Cimarosa laughed when Akkia did this; she was not laughing in a demeaning way, she was happy that her girlfriend was acting this carefree after their incidents in the Slums.  After all, Akks had just gone from the tough girl who needed the occasional tranq to someone as playful as a puppy in all of a day.

"It's so beautiful here..." Rosa said quietly.

Akkia's tails were curled over her back when she turned to Rosa, leaping from side to side. "Wannaplay?" she said hyperactivley, grinning, her ears flicking back ang forth as her forelock bounced over her eye, her paws wriggling, she looked so much like an overgrown pup, her tounge lolling from her muzzle.

Rosa smiled as she shifted into her Lucain form, her tails waving about happily as she mirrored Akks' moves as she smiled a canine smile, the sun catching on her pelt and making it glisten brightly.  It was these days when she didn't mind having some of the most scorned blood in the Lands in her.

Akkia bounced foreward, patting playfully at the ground infront of Rosa, then lowering her front end so her rear stuck up in the air, looking up at rosa with a grin and a tilted head, then snapping her head up, giving Rosa a quick lick on her chin and then pouncing backwards, her trio of tails wagging furiously.

Rosa smiled as Akkia bounced back and forth a couple times, pouncing forward and back.  When at last she made her move, she pounced forward, missing Akks by just a hair--purposely.  Before she would jump back a couple feet, she also gave Akks a lick on the cheek, her eyes glistening as she waved her tails around, sending prismatic sparkles all over the place.

Akkia sat back on her haunches, grinning and turning into a human, glaring at her playfully, willing her to turn into a human. Her eyebrow arched, the corner of her lip following it as she gazed calmly at her girlfriend.

Girlfriend.

It sounded so right.

Wife sounded better though.

You didn't have to tell Rosa to switch forms twice; she was usually found in her human form; she found it easier to avoid Amethysta and Noail that way--they were still searching for the dark purple Celestial Lucain, not an elegant young woman that always had a sense of class about her.

Akkia shuffled foreward, slowly, then standing and standing infront of her, grinning. She was in a particuarly good mood today, shown by the fact she was now giving Rosa a full-blown kiss. Eventually she pulled away, smiled, and blushed. "Sadly, that wasn't my first kiss, Paranoia gave me my first one when I first came to the pen. It was a scary moment. Imagne it, knocking on the door, then a woman, beautiful, sure, dives out at you and drags you into a passionate kiss."
Akkia blinked for a few moments.
"It was nice, sure, but scary too." She grinned again.

Rosa's eyes widened as she was pulled into the kiss; she had never been given a proper, full-on kiss before, so she was quite shocked.  Sure, her mother and male relatives all gave her tiny pecks on the cheek when she was little, but that was a long time ago.

"I don't mind that at all." Rosa said, smiling.  "You're my first kiss, that should make up for what this Paranoia did to you." She laughed slightly as she said this.

The dalma's silent footfalls echoed through the forest as it stayed on the edge of it, watching as his prey and her lover kissed, watching closley, always watching. Don't attack yet, soon, soon, we attack soon, yes, then I can rip her apart, yes, then I can eat her, yes, then Luw can get the money, yes....
But he didn't want her dead, nono, he wanted her alive. He wanted her to bear more children. "Corff!" the Relowockee hissed, bringing the dalma back to reality. "Prey..." The dalma whined. "I know, I know." the Relowockee purred.

"Did you hear that?" Akkia asked gently, looking about for any signs of danger. She swear she heard someone talking. It didn't feel right here, ither....

However, Rosa's attentions were on something different altogether.  Sure, she had heard the strange hissings, but that wasn't all she heard.  "I'm afraid I do hear that, Akks... but that's not all I hear..." she said, her voice quivering as she said this.  Something just didn't seem right...

Rosa was right to be afraid, too.  From the opposite direction that Corff and Luw were approaching came two deathly familiar--and deadly--people to the Celestial Lucain.  Or rather, a deathly familiar Battleheart and Albie.  The Battleheart grinned maliciously.

"Why am I not sssurprisssed to sssee her out here, in the Fallsss?" she hissed, looking down at the small Albie.  "We mussst catch the Musssical One thisss time... otherwissse you know the penalty."

"Yes, Mistress." The Albie said, almost robotically.  She and a few others had let Rosa get away before, and now that her Mistress was angry at her, she had to prove that she was worth keeping around... otherwise, poor Noali would be horridly out of luck.

So this is where the twosome from the Cathedral had led him. Didn't seem to be much of a place for a death to occur; however, his instincts weren't denying him now. Someone was going to die, or at least come close to it. And if he guessed right, the dalma and relowockee would have something to do with it.

As if the four hunters already here weren't enough, yet more rustling announced the presence of a fifth. One would have to look really, really hard in order to catch the movement in the undergrowth north of the approaching dalma, relowockee, battleheart, and albie, but it was guaranteed someone was there.

Try though he might, the only thing the dark-colored male lucain was able to do about the noise he was making was curse in his mind about it. As an Angel of Death, he had made an art out of remaining silent. No sense in psyching out those who were to die by making a loud entry, anyway.

It didn't take him long to reach the location where the death was too take place. At this point, Malum stopped, the only sign that he was present were the few markings that stood out against his mostly dark coat - namely, his Warrior and X markings - and his red eyes.

He studied the pair of female lucain as they talked and kissed. Must have been lovers. Shame, then, it would be, because one of these two would be the one to have her life cut short....

"PREY!" Corff screamed. "Corff!" Luw yelled after him as he bolted from the undergrowth. "The hell?" Akkia sked, then froxe as she saw the Relowockee and Slaughter dalma charging for her. "RUN!" She screamed at Rosa as the small creature barrled into her, sending her flying backwards. The dalma stood on Akkia's chest, laughing manically. Akkia gripped it by its neck, got up with a bit of a struggle and threw it. She brought her arm back, twisted her torso and threw the dalma by the neck. Luw then came barreling at her, knocking her into a tree with her rather hard head. Possibly crushing a rib or two.

Corff sprang up, feeling a sharp pain run through his spine, but that simply made him giggle as he pounced over to Akkia, clawing at her face, Luw keeping her pinned to a tree, She helplessly batted at the dalma on her face, yelping as its teeth connected at times, and yelping louder when Luw dragged a claw down her leg, every once in a while.

Rosa blinked as a Slaughter Dalma and a Relowockee suddenly entered their oh so quiet haven, intruding on their moment of peace.  When Akks told her to run, she hesitated.

THAT was a mistake in and of itself.

"Get her!" another voice shouted, one that Rosa could have sworn was familiar.  When she realized who it belonged to, she literally felt her stomach sink as she convinced herself not to switch forms this instant and attack the Cursed Albie that was attacking her now.

Wait... what?!  Hadn't she ditched this party back at Basantha?  Nevertheless, she instantly leapt into action, punching at the Albie and clawing at her with her long fingernails.  All the while, Amethysta stood back and watched; if Noali failed, then she would enter.

That was quick. One second there was just the two females, the next, one was pinned against a tree by that relowockee and getting beat up, and the other was fighting an Albie.

A smirk crossed the angel's face. Perhaps he'd claim more than one life today. Slowly, he emerged from the bushes, but kept his distance. He didn't want to get caught up in that maelstrom of fighting. He was here for one purpose only - and that was to kill whoever it was that was going to die. Not that he wasn't a capable fighter, but it was probably best to stay out of it for now.

Although now Malum was clearly visible, he didn't think anyone would notice his presence, seeing as they were occupied on other matters.
