Gail let out a snort of suppressed laughter. Surprised by slipping? It was an odd sign when one so observant and graceful would randomly slip. But the duraculi didn't think too much into it.
But then Maji kept on talking. And yes, the fenling described the cave quite well actually. But because of this obvious direction of the conversation, Gail knew where the fenling was trying to get. She couldn't let the little fox-like demon have this pleasure. No, that would be admitting defeat, admitting weakness. Girls of the same nature of Gail or even Zeira went against their very nature to do such things. They had a reputation to keep. Even so, her tail begain to twitch wildly, and she glanced around more often, trying to remind herself that there was nothing in this cave which would hurt her. No monsters except the Akail, which didn't scare her at all, it wasn't going to cave in, she was fine...
"Oh, be quite Maji. You're not helping any of us." Zeira butted in. It wasn't for her friends sake. one like Abigail could take care of themselves and face their own fears. But between the darkness, the cold, and the ghoulish humming, the werecain had found herself slipping slowly back into her normall, irritable, teenage attitude. She wanted it quiet, and she wanted to find an Akail, which ment it probably needed to be quiet anyways. But knowing this crowd, that was probably not going to happen.
You may call, you may call
But the little black cats won't hear you.
The little black cats are maddened
By the bright green light of the moon;
They are whirling and running and hiding,
They are wild who were once so confiding,
They are crazed when the moon is riding
You will not catch the kittens soon.
They care not for saucers of milk,
They think not of pillows of silk;
Your softest, crooningest call
Is less than the buzzing of flies.
They are seeing more than you see,
They are hearing more than you hear,
And out of the darkness they peer.
With a goblin light in their eyes!
