Yes, I have finally found the one for me.  You'll love him too, I am sure.

So, it is my dearest wish that you would please come out her to Idalani.  Please, do bring Takuma and Brandy along as well; and tell them that they are free to bring their children as well.

Of course, Tali wasn't the only one who'd written a note.  Tasera had sent one out to Xryen, reading: "Xryen,

Mother has us out here in Idalani for a meeting with my grandparents and other extended family; and this will be the first time I will have seen any of them.  Since we are lifemates now, I think 'tis only appropriate that you come out here and meet them too.  I hope you can come!  [And don't worry about pranksters.  My mother can chase them off with just a glance.]

The party of Lucain walked out to the Falls, Tali?±a following behind everyone else so as to stay with Sethor.  She smiled happily, knowing that her parents would approve of the pairing.  Tasera would sigh dreamily, while Galen, Alexa, and Areia woul stare at both Tas and Tali with great envy.

Dios strode in his usual quiet manner over to the falls where the letter had informed him to go. It was a very pleasant surprise for him to receive a letter from Tali?±a; although he was her father, he had scarcely seen her since her birth. So, of course, upon reading the letter requesting him to come to a family reunion, he could not refuse, his accommodative nature aside. He expected to see many other Lucain at this reunion, probably more than would actually show up; he tended to blow his number of grandchildren way out of proportion, and he felt quite old about it.

Dios's other daughter, Brandy, walked alongside him. She hardly got to see her sister any more than he did, and was delighted to come along. She couldn't wait to congratulate Tali?±a on finding a lifemate; Brandy had only been in one breeding, herself, and that male had a lifemate that he was going to join once his waiting list was clear. Admittedly, she was a bit jealous of her sister, as well. She hoped to find a lifemate of her own someday...

Trotting excitedly between Dios and Brandy was Brandy's little daughter, Bloom. She wasn't quite fully grown yet, just enough that her purple Sundancer markings showed. Bloom looked much smaller than she was, though, while walking next to Dios, who was a bit large for a Lucain. She looked up at her grandfather in admiration; she was the only grandchild Dios got to help raise, and the two of them were very close to eachother. Bloom couldn't wait for this family reunion to go into full swing- or at least, as full a swing as it could. She had heard her mother being told to bring her children, but Bloom's brothers were with another trainer, and they had not been invited. For a moment she wondered why, but decided to shrug it off in favor of anticipation.

Sethor hadn't sent out letters, but his children had been informed and all of the ones that lived with Max had come to the reunion-except for Metare, who was never anywhere that Sethor could find him. He personally had come from Wilt'no to meet his lifemate's family. Speaking of his lifemate, she was walking beside him and he was perfectly happy to walk beside her, nuzzling her occasionally and returning the smile she gave him.

Tala walked slightly in front of Sethor, also with her own lifemate, and her first breeding partner, Rysk, a very adventurous Lucain who'd been fine with taking a Lovely Love potion and essentially being a guinea pig for the effects on two female Lucain. She'd also been able to convince the very nervous Tala to be her lifemate. Tala still wasn't quite sure how that had happened, although she certainly was glad it had.

Seth, meanwhile, a chip off the metaphorical old block, was just glad that his sister had found love so that he wouldn't have to sit through the incredibly painful experience of watching her flirt with male Lucain. He, like his father, was not particularly concerned about finding love- hopefully, also like his father, it would come to him.

Metare...what are you up to? Aerik'ith thought, brow furrowed as she entered the area. Her deviant brother wasn't there, of course, but what she was really concerned about was his actions in Lamenolai. Something was, as Hamlet would say, rotten in the state of Denmark, and she'd find out what. But she'd deal with that later. Right now was a time for meeting her family.

"Looks like you've got a pretty large family." The common feyline spoke, looking about at the many lucain around them. She was used be being aroung many lucain since there were many different lucain there... But still... Just for a family reunion this was rather large. Her tails gave a small flick as she continued to look about. Her eyes widened when they landed on a certain male lucain. "Why... is Xy here...?" she muttered to herself.

Of course Xyren would be there. He had after all asked Tasera to spend her life with him. The oddly colored male stopped and looked around the crowd of lucain until his eyes fell upon Tas. "Ah. There you are." he spoke softly before trotting over to her.

Tali?±a nuzzled her lifemate again and smiled again.  Then, she looked around, smelling a slightly familiar scent on the air.  When her eyes landed on her father, sister, and niece, she smiled.  "Hey, Dad.  Hey, Brandy.  How's life been for you guys?" She asked, smiling.  "And who's this little beauty?" She asked, looking over at Bloom.

Galen was the first to approach Dios, the scar over his left eye still in its healing stages.  "Hello... I'm Galen." He said, smiling.  "I'm the second eldest son of Tali?±a, and brother to Haseo, Mateus, and Fleur." His eyes, though only one could see, looked at the three Lucain curiously.

Tasera smiled as she nuzzled Xryen.  "Well, welcome to the family, I guess I should say." She said, looking at her brother and sister.  "Well, well; if it isn't my two older siblings.  How's life?" She asked, smiling before looking over at Sethor.  "Hey Dad." She said as Alexa sat there and said, "I'm Alexa... I'm the only one from my family that could come..." Areia walked over to Bloom and said, "Hello.  I'm Areia, daughter of Nationvoice and Takuma.  I guess that makes us cousins?" She smiled, sitting down in from of Bloom.

Tala nodded, slightly surprised. "Yeah... I knew I had a big family, but I didn't know it was THIS big... mom must have been busy-ow!" her last sentence was punctuated by Sethor smacking her over the head. "Don't talk about your mother that way." he said, smiling at Tasera. "Good afternoon, Tasera. How have you been faring?" Tala smiled. "How do you think, dad, just look at her and Xyren." looking at Tasera, she grinned wider. "I've found a lifemate, so life's going pretty well." she said, leaning happily against Rysk.

Sethor looked appraisingly at Xyren, then smiled. "I wish you two luck." he said, glancing back at Tali?±a. "Well, are you going to introduce me to your illustrious father?" he asked playfully.

Seth glanced at Xyren and raised a brow. "Are you related to Rysk, by any chance?" he ventured. He didn't often see two-toned wingblades, although his half sister Aerik'ith possessed them. Glancing over at Tasera, he grinned. "Hey Tas. Been busy finding this guy, have you?" he teased, looking back at Xyren.

Aerik'ith padded over to Alexa. "I find myself in the same situation." she said, smiling at her half sister. Or was it one quarter sister, since they didn't actually share a parent? Stepsister, maybe. Whatever the case was, her sister in some degree. "Metare, as always, is absent, and my other two sisters related to dad were unable to show up."

Rysk let out a small sigh. "And here I was thinking that I'd be free of him for a while..." she muttered, more or less to herself. She loved her brother dearly, but there were times that it just seemed as though he was just a bit too over bearing. He was always keeping her from taking risks that she wanted to.

The black and purple male gave a small nod, sitting down on his haunches. "Yes. She's my little sister." He seemed to look a lot more like their father though, even seeming to have a purple glow about him. It was amazing how much he had taken after his father. "And I take it that you are in turn related to Tas."

Yin trotted up to Tali?±a, Takuma with her. "Sorry we're late. I had some pen matters to attend to and Takuma didn't know the way," she said apologetically.

"Michael's off escorting two girls from the pen, so he couldn't come," Takuma said. "He asked me to give you his regards." His tails wagged a bit, happy to see his sisters. He wished Michael could be here. "Hopefully, he'll come by later."

Dios smiled gently at Tali?±a and replied, "Hello." Brandy replied similarly, but Bloom was too shy at first to say anything. "I suppose life's been well..."

Brandy nodded in agreement. "Very well, I think." She smiled when her sister asked about Bloom. "That's my daughter," Brandy replied proudly, sticking out her chest a bit. "Her name is Bloom. Say 'hi' to your auntie, sweetie..."

The little female looked up at Tali?±a and grinned. "Hi, Auntie Tali?±a!" She trotted her feet excitedly for herself at knowing Tali?±a's name and adding it to her greeting. She was also happy to receive a compliment, of course.

Dios nodded to Galen and smiled back politely. "It's nice to meet you, Galen... Woah," he added, once Galen was finished describing himself. "I'd like to get to know all my grandchildren sometime..." Honestly, he only really knew Bloom.

Bloom immediately smiled broadly at Areia, glad to be approached by someone she hadn't met yet. "I guess so! I'm Bloom, daughter of Brandy and Regionbell!" This was likely obvious, as she was following her mother and looked more like her father, but she had decided to state it anyway.

Dios's ears perked when he heard Sethor speak of him. He looked over at Tali?±a and Sethor tentatively, wondering if he should introduce himself or wait on Tali?±a to. Fortunately for him, Yin had arrived, so he at least had an excuse to not introduce himself. He stepped over to Yin and Takuma and grinned. "Hello, Honey..." He nuzzled Yin lovingly, glad to see her again. "And hello to you, too, Takuma," he added. "My, how you've grown..."

Tali smiled.  "Well, that's good." She said, and then, she said, "Dad, this is Sethor, my lifemate." She smiled broadly, and then to Tala, she said, "Lay the blame on the trainer, my dear.  Lay the blame on the trainer."  When she saw Yin, she smiled.  "Hey Mom!" She said, grinning.  "Oh, and it's no problem.  I had to convince Galen to come out here." She said, remembering how she'd stopped back at the Arena to drag her son out here with her.

Areia smiled, and then, she spotted her father.  "Dad!" She said, grinning and walking over to him.  "I'm so glad to see you again!" She exclaimed, and then, she looked back at Bloom.  "Hey, Regionbell and Nationvoice are siblings too!" She said, grinning.  "So, we're really closely realted."

Galen looked over at Alexa, who said, "My brothers and sister were all otherwise occupied, and one of them went to live with Areia's old trainer."  Shrugging, she said, "I guess we're stepsisters.  I'm Alexa."  Galen smiled as he turned to Yin and Takuma.  "Hey Grandmother.  Hello, Uncle Takuma.  How goes things for you guys?"

Tasera chuckled.  "Yes, she's my older sister." She said to Xy, smiling.  "I never thought I'd get to meet your sister." She added, nuzzling him again.

Yin smiled and nuzzled Dios. "Hello, Dios," she said happily, tails wagging now.

Takuma smiled. "It's good to see you, Father," he said. So formal, even around family... Where did he get that from? He noticed Areia. "Areia! My, you've grown up to be so pretty," he said. "I'm so glad to be able to see you!" he nuzzled her. "You and your brothers are all so good-looking. You got that from your mother,"

"Oh, but you're pretty good-looking yourself, Takuma," Yin pointed out.

"Am not!"

Hearing his cue, Dios stepped back over to Tali and Sethor. He dipped his head a bit to get a good look at his daughter's lifemate, and he scrutinized Sethor in a way that was most unusual for him. "Hm... It's good to finally meet you, Sethor," he said eventually, bowing his head. "You seem like a good male... And it looks like you've taken care of Tali?±a so far," he noted with satisfaction. "Now, just keep that up," he said, but not in an unfriendly way.

Bloom giggled. "And Brandy and Takuma are siblings...! We must be... double-cousins," she concluded. She saw nothing odd about it, besides how odd the coincidence was.

Brandy chuckled and prodded Takuma with a paw. "Don't be silly, Takuma... You're better looking than I am, at least. Just look at how plain I am," she said, though in jest rather than self-pity. She couldn't ever resist teasing her brother a little bit.

Sethor nodded seriously and dipped his head. "Thank you. I will endeavour to do so." looking up, he grinned. "And it's nice to meet you too, Dios." he added. "Or do you just want me to call you Dad?" turning to Yin, he bowed again. "And hello to you, Arimiya." Okay, he might have been turning up the charm a bit for Tali?±a's parents, but it was important to make a good first impression.

"Yeah, yeah, sure mom, blame it on the trainer- ow! Dad!" She glared at Sethor rubbing her head. Glancing back at Rysk, she blinked. "Free of him?" she asked. "What, is your brother a pest too?"

Seth poked his tongue out at Tala before turning back to Xyren. "Yeah, Tas is my little sister. So you're my little sister's lifemate, and your little sister is my big sister's lifemate?" Seth laughed. "Have any other sisters that could be my lifemate, by any chance?"

"Nice to meet you, Alexa. My name is Aerik'ith." said Aerik'ith, smiling at her stepsister. "Is it true that you were spending some time with Dad in Wiltno?"

Tali?±a smiled.  "Of course he'll take good care of me, Dad.  And Tala, I say 'blame the trainer' because the trainer in question was able to abort 3 of my last 4 breedings... and now, she's promised to stalk the rooms for Sethor's trainer." She said, and then, turning to her siblings, she said, "Hey, take it easy on the teasing.  You both have your areas of good looks."  Galen chuckled, saying, "Mother's right, Aunt Brandy.  There's only so many colors that silver goes well with... brown being one of them.  Now, darkish purple and dark teal..." Here, he chuckled.  "That could be debated."

Areia blinked, tilting her head.  "But Dad, I got both of your markings..." She said, giggling.  Turning back to Bloom, she nodded.  "I guess you could say that too!"

"What about me?" A tiny little voice asked from behind a bush.  Alexa turned around, her ears flat against her skull, and walked toward the bush.  "Mother!  It's Cimarosa." She said, and the little black pup walked out from her hiding place.



"Do you ALWAYS have to do that, Alexa?" Cimarosa said, walking over to Tali.  "Sheesh, just ruin my fun... I could've very well stayed home listening to Fire's concertos..."  Tali smiled.  "Now, Rosa... Come on.  These are your grandparents," she said, pointing towards Yin and Dios.  "...your Uncle Takuma and your Aunt Brandy..." She pointed again towards the respective Lucain.  "...Galen, Alexa, Seth, Tala, Aerik'ith, and Tasera, your half- or step-siblings... and, of course, Sethor, my lifemate." At this, Tali?±a finally stopped to take a breath.

"Wow... Hi everyone!" Cimarosa said, smiling.  Alexa turned back to Aerik'ith and said, "Yes, I was in Wilt'no for a little bit with Mother and Sethor... I haven't quite gotten my mind wrapped around the term 'father' yet, so please forgive me..." She said, sighing.  "So... how is everyone?"

Sethor looked over at Tali?±a, smiling. No doubt having his lifemate head over heels for him would help him make a good first impression. Straightening up from his bow to Tali?±a's mother, he nuzzled her momentarily, before giving Tala a severe look before she said any more about Tali?±a's large amount of pups. Honestly, children these days. No respect for their elders...

...he really was getting old if he was thinking that.

Tala nuzzled Rysk as she watched Cimarosa's entrance, obviously thinking of her and her lifemate's pups. She was going to have a privilege that her mother didn't- all of her pups would be Rysk's, and all of Rysk's pups would be hers. Neither of them had lists.

Seth looked over at Cimarosa as well, raising an eyebrow. Another little sister, huh? Well, little half-sister. But still, why were most of his siblings female? Come to think of it, he and Metare were the only two male children Sethor had ever had...

"I am fine, Metare's an enigma, and father's in heaven." Aerik'ith said, laughing and watching Cimarosa say hello to the congregation of Lucain.
