It was cold. Desperately cold. He wasn't used to this kind of environment. In the homeland, It was usually bright, and sunny, with the great mountain rising above the valley skyline, where his pen was located.
But still, even as miserable as Okami's venture could get, he had to trudge forward. You see, Okami was part of an elite organization. One who's members were so exclusive that they were barely even known to each other. This organization was the Cake Permit Group, and it's prized jewel, the Sultan's Gold cake, was stolen.
This is what Okami had set in his mind as he trekked after the acursed beast who had stolen the cake, a cunning Akail.
Lost in his prideful murmurings, Okami hadn't even noticed the dark figure of a majestic bird closing in fast as it flew along the side of a tunnel opposite him. As he approached, nearer and nearer, he heard the slight wing flaps of the creature, and looked up in time for him to plow right into it. They both toppled backward into the hard walls of the cavern.
Feeling very affronted, he said,
"What's your problem!? Can't you see straight? I've got a mission I need done, and I can't be slowed by any random bird that's-" And that's when he notice the light blue laminated permit attached to the birds front.
"Oh... I'm so sorry. I didn't know that... Wait. What are you doing here? What is a Magistry doing down here in the caverns, huh?
