Kyune strolled down the crystal caverns, looking only straight ahead. But ye must not be fooled, for all the rest of his amazing senses were alert to danger. The crazy, hyperactive Serraptor behind him bolted around, checking every nook and cranny. Of which there were little, the area was smooth and clean. If one was not careful, he could slip.

"Do you think we'll see an Akail?!" Veloc asked, for what must've been the fiftieth time. Now, he was intelligent, genius even, but with his crazyness it was hard to tell.

"If we do, it will not be in one of those cracks." Said Kyune, without an ounce of humor in his voice.. He didn't much care if they found an Akail. Part of him wished to finally see one, but the other part dreaded a fight, if things went that way.

Besides, he preferred to be alone. Veloc was ruining the peace of this beautiful cavern. He heard a sound that sounded rathher like talons slipping on the floor.

Sure enough, seconds later a good-sized serraptor barreled into him, sending them both down in a mass of claws, teeth, ice, and fire. They hit a wedge, which painfully separated them. Kyune howled, but Veloc sounded like he was having the time of his life. He slid up and around, managing to hit Kyune again, sending them both tumbling into an off-slide. Kyune slid along, managing to stand up anyways. Veloc was content to slide down on his bottom, doing loops around the calm Fellox. Eventually they hit the bottom, where they were met with piles of bones.

While Kyune was looking around, he heard a tune, a good tune, playing on the bones. He swiveled around, his tail flaring, only to realize that it was Veloc playing the drums with some bones and the cavern wall.

"Veloc! Don't you think were should be looking for a way out, instead of playing Yankee Doodle on femurs?" He asked, and the raptor reluctantly stopped. "Blah! You're no fun!" He said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"We aren't here to have fun, we are here to find an Akail!" He retorted, and they began searching for a way out.

Arya walked down the trail.  A day or two ago Thalia had come back with a new member to the falls' family, and now she really needed some peace.  The road seemed to lead into a cave's mouth.  "Hm, wonder where that leads?"  she thought.  Arya had to keep telling herself not to head back to check on Thalia.  Plus she could have sworn that she just heard something.  "Well, it can't hurt to see what's going on." she mumbled to herself as she headed into the cave.

Veloc tapped on a portion of the crystal wall. It looked just like the other bits of wall, but he suspected differently. His suspicions were confirmed by the sound. Like it was wafer-thin.

"Hey, Kyune!" He said to the fellox, who was on the other side of the room. He looked up at the sound of his name. "Come and blast a hole through this door, will ya?"

Kyune walked up, his twin tails pointed forward. He waited for Veloc to get out of the way, then let loose an inferno of blue fire. It struck the crystal in a dazzling display of reflections and embers, bursting through the other side in a mere second. The blue flames had caught onto the outer walls of the hole, but soon went out.

He grunted, and walked forward, forward into the darkness with Veloc close in tail.

Just as Arya entered the cave, she heard a huge explosion from where she was standing only a few seconds ago.  "What the heck!  I swear if that's somebody trying to prank me they are so going to regret it."  she walked back and found a huge whole in the crystal wall, still burning with a strange blue fire.  It didn't look like someone had tried to prank her though, more like someone was lost and decided to just blow a way out.  "Hehe, did a  pretty good job if that's what they were trying to do though."  Arya mumbled to herself as she walked closer.  But right as she was in front of the opening, something stepped out.  "Huh, who are you?"  She couldn't tell what it was at first, but she wasn't going to let her guard down anyway.

((I know my posts are kinda short, but they will get longer as we get more into the rp and I get the feel for it.))

Kyune and Veloc swiveled, Veloc with his mouth open wide and Kyune with his blue flames flaring.

"WHo are you?!" Kyune roared, then realized that even if she meant harm, by the looks of it none would come to them. He lowered his tail, but Veloc didn't close his mouth. Of course, now he was using it to talk, which was much worse than his bite.

"I haven't seen to many of your kind before, who are you?" He said at the speed of light.

Kyune looked back into the tunnel where they were going.

((Um, sorry to bug you, but the only way to get to the cavern was through the slide that they took, and into the bone pit.)) Unless there is a way out in the tunnel they discovered, of course.))

Out of the hole came a Fellox and a Serraptor.  Arya noticed the way the he spoke so boldly to her, and although she didn't like it, she did admire it.  "I am Arya.  A Lykuhna, if you must know.  I am the head of Elvin Falls.  Now can I ask you a question or two?"  She needed to know about them before making any choices, but by the way they acted, she wasn't sure if she would want to be with them or if they wanted any company at all.  "And if you're wondering how I got in her, I didn't get in here from one of those cracks, but through a hole that I dug."  As if to prove her point Arya unsheathed the razor claws and allowed them to catch the last sunlight, glistening.  She hadn't wanted to take the trouble to slip through the cracks, and wanted to make another way, so she dug a whole into the place.  "Anyway, no, I wouldn't hurt you, even if my breed is known for that.  And yes, I can read minds.  And you really should think of working on mind defense."

((Does that help at all?  I mean, I can improvise like that, but I wasn't sure if you would be opposed to it...oh, and Arya can read minds, and by mind defense, I mean like in Eragon.  To block your mind from others.  Sorry, I'm such a geek...     ))

Kyune growled, setting up a barrier in his mind. He wasn't expecting a mind reader, and didn't like his privacy invaded. He had been working for years on the perfect mind defense.

Veloc wasn't so lucky. "Mind defense? Why would I need to defend my mind? I say anything I think!" He said.

"You say it like it's a good thing." Kyune growled.

"Anyways, I am Kyune. This is Veloc, annoyance extraordinaire." He continued.

"Hey! I can introduce myself! My hobbies are playing Yankee Doodle on bones and solving complex mathematics problems using the chaos theory." He yapped, smiling crookedly.

"My hobbies are biting crazed mathematicians."  Kyune retorted, actually managing a smirk.

((Wait... I get it... You were in the cave that they busted into...))

[Elektra]

"Ok, well, nice to meet you.  So anyway, what are you doing here?  I was just wandering around, but if it's ok, I think it would be fun to go together.  What do you think?"  Arya immediately felt the power emanating from Kyune, both physically and mentally.  He had immediately put up a barrier unlike that foolish Serraptor.  "I wonder what would happen if I played around a bit."  Arya knew that it wasn't right, but she felt like that Serraptor could use a lesson in that.  It certainly wasn't hard to get in there, and yet she withdrew quickly.  "Anyway, how about it?"

[Draco]

"Veloc here wanted to find an Akail. I, incredibly, value my life. But when he gets his mind set on something, he will nag you for months on end until you agree, using every scientific, mathematic, logical and illogical method known to man or beast. Eventually, you cave or go insane." Kyune explained.

"I am simply here to view these fantastic crystaline caves." He finished.

[Elektra]

"Hehe, don't I know it.  My son Cadell is exactly the same.  Except for the fact the fact that if you were to shove a math problem in his face, he would probably tear it to pieces."  Arya was actually beginning to like the two, or at least the Fellox.  "Hey, so can I tag along?  Finding an Akail might be easier if you had someone who could mind control it a bit."  She had heard that although Akails were somewhat small compared to other wild pets, they had powerful secerets to defend themselves with, and Arya wanted to see just how powerful they were.  "Besides," she said, "I would love a challenge."

[Draco]

Kyune looked at her oddly. "You won't be finding a palmie around here. They are found on the Dead Cost." He said.

"Now, instead of standing around like a bunch of idiots, why don't we continue down this cave?" Veloc interrupted, starting down the tunnel. It was going down at a steep incline, and almost immediately he 'slipped', and starting sliding. It wasn't accidental.

"Come on..." He groaned to the lykhuna, running after his acquaintance. He stayed on all fours as he slid, calm as ever.

[Firetra]

The little Kodile peered over a path that looked like a slide.Hello!! Anyone there? hmm guess not.He then slid down the slideWeeeeeee!He then laned into a pile of bones. he then looked to his right HeHe. that pile of bones looks like drums. HeHe. He walked further down the cave. Then he saw the big gapeing hole in the wall. Hmm. I guess there is some on down here. He then looked down and started to follow the tracks made by the others.

((Can't respond to that right now... you'll have to follow done the second slide, which leads somewhere very special....))

He follows the tracks down to another slide that starts to twistHmm might as well follow them He jumped down and soon enough he was at the bottom. But his head got slammed into something hard. When he shook off the dizzyness feeling he saw that he ran into a Lykuhna. He yelped and flew a few feet in the air away from the Lykuhna. he then saw that it was usless to fly because there was a Serraptor and a Fellox right in front of the Lykuhna. He quickly fell down and covered his head in the fatal position.Please don't eat me, please don't eat me, please don"t eat me!

Arya slid to a stop and tried to catch her breath before turning around to see what the heck had just hit her.  "Hey, you have eyes, why don't you use them?"  Arya said sternly to the Kodile.  And yet when she looked again, she saw that it was probably afraid of her.  "Hey, I'm not going to eat you.  I mean, sure, you do look tasty but hey."  she saw the scared look on the little fellows face get worse and she hastily said, "Hey hey hey, I was joking about eating you ya know, I wouldn't do that."  Arya was beginning to get really annoyed with people thinking she was going to eat them.  She wasn't going to eat them, not to mention that they probably weren't even very tasty.  "Anyway, sorry about saying palmie, I tend to mix the two up for some really weird reason."
