Alice padded around the little clearing. She was a little anxious to get camp set up. She turned to Split. "Anything else ya need?" she asked with a grin.

Yes actualy. I would like you to go and catch sdome of the cave fish please!He then turned back to the metal. He had started another and started to work it into the metal he needed. He then had two bars of metal and was soon shaping one of them. He had one end made into a sharp point and the other end was notched. He then made it into a long shaft and then while the metal was still hot, put in some feathers. Soon he had two long arrow things. They could be used in a bow or an attlatle or just a spear. Right now it would have to settle as a spear. Here use this. It will help you catch some fish from the surface that way you dont scare them if you jump in.

Alice smiled and nodded at him as she took the spear, mentally thinking she wouldn't need it most likely. She trotted off and reached a small wave pool. She sat and looked into the water, watching all the fish swim around, not noticing she was there. She smiled and took the spear, morphing into her human form. She stabbed the spear into a large fish and took it out of the water. She waited to do it again when the fish settled. She had caught about 8 fish when a rock moved behind her. She froze and changed back, then laughed at herself. "Stop being paranoid," she scolded herself as she put the fish in her sack.

Split started to work on some more iron when he noticed somthing different. In the iron was a tip of gold. He had discovered a gold mine! Litteraly! He quickly picked out the gold and made a pile out of it. He then continued to make more bars and picking the gold out. He soon had a large pile of gold and about 10 bars of iron. He then fastioned some of the iron into a michettie and another into a few more spears. He then found a good peice of  wood and strted to hack at it and he soon had a atlatal. Now he could get things at a distance. Perfect for some of the small game that was here.

Alice put down the spear and turned back to the water. "Might as well start another collection," she told herself happily as she began picking up small orange shells. She wasn't paying attention as a small bug buzzed right behind her ear. She shrieked and jumped, falling backwards.

Split stopped working on a bar of gold when he heard Alice squeal. He quickly gathered the Atlatel and rushed to her. He found her lying on her butt andin the sand. He saw the orange seashells and the fish. He was glad that she had food and was okay but was kinda puzzled on what scared her. He set the atlatel down and helped her up. You okay? I heard you squeal.

Alice looked up in surprise. "Sorry," she giggled embarrasedly. She accepted to helping hand gratefully as she scooped up her shells. "I wasn't paying attention when a bug flew by my ear, so it scared me."

its okay. So long as you wernt hurt. Come on lets get these fish and take them back to camp. He then hauled the fish onto his back and started to pad away. Hey I just had to ask. But what are you collecting those sea shells for anyways?

She lugged a few fish away and looked over at Split. "I like to collect colorful things," she admitted shyly. She rubbed her head with the back of her tail. She shoved her shells deep in her pouch and continued to haul the fish with her.
