Iounia sighed as she heard Egad's comment.  To Regalo, she thought, Is she ALWAYS like this...?  It seems like she just enjoys being miserable.  She smiled as the ground rose underneath her, her eyes sparkling.

Kanika sighed as Egads made her comment; "Maybe you'll find it'll go a lot faster if you just be quiet and let her lead the way.  After all, she's never been wrong before, and I know that she knows the Falls like none of us ever will."

Egads let out a small hiss, barely audible, which was odd, since everything seemed loud in these caves. But there was a dull roaring sound... Regalo's eyes widened as his ears caught the sound of water. Moving water. Iounia... wait here. I need to see if it's safe. he thought calmly to her, and carefully sped up, trying to reach the end of the tunnel before the girls. He was forced to come back though, shaking his paws in disgust. The tunnel... we'll have to wade into water to get out. It looks to go down and then up again, because there's partial light below from where I met water. he thought. But there's a catch. To get to the other side of the valley like tunnel... we'll have to totally submerge ourselves, I think. he looked worriedly at Io and the others; he wasn't even sure if he could handle it.

Iounia nodded quietly as she watched Regalo run down the tunnel, and then come back.  Water?  This isn't too good... she said, her face twisting into a grimace of concern.  That doesn't concern me, though, because... well, Father's always told me that I'm like a little fish.  Maybe it's because I'm Hydro-born, and some Hydro-born Kuhnas are more adapted to water.

Kanika also grimaced.  "Water?" she asked.  "This is NOT good... I HATE swimming."

Hmm, that's interesting. Eh, water's alright. I guess I'm a little used to it, seeing as my father was also a Hydrokuhna... he thought, trailing off. He turned towards Kanika. This could be our only way out. We'll have to do this, or stay in this cave until the water reaches us, which it would take a while, but probably will. He looked to the silent Egads. His brow frowned at her, and a scary look entered his eyes.

Egads slumped down. "Fine! Fine. I give up!" she shouted, glaring at Regalo. "I'll go swim down into a hole for who knows how long to who knows where." she hissed.

Kanika sighed as she nodded.  "Okay.  As much as I might not like it... I'm open to swimming." She said.  "I just hate getting my fur to dry without it looking either all matted up or puffy."  Io chuckled lightly as she heard Kanika say this; That's right, I remember now... one time, she fell into a swimming pool when she was a kit and let her fur dry in the sun.  She looked like a Berry puffball for a few days afterwards. She said to Regalo quietly, giving Egads a cold look as she thought, Well, if that wasn't sarcasm, I don't know what is...

Regalo rolled his eyes. You haven't seen the half of the worst of it. She's definatley a prickly one. he thought to Io, while he smiled at Kanika. Don't worry, he thought to Nika, it shouldn't take long. And you'll be fine. If we find any shops, I'll try to get you a brush if your fur does puff out or something. There was no reason not to be kind to Kanika. She was better than Egads, who Reg was mad at but also afraid of. She could be pretty brutal. But she was nice when required.

Well, nicer than usual.

Egads hissed as she listened to the slosh of water up against the cave walls below them. "I hope you know what you're getting us into, Reg. If you don't...!" she said, but was cut off. She had been backing up, and was now sliding backwards down the decline towards the water. "Argh!" she croaked, scrabbling for a hold. She didn't want to plunge into the water so fast, or so suddenly! She knew it had to be cold. Oh, whywhywhywhy-

Her body slid into the water, it's burning cold stinging her nostrils. She shot up, took a gasp of breath, and yelled. "It's cold! Come in slowly!" then went back under. She would find her own way and get out first. Better than staying behind with them.
