The city was empty. No one around to bother him, to bother them. Alex wandered around the graveyard like he did many days. All was silent, all was at peace. The town was enclosed on all sides by a rock wall. Caves ran for miles through the wall and to the land on the other side. The caves were like a maze, not many creatures got in, or out. The town itself use to be full of poeple, festivals, and all other kinds of fun, but no more. Now it was a ghost town. Everything sat rotting, food, houses, and even the amusement park. Well, almost.

It was a normal day like any other in the abandoned town he lived in, but there was one differance. A noise. Some one was comming. You could hear them through the caves that surrounded the town. It sounded like there were a few creature on there way. Alex left the graveyard and hid. He was always cautious and for good reasons. He waitted and watched as the creatures aproached.

"What the hell are we doing here?" Damon complained in annoyance. Impatient, he did not know why they were there. "Aren't we supposed to meet a few others at camp?" he groaned. "My gosh, stop complaining, I just want to go to buy a drink. We will be back on the road as soon as possible." Rika sighed. While they continued to walk into the little town, Damon and Rika we're more alarmed then usual. "I smell something, do you Damon?" Rika asked, with ergency in her voice. "Yeah, theres another creature around.. I can feel it. I feel it watching us as we walk." Damon hissed. "Yeah..but theres also something else not right..this town is quiet..too quiet. Its as if its been deserted or something.." She responded. "We know you're there! Whoever you are, we're not evil or something! Come out already!" Damon shouted. "Damon! Stop..." Rika softly shouted back, but they stopped and waited for awhile until something moved or came out.

Alex heard the creatures conversation as they walked through the town but he didn't want to respond to it. For a moment Alex thought that they had heard him, but that was impossible. There was a sound but it came from another direction. A few seconds after the creature Alex was following stopped, the noise came again. It sounded like a scratching. The sound wasn't that far away from them. It was just behind one of the houses about half a yard away. Alex went ahead of the creatures, still without being seen, and arrived where the noise originated from. He was surprised at what he saw and figured that the other creature he had followed would be as well. On the back of the house there was something spray painted with blood red paint. It read "Get Out! Leave now and never return!" Alex could feel the other creatures approaching. He wondered what they would think of it. He was still hidden for the time being.

"Nobodys answering, Damon..." Rika said quietly, while turning around to find Damon not there. "Damon?" She called out. The Slykoon was hidden behind a tree, thought that this was a good opportunity to freak the Marrow Corbine out. Damon laughed quietly to himself for his mean prank on Rika. "Damon this isn't funny! Please come back.." Rika almost cried out. "I'm serious...or I'll fly around and find you." she added. Damon didn't move, just laughed loudly enough for her to hear but not so she could find where he was hiding so fast. Then he moved quietly to another place. "Please, Damon..." Rika said in a baby tone, one that she knew he couldn't resist. Although they we're only friends, it was enough to guilt trip him. " Oh fine," Damon answered back. "Sometimes your no fun." He added. "Let's just find a drink, okay?" Rika said. But Damon didn't answer, he just nodded his head, then started to follow Rika.

Alex looked back to where he thought the creatures were. They weren't there. 'I guess they will find this at some point' he thought to himself before leaving the graffiti scene. He trailed the creatures back to where they were playing around. From what he could tell they had a bond between them. They cared for each other. It was interesting to figure out who these people were. 'But how would they react? How will they react when they see the warning signs?'

Damon and Rika came to a stop. Looking around they noticed, it was more a city, than a town. It seemed dark but there was no way that it a whole city could possibly be left behind. Or so they thought, until they noticed there wasn't much city sounds. Looking around again, still nothing was moving. No, creatures, humans, vehicles, nothing at all. "I wonder why this place is deserted.." Rika questioned in a soft voice. Sadness taking over just a little. "Yah, I wonder why.." Damon agreed.

"Screech-" again the noise was hear in the distance. This time it seemed a bit closer, and even perhaps louder. Alex decided not to look this time. He knew what it would be and didn't have any interest in the manner. Instead he waited and watched to see if the other creature he followed would react.

Curious at the noise, Damon followed the sound. "Damon, what is it?" Rika questioned, looking at Damon confused. "Damon, I just want to get a drink, can we please go?" Rika whinned. "Not yet, let me just go take a look at what that screeching sound was, then we'll go." Damon replied. Rika followed Damon to the screechy area, not really knowing what to do. "Hmm..thats interesting."

Alex followed them to the area of the noise. When they arrived they all saw red wet pain on the wall that wrote 'Get Out'. This had no reaction to Alex but he figured at least it would to one of the visitors. Alex even suspected that the one creature knew he was there. He waited to see if the creatures said anything else.

[Slynne]

"Huh, I wonder who the heck is trying to prank us."Damon said in disbelief. "Are you sure it might not be a real warning, what if something or someone still lives here." Rika said in awe, not sure at how to take the message. It was more concerning her then creeping her out.

Alex decided that there was nothing being accomplished by following these creatures. He came out from the shadows behind and walked farther in front of the creatures facing the wall. He stared quietly at the writing on the wall and a few moments after he quietly and calmly said, "It wasn't me, the writing I mean." He walked passed the two beings and continued back in the direction in which he first came.

Damon and Rika looked at each other in confusion, wondering where he creatre had come from. They had both thought that they we're alone in this strange quiet town. "Woah, you're just going to take off now?" Damon snarled at the creature. This was just not making any sense and was incredibly awkward. What were they supposed to say to a stranger.

Alex looked back at the creature who spoke. "You look as if you were confused, and yet I know you felt my presence." Alex spoke in riddle.He then continued, "And yes. I'm going to take off. I have no reason to stay here any longer. I have other matters to attend to." With that said, he began walking away again.

[Slynne]

"What other matters to attend to?!" Damon shouted out with a another snarl at the end. "You seem like a creep! Who are you?!" Damon continued furiously. Then walking back and forth trying to contain his temper. Although he wasn't really that mad, he just wanted to try keeping calm.

"Other matters that don't involve you." Alex said aggressively. He no longer knew how to really talk to others. It has been so long. So many years since then. Alex then turned and began to fly away, giving one last glare as he left. He needed to know why. Alex got home and looked around till he found the white haired boy. "Why did you do that?" Alex began, "I told you that we leave them alone. We can see who they are but we are not to interfere!" The white headed boy just stared at Alex blankly. "Promise?" Alex then asked. This time the boy nodded once. Alex understood than told the boy, "Alright. I'm sorry little brother. It must have been them again. I swear, they are trying to kill us." The boy stepped closer to Alex and gave him a hug. Alex returned it and said, "I know. But you don't need to worry, I won't let them get you."
