[Sarah]

“You wish to be her mate.” Feuta said after a long while, Jesper’s eyes met hers and she could see the desperation he was trying so hard to hide. “but she doesn’t want you?” she asked tilting her head, she was never one to try and help but she figured she owed him something in return for him saving her. “No, she does, it’s just… complicated.” He did not look happy that he was sharing information about him wanna-be girlfriend, but he could not refuse the help, because at this point he was pretty desperate. “What is the matter then? Is she involved with another?” Feuta liked a good mystery, and this was just up her ally.

[Sarah]

“She has a demon inside of her, and before you offer to get rid of it, you can’t she will die if it leaves her.” Jesper explained a look of pain light on his face. “Ah, but keeping it inside her is killer her too.” Feuta had heard of this before, but had never seen it.  She knelt down next to him, earning a warning growl that shook its way through the rock to find her. she ignored it, and examined cream. “it’s a strong demon, definitely bonded to her spirit, but very unloyal to it.” She rambled on for a little before stopping mid-sentence.

[Sarah]

“What is it?” Jesper asked his interest peaking, feuta hardly ever stopped mid-thought. “Maybe you could... no that wouldn’t work,” Jesper could tell that if they were in a cartoon Feuta would have gears in her head turning and smoke coming out of her ears. “You’re going to hurt yourself trying to figure it out.” He warned. “I know I did.” He mumbled looking at Cream with sad eyes. “So does this demon prevent her from taking a mate?” she asked her eyes glowing a little.

[Sarah]

“no, she doesn’t want to take a mate because she is concerned the demon will hurt me, or if we ever bred, hurt her kits.” He said not taking his eyes off of cream. “Well, then it seems like this demon has some power over her. the fact that she loves you but won’t take you as a mate means that it has power over her feelings, not like it can control them, but it can prevent them.” This was new to Jesper, after all the advice and books he had sought to try and answer his questions, it seemed like all he really had to do was get feuta. –at least she is useful- he thought amused.

[Sarah]

A sudden burst of laughter caught Jesper off guard; he jumped almost literally out of his skin. “Hey! What was that for?” he asked, annoyed. “Sorry, sorry, sometimes I can’t help it.” Feuta barked sharply. But calmed down almost instantly, it wasn’t his fault, he just didn’t understand. “Well, to get rid of this demon all we have to do is expose it to another demon.” She said, the plan was ingenious really. “No, you don’t mean- “he was cut off, just the thought sent shivers down his spine. “Oh come one, she isn’t that scary.” Feuta said in a light tone.

[Sarah]

“I don’t want to deal with another demon, besides she would not be any help.” Jesper growled remembering why he didn’t like feuta, she was crazy. “You don’t know, I’m sure she would do it if we paid her, she’ll do anything for money.” Feuta laughed, she rather enjoyed Scarlet, no matter how demon-y she was. It was not a bad idea, feuta knew that, and she knew cream would agree, she felt the life force coming off of the kuhna, it was strong and it would be able to handle it.

[Sarah]

Cream let out a whimper, and all eyes returned to her, though Feuta’s still seemed lost in thought. “It’s ok, I’m here for you.” Jesper said softly, cooing to her trying to get her to wake up, or to at least stop making noise. “How long is she usually out like this?” Feuta asked, her eyes snapping to Jesper. “I-I don’t know.” He admitted. “It depends, every time is different.” He looked confused, he had really no idea what was going on. –Poor soul- Feuta thought. –still it is very inconsistent even for a demon, usually they take the same amount of time to rest every time no matter what- now Feuta had another problem to work out.

[Sarah]

Jesper felt the silence thicken, Feuta was deep in thought, and Cream was still twitching though she wasn’t crying out anymore. Jesper just watched her, barely able to notice anything else. She was so pretty, he found himself wishing so much that they could be together. They both wanted it so why could they not have it. Feuta had explained it a little but it didn’t make sense to him, what did it matter so long as they had each other.

[Sarah]

Jesper’s eyes followed Feuta as she pace back and forth, lost in thought. Cream was in a real sleep now and he knew it would not be long before she would wake and be ready to leave. He hoped it would be soon, he hated being stuck under the rock. They hadn’t found anything and by the looks of it Feuta hadn’t found anything either. At least nothing important, she did have a few crystals in a pouch around her neck, but not many. ”well, find anything?” he asked breaking the silence, but he could not handle it anymore, usually the air around him was filled with cream’s voice making times not so quiet and lonely feeling.

[Sarah]

As he suspected there was no reply, not even a grunt. So he sat there flicking his tails and staring at the wall. Even ska looked bored but at least he was able to leave and explore on his own. Cream was slowly gaining consciousness and Jesper was getting even itchier to move the longer they waited. But he was stuck under Cream making sure her sleep was comfortable. He was ok with that, he would give up his amusement and the feeling in his legs if it meant that Cream would come back soon. And in the end it always payed off.

[Sarah]

Sighing Jesper started to nod off as well, this had been a long day, or maybe a long couple of days he didn’t know. He hated that he didn’t know. But it seemed just as he fell asleep Cream woke up. In reality it had been a few hours later that they woke up. Feuta was still lost in her thoughts but ska was back. Smiling at cream he got up, helping Cream on the way. “ready?” he asked his eyes softening.

[Sarah]

It took a long time but finally they were out. Everyone was in one piece and there was no trouble getting out of the caves. They headed down the path towards the place they had been dropped off. “Well, I’ll get in contact with you when I figure something out.” Feuta said turning down another path. “See you later.” Cream said waving. “Hopefully soon.” Feuta said disappearing behind the foliage. “Good riddance.” Jesper said under his breath. They made it to the end of the path and a car was waiting. “Time to go home.” Cream said happily. They got into the car leaving the caved behind them.
