"His name is Nazuna..." Xyren spoke, taking a seat beside the water's edge. "I've only met him once, just like you when I was little. I've been told that he's owned by a rather important figure of Evelon though." He knew so little about his father... There was no telling what kind of lucain he was.

Tas tilted her head.  "Nazuna, hm?" She asked, and then shook her head.  "I've... never heard of him." She said.  "But then again, I don't know too many Lucain... I know about 10 other Lucain, five of which live with me; but three are still pups right now."  She sat down next to Xryen, the mist of the waterfall dampening her coat some.

"There's a grand total of eighteen lucain, including myself, in our house right now." Xyren spoke with a sigh. Sure.. it was great to get to know others... but it was over whelming how many were running about the house. Looking at her, he couldn't help but stay happy though. Her pelt seemed to be glimmering due to the light mist. She was so beautiful...

"Ei--Eighteen Lucain?  That's... quite a large bunch of Lucain." Tas said.  "We have a lot of Kuhnas at my trainer's pen more than anything.  She was really excited one day because she managed to get a good trade: A Regal Kuhna for a Trikuhna she'd been going after for a while.  That's only the second time she's traded any pet of hers." She explained, but remembering in the back of her mind how devastated Wyra, their one Calamikuhna, had been when she came back to find her little Hoarfrost daughter traded away.  "Is... there a Calamikuhna kit by the name of Kanak at your trainer's residence, by chance?  Because his father, Ryen, sends him and his Disease Kuhna sibling greetings." She said.

A grin spread across his maw before Xyren gave a small nod. "Yes. Infact, he's under the care of Shotou. She's the preluhna that lives with us. She tends to take in any of the kits that come into our home. There also a little Disease kit that's doesn't quite have a name yet." It was odd how certain pets got about to trainers without them even noticing. To think that he never knew where the two kits had come from.

Tas breathed a quick sigh of relief.  "Ah, good; Ryen was so worried about them." She said, and then added, "The young Disease kit was in the care of the other trainer involved in that breeding, and I believe said kit was a female named Frashill... but I am not sure." She moved a little closer to Xryen, her heart fluttering as she did so.

"If that was her name to begin with, I will let the mistress of the house know that so the little one doesn't change names as so many others have had to from switching trainers." It must have been hard on those who had name changes. They'd have to basicly relearn what to listen to.

His body showed no actions as Tas pulled a bit closer to him, but his heart was beating ever faster, his blood pumping through his veins.

Tas nodded.  "Yes, the little Disease kit was named Frashill, now that I think back on it.  Ryen said that Specter told him that the poor little thing was prone to illness a lot; what, being a Disease Kuhna." She said, a smile playing onto her face.  Her paw gently pawed at the ground, sighing dreamily.

"Thankyou Tas.. I believe that's rather valuable information. Don't want anyone in the house dieing from a sickness that hasn't been treated." Xyren moved a bit closer to her and ran his tongue across her cheek. It was possibly a display of affection, or maybe just a way of showing his gratitude.

Tas was taken aback by the gesture and stammered slightly under her breath, as though she were in shock.  "Y-You're welcome, Xyren." She said, smiling.  "I kinda know how it is, 'cause her father still gets sick from time to time, though he's able to shake it off pretty good on his own." She said.  "Tell me about the other Lucain at your home.  I've never heard of someone owning eighteen or more Lucain before..." She commented, tilting her head.

"Actually, I was wrong earlier. I remmbered just a little while ago that there are nineteen of us now." He let out a small chuckle and continued, "A lot of them are children of, or at least related to Kyuukai. Out of the lucain that have come into the house from breedings, my sister and I are the only ones that didn't come from her. There are a few others that don't have any parents around though."

Come to think of it... who were those lucain's parents? they never talked about them... did they even know them?

"You live with... nineteen Lucain?  Wow.  That is quite a few." Tas said, her blue eyes blinking.  "I live with seven altogether, and all of us are related to my mother, Tali?±a.  Her youngest three pups grew up a couple days ago, and Fire was quite happy to come back from her trip to see more Tali-like Lucain, what; with all the ring-marked Lucain we have now." She commented, sighing.  "I cannot imagine what it would be like to not live with my mother; unlike my mother knows.  She's lived with my trainer since she was a pup.  She was a gift from another trainer to Fire, since she couldn't otherwise get a Lucain." She began to trace one of the Ancient markings on her tail, her blue eyes shimmering.

"Yeah... My mom lives with us, but she's never really around the house often. She's always busy, trying to sort out her memories. For some reason, I guess she fell ill or something, she lost many of her memories..." His paw struck the water, sending ripples through his reflection to disrupt the image. "I look far more like my dad though. Mom has pointed that out already..."

"My mother has told me that I am my father's girl--literally." Tas said.  "And I am sorry about your mother's illness.  I cannot imagine my mother being that way." She added, looking down at the water as it rippled.  In her head, she heard a tiny voice sing, Who is that girl I see; staring straight back at me?  She sighed, then sang quietly, "Why is my reflection someone I don't know?  Somehow I cannot hide who I was, 'though I've tried.  When will my reflection show who I am inside...?" She sighed, then said, "I still cannot believe that that was my past..." She lowered her head, as though some forbidden memory was coming back to her...

"Something wrong...?" the male lucain asked, slowly turning his head to look over at her. He hopped not to bring up anything that saddened her. "If I say something that bothers you, please do let me know..."
