Tas sighed.  "I-in a past life, I was a bard to a King back in an ancient kingdom.  I was the most skilled bard there was in the whole kingdom, and a young Cake Kuhna named Yeesha was his scribe.  Then, one day, I had this wierd dream that a person named Veovis would destroy the kingdom.  The King didn't believe me, and neither did anyone else; even Yeesha.  So, I just sat in waiting, knowing that something horrible would happen.  It was that knowledge that forced me from that great City in the night when another vision overtook me.  I saw one of my dearest friends--a Philosopher to the King--choking in a green smog.  I was foolish and ran back to help him, knowing full well that I was endangering myself.  When I got back, the smog was so thick I could not see.  I began to call out his name, but the only response I got was that of a Venom Fellox, who pinned me down and bit me.  His poison and the smog killed me.

"Then, I was reborn to Tali?±a and Sethor, with Seth and Tala as my older siblings.  Ever since I discovered Yeesha and Ti'ana lived at the Arena, as well as Veovis in reincarnated form, I knew I had to stay, not that Fire would ever give me up." She said, finally stopping to take a breath.  There, she'd told her life story, starting back with her first life several hundred years ago.

The male lucain let his nose brush against the soft pelt of her shoulder. "See..? No one should hate you for the things you are able to do.. Instead they should listen to you rather then ignore you." he spoke softly, nuzzling against her. "Had they listened all of you would have possibly lived..." Yes, he could believe in her story. She didn't seem like one that would lie, not to meantion that he knew such things could happen.

[[Okay... must resist... Gah, what the heck. *Totally helpless romantic switch = ON*]]

Tas seemed surprised as Xryen nuzzled her, and she sighed.  "Any number of things could have happened, and I could have very well saved that whole nation." She said, nuzzling him back.  She smiled, then said, "You're the first one I ever told that to... even my own mother doesn't know that; but Ti'ana, Yeesha, and Veovis all know.  They recognized me, so I knew I wasn't the only one who had lived.  Veovis is kept under lock and key now, for Fire does not wish to take chances."  Here, she sighed again.  She hadn't known she could ever feel this happy...

He stayed close to her, listening to her voice with closed eyes. "Maybe they will learn from their mistakes then." His voice softly spilled through the night air. "Most beings just tend to not believe in things that others can possibly do if they themselves don't have the ability. They should definately know now though to give others a bit more attention." Xyren made sense. While most would either disbelieve her or hate her for her gift, there were a few jewels who would pay attention to her and actually look up to her since she would be able to do something to help.

"Yes... I'm sure they would have learned from their mistakes this time around.  I am just sad that my friend had to die.  He and I were so close..." Tasera said, her eyes beginning to tear up.  "I'm not sure what would have happened to him; to us, if the City hadn't fallen, but I'm sure he is in a better place regardless." She shook her head and put it on Xryen's shoulder.  Her wingblades settled some, but her heart was still beating rapidly.

A soft smile spread across his face as he felt her head rest upon his shoulder. His wingblades were fully at rest and he was rather calm. Xyren definately wanted to be able to see her again... She made him feel whole, as if a great emptyness in him had been filled finally. He didn't know how to ask... but he wanted to see if she's stay with him as her girl.

Tasera smiled happily, her blue eyes reflecting the stars.  She remembered her friend saying that, somewhere out there, there was someone waiting for someone like her to come into their life.  She hadn't believed him; she was more of a loner than the type that would settle down with someone back then.  But ever since she'd been in Fire's care, that had changed.  She realized that Erica, Ryen, E??wyra, and even her own mother all had something she wanted: someone she could rely on to be there for her in the good and the bad, the thick and the thin, the beautiful and the ugly.

"Hey Tas..?" he slowly began, trying to build up the courage to ask her. He took a deep breath and looked down at the water again. "Have you... ever thought of settling down and having a family?" Well, at least he had found a starting point.  It was just awekward for the male.

"I have." Tasera said.  "I have thought of having a family of my own, like so many at my trainer's residence have." She smiled.  Her heart began to race, as though she could figure out what was coming next, but she could never be too sure.

"What would you say about settling down with me? Well... You wouldn't have to really settle down. I don't mind if we travel around together or what." His tails were waving about slowly behind him. To think that Xyren had finally found someone that might actually like him. This would shock his mother thuroughly.

Tasera felt as though she would burst with happiness.  "I--I'd love to settle down with you, whether or not we travel together." She said, smiling broadly and nuzzling Xryen.  Her mother would be so surprised to hear this, as would her father...

His markings began to flare up again, giving off their purple glow as he nuzzled her back, filled with happiness. The glowing of his markings reflected in the water and mixed with the lights around them, making for a wonderful scene. It was a great relief that she hadn't turned him down, for it most likely would have broken his heart enough that he'd never open up to another again.

Tasera smiled happily as she nuzzled Xryen back.  The lights, scenery, everything; it was just perfect.  Her three tails swayed from side to side happily, with one of them wrapping around Xryen's lovingly.  She knew that this kind of person existed, but she hadn't imagined that she would find someone...

"Shall we take a walk?" Xyren asked, trying to think of something for the two of them to do now. His tail tangled with hers when she wrapped it around his. Any human in the area would have probably been staring and exclaiming how cute they were together.

Tasera smiled.  "Of course, I'd love to take a walk." She said happily.  She was kind of glad that neither her mother or Fire were there, for they would be piles of mushiness with affection.  She stood up, stretching out her legs before she would say, "Shall we go?"
