it was to be expected, since this was clearly a human object, so it was only natural to expect humans around it. Still, it suddenly came to the red panda that it wasn't only the human woman who'd talked, but also the two foxes that were here as well. She stared at the two Felloxes who could speak like humans, just as she could, baffled that there were animals who had the ability to use human speech.

She was distracted again, longing to approach those two Felloxes — two animals, just like her, who possessed the ability to speak the human language. Not only that, they spoke as if it were a normal thing for them, and nothing out of the ordinary. But she was quickly snapped out of her daydream when the wagon started fidgeting and things started falling down from it. All the panda could do was stare for a while before hearing the human lunge forward to catch some of the traps, but without being able to catch all of them. Scrambling a bit all around, the red panda tried to avoid the traps as best she could, but she couldn't avoid all of them.

She shrieked loudly when one of the cages fell on top of her, big enough not to squeeze her, but small enough to make her feel cramped and trapped — no pun intended. She started shuffling about and all around, trying to squeeze her paws and arms through the bars, shrieking and crying out of fear. Her cries were unlike an actual animal's as well, sounding more like a human moaning and sobbing. Her expression carried a very human-like expression of fear and panic as she continued to struggle, hoping she would eventually managed to get out of this cage.

Chaotic had really managed to cause a mess there, for she was quite unlucky herself and indeed the Rattegan trap snapped close around her ear. She yelped and jumped backwards, probably making a few more traps fall out of the wagon with her sudden movement. However, even the pain caused by the trap stuck to her ear now was, thankfully, not causing her mood to switch. "Owwie! Owwwww! I have a chaotic eeeeearring now! It's miiiine! And huuuuuurts! I'll wear it proudly! And forever! Forever and proudly! Owwww!"

Stella, seeing as Chaotic was still harmless for the moment, completely ignored her sister and instead went to check on the red panda. She had never seen a creature like it before, but that was the least of her concerns right now. Quickly, she tried to helped it to get rid of the cage, though she, too, needed a bit since she only had her paws to work with and the red panda was shaking the trap quite a bit with her frantic attempts to get free. "Calm down!" Stella said even though she didn't know if the other creature would understand her. "I'll help you!" She unhappily looked at the poor woman. "I'm so sorry about all of this! My sister is so horrible!"

Chaotic was, ironically, the happiest of them all right now. The trap was really hurting her, but she still was rather unconcerned by that and also wasn't trying to get it off. Instead, she looked at the wagon some more. "I neeeeeeed an earring for my other eeeeeear..."

"Oh god, no!" Stella grimaced when Chaotic looked like she wanted to dive back into the pile of traps. She didn't know what to do first - trying to distract her sister to stop her from causing more chaos or helping the two innocent people to stop the chaos that was already there.
