Zeira, Female Glacial Werecain

The glacial werecain was back in here again, her oldfashioned lantern re-lit and her energy revived. The concept duraculi had came with her, but their friend, Willow, couldn't coplete their group this time. Just as well, too many 'round might scare off any akails, and they wanted to find one, not fend it off.
Gail wasn't normally as active as Zeira or Willow, but the occasional adventure wouldn't do her  harm. And she was one of the few in the Meadow who had actually seen the void who lives in their own caverns.  Yes, truely meeting one of those interesting creatures would be a pleasure.

Majimono had finally returned to Craiss Caverns, it had been a hectic week or so back at the zoo and so she hadn't been able to return as quickly as she had intended originally intended to, as she passed into the caverns she spotted Zeira and a Concept Draculi ahead of her. Maji was visibly bristling about something and walked with a purposeful stride. As she drew near to Zeira she nodded a greeting to her and looked speculatively at the Draculi.

Behind Maji was a Dreamsnare Yonyuu, he bounced through the entrance with a big smile on his face, most likely this was Yume the friend that Maji had mentioned last time, it seems that this time she had no objections against his joining them on the hunt.

Zeira nodded her greeting. "Took us both a while to get back here, didn't it? This is Gale, a friend of mine." the werecain commented and introduced her friend.
The yonyuu seemed odd to Zeira already. Then again, the dreamsnares at the Meadow were normally silent, calm, and seemingly emotionless. So one who was grinning and bouncing like this was, infact, out of the ordinary to any who didn't know any but the Meadow's odd group.
The duraculi flicked her tail boredly, but eyed the new comers in interest. "You are the ones Zeira 'splained us traveling with?" She asked, though in the way she knew the answer, and without caring much for word choise or grammar.

Maji nodded guardedly at Gail as she was introduced, "This is Yume" she tossed her head toward the Yonyuu who promptly bounced up to Zeira and Gale and bowed to them both with a sweep of his wings. "Don't mind her" he told them both "There's a new Invert Mew Reaper at the Zoo who has taken it into his head that he can order everyone else around aaaand Maji doesn't like it", lowering his voice he told them "It's made her particularly hostile towards felines" behind him Maji muttered angrily "Zoo Manager indeed!". "I'll keep her under control, don't worry. I'm looking forward to this hunt, where shall we begin?" Yume winked at Gail.

Gail snickered at the idea of a little Myuu Reaper bossing everyone around. They did have delilah... She couldn't command the most submissive mutt. She fail trying to kill it before it had the chance to obey a simple command. "Yeah. We have a Reaper 'round." She said, still snickering at the idea, "Quite the whack job, she is."
Zeira wasn't too impressed by the news though. Maji not being happy around felines might put some stress on their small mission. She could only hope that it wouldn't "Yeah," She answered Yume, waking from her thoughts by his question, "I 'spose we should head out."
Gail nodded, about starting down the path ahead of the rest. She was atleast pretending to be oblivious to Yume's gesture.

Yume bounced along after Gail, stopping every now and then to sniff at stones. Maji joined them at a more sedate pace, she in truth had been looking forward to rejoining Zeira on another hunt, and if it hadn't been for the new 'Zoo Manager' would have left the Zoo much sooner even if it had meant starting the search without Zeira and her friend. Slowly she started to relax, allowing herself to enjoy the time that she had away from the Zoo and the chaos and confusion that the Invert Myu Reaper had plunged it into.

Finally she spoke up "So, we have four tunnels left to explore, wasn't it?" she directed at Zeira, moving a bit nearer to the Werecain that she had grown to find as an interesting companion during their last hunt.

Off to a quick start, Zeira had headed towards one that they hadn't explored. Her ears twiched back as the fenling asked her a question. Four. Yeah, that sounded about right. The werecain mentally counted up what they had found, "Yeah. It was four."
Gail had fallen slightly behind Zeira, not knowing exactly where to go and not wanting to lead aimlessly. She was excited byt the expedition, sure, but she wouldn't show it. She also wondered slightly at the age of the yonyuu who was behind the group. He was so bouncy and puppy like. Then again, plenty of the yonyuus she'd met acted like such. The others were all mean or atleast distant. Maybe the two extremes were just something that species had...

Maji realised that Zeira was leading them towards the tunnel which she had scouted out last time, this particular tunnel was the one that Maji had thought looked to be a dead end, 'Well that makes sense' she thought to herself, 'deal with the most likely quickest tunnel first before moving onto another'.

Yume had begun trotting around Maji in wide circles, his long legs allowing him to move quickly with ease, somehow his presence helped to calm her; neither she nor Yume understood how, but it was probably something to do with her having known him ever since he was a little baby pup when she was only a young cub herself. Yume was a couple of years younger than Maji - around about the same age as Zeira even though he often acted like a child. Spying the tunnel entrance ahead of them Yume took an extra high leap and spreading his wings glided ahead of the others towards it.

Zeira followed the yonyuu with her eyes as he swiftly passed them, but she made no move to adjust her own speed. If they found themselves walking as long as they did on their last trip, she'd want to save her energy.
Even though this tunnel had last been thought to be a dead end, it was worth a try. If it was a dead end, they could cross it off their list and be done with it. Or her secretly imagionative mind would be right and the cave was such that it made you think that unless you entered it and they were actually on the right track.
Just vaguely, Gail could tell it was getting darker. Her feline eyes didn't notice a problem with that, but she had never quite loved any cave, though she couldn't think why. It almost made her wonder why she'd come along. But perhaps they would reach their goal and it would be all worth their time.

Yume landed just inside the tunnel entrance, the darkness of the tunnel did not faze him his keen eyes pierced through it, seeing all the way back to what seemed to be a dead end. He loped into the tunnel looking around at everything. Nearing the back he was about to call out that the tunnel was nothing more than a cave when he noticed a darker patch of black behind some rock that jutted out into the tunnel a few feet from the 'dead end'. Despite his keen sight this area was such a deep black that he could make out no detail of a rock wall.. or maybe it was so dark because there was no wall? "Zeira my dear, would you be so kind as to bring that lantern nearer?" he turned to look back at the Werecain as he called to her in a very polite and formal manner very much different to how he had spoken earlier "It seems this may not be a dead and after all!".

Meanwhile Maji had seated herself at the entrance watching the others with her own keen eyes, she let Yume get on with it, after all he was a natural caver unlike herself so who else better to sniff out the lair of the Akails?

Zeira's ears twitched as Yume called to her. She was unused  to being spoken too politely, due to her lack of talking to anyone else in such away, but it didn't have much of an effect on her mood like it would to some others. Not right now, anyways, she was more intreiged by the idea of the shallow cavern not being a dead end. Wouldn't the Akail want to live somewhere no one would think to look, like a 'dead end' tunnel?
A bit of hope sprang from this idea and her walk turned into more of a small trot to see the area.
Gail followed close behind. At first she picked up speed with her canine friend, but then slowed down to a more careful pace. If you were looking for something dangerous, you should be ready to meet something dangerous. She remembered hearing that somewhere, and it made since to her.

As Zeira came nearer with her tail lantern it became very obvious that the patch of blackness was indeed a continuation of the tunnel which was rather well hidden, Yume began prancing on the spot in excitement - he didn't get to go adventuring very often and caves were particularly fun as far as he was concerned. By the entrance Maji's attention was thoroughly fixed on the others, she had honestly expected the cave to be a dead end, after a couple of minutes she picked herself up and began to walk slowly after them, purposefully keeping a distance between herself and the feline, on her face was a very distracted expression showing that she was deep in thought.

Zeira kept her eyes on the ground and sinces alert for any signs of life. She didn't expect there to quite be anything till further in, but the werecain didn't want to miss anything either. But the werecain didn't see any branches yet. It was appearing to be a long, single tunnel. At least for the time being.
Even Gail seemed to be excited at the intro to their exploration, though her flicking tail proved that she didn't normally like caves all that much.

Maji trailed along behind the group, as she walked she couldn't help but think about the 'zoo manager' back home as there was little else to keep her attention from it, a grimace slowly formed on her face and she cast her eyes about quickly and angrily. Ahead of her Yume was having lots of fun, so much so that he seemed to have forgotten about Maji for the time being and was unaware of her quickly darkening mood. He was walking (and bouncing every now and then) alongside Zeira he was gibbering on at her about all sorts of nonsense not caring whether she was listening or not or even that she was trying to concentrate on finding traces of Akails - it probably wouldn't be long before she got driven nuts by him.

"..Now where was I?... Oh yes the dream - I get a lot of those by the way, though i'm sure you must know that me being a Dreamsnare and all, but we don't all get dreams oddly enough... or at least some of us don't get them very often... So yes the dream, well what happened was..." all traces of his posh voice had been replaced by an excited sounding puppyish voice and he was speaking quite quickly so that sometimes you just couldn't understand what was saying.

The yonyuu seemed to have found a place next to Zeira and was talking nonstop. It was kind of reminding her of Willow's sister she was so used to being near. That goody-goody imperial would leave the friends alone when willow was with them. It took a while to for the werecain to get annoyed, but she tried to stay calm when she did. She'd known some creatures who were nice and overly hyper at first, but when you snapped at them, they would snap back twice as bad. She didn't want this one to be one of them. "Please be quiet. We don't want to fend off the Akails we're looking for."
The duraculi was starting to get bored. She knew all this about you havta be patient, what you're looking for won't come right away. But it didn't matter much. Her patience was low. That was common knowledge. It wasn't hard to notice her tail twiching harder, or her glancing around nervously, remembering that she had volentarialy come to explore a cave.
