Kizzai {53}
"I hope Miss Speranza and Mr. Ikaru are ok after that prank I pulled on them!" The kuni giggled to herself as she remembered the sequence of events.
She'd been at the top of the waterfall doing pretty much the same thing she is now. She only heard their voices but knew it was them. She then decided on pulling the most mischievous prank she had ever done...scaring Ikaru and his mate. Knowing Ikaru and a bit about his past made her endeavor all the more ridiculous. But being an enthusiastic and almost fearless kuni, the idea struck her as marvelous.
She gathered up herself and leaped into the strongest current of the river. Soon as she did so she was already over the cliff. Free falling with the water and resisting the urge to let out a "WOOHOOO!!" That would have blown her cover. She landed with a splash no different from the water tumbling into itself. She had sneaked past the splashing lovers and flopped into the dining area. She had quickly convinced the kitchen staff into agreeing with her plan and had them serve her to the pair under a ceramic cover. The platter was nicely decorated with greens and such. She even gone as far as to have one of the cooks draw fake grill marks on her sides. She only hoped the couple wouldn't take long. After all, she was a kuni out of water.
The looks on the couple's faces were priceless. They were just about to dig in when she opened her eyes and said hi. Poor Speranza fainted and Ikaru was about to curse at the waiter. Instead, he gathered his head and stared at the kuni for a moment before laughing. He went to Speranza's side and commended Kizzai on a prank well done. It was only moments before Speranza awakened and was informed by her mate about the plot. They all laughed and took Kizzai to the water.
In remembrance of that wonderful scheme, the kuni giggled to herself once again before heading up river. Swimming against the current, even in the shallows, was a tiring task but she had been doing this for some time and was starting to get used to it. Every few days she could feel her strength growing. Who know? Maybe one day she'd actually swim up the waterfalls. At this she smiled and giggled some more.
