"I am sorry milly but I dont think I can reason with artimus when she has made up her mind she wont back down. She does have her mothers spirt and strenght in her." said josh in a casual tone

"Ah yes....sorry." If Tempest could have, he would have blushed with embarrassment. "I intend to simply invite the Akail to the ranch. If it enjoys life there then it can stay, but if it doesn't then we'll release it back here." Tempest sniffed the trail.

"well hello tempast again. we were just discussing stragites if the akail was to attack us. What my little artimus sugested is we use her as a distraction. I know its a silly thought but she has her mind made up though."said josh in a grumpy mood.

"I knew you were going to say that Josh you always do and all the time I tell you I will be fine. I and we have gotten out of much worse situations than this befor and we have used me as a distraction. said Artimus in a mad voice.

"Small things are hard to catch. I think as long as she is up to it, then that should be fine." He walked further up the trail, the scent becoming more powerful by the step. When it became very strong he rushed quietly back to the group. "There might be one up there as we speak. Now is the time to do what you want to do."

"hum I dont see anything but these caves dull my sence of things. I think there might be one up there but I dont know it could be another creature just wateing to attack.Well Artimus what do you see." said josh

"Hard to tell it might be one or it might not. Milly woud you want me to look ahead." asked Artimus

Millie though for a minute. 'Hm, I don't know, you should go wth some one just incase." She looked to Gear, he shook slightly. "Go on Gear, you'll be fine, you are a fast runner." She said, smiling. Gear nodded and jumped off of Trails head to the ground. He ran next to Artimus and nodded, teling her he was ready to go.

"very well you could ride on me or you could run I will fly though. If I say for you to leave I want you to run back as fast as you can. I dont want anything to happen to you gear thats the last thing we need is an accident in the cave. But here we go."said Artimus as she took flight

Tempest lay down in the sphinx position, muscles tensed. He would be ready to race off along the trail to help the pair if needed. "I was sure I scented Akail. I could be wrong though. I don't have that much experience with the scent."

Gear nodded, then started with a slow trot not wanting to go to fast yet. Millie watched as they ran off, she hoped nothing would happen. She patted Trail as he walked on.

as Artimus flew off and as tempast and gear went along. "Its ok millie Artimus is a great scout she will watch over gear. Like she has said we have gotten throught alot tougher scrapes than this before. They will be fine all Artimus has wanted to do this whole trip is to scout and fly and run,that sort of thing. Her mom liked to do all that. I see so much of Artimus's mother in her." said josh to millie as they walked on

Temple got up and followed the remaining travelers. "What else do you think lives down here?" he asked to no one in particular. He adjusted his bag as he said this to keep the map from slipping out.

"hum I am not really sure whats down here. This is my first time in a cave like this before that is so dark I surly coudent tell you much more than what you and millie know." said josh as they walked.

"You guys are slow, hurry up, we are way ahead, I am getting bored, why cant something intristing happen?" Inferno said noticing a trapped turkeyzilla in a trap squawking for help. "Dawww how cute," Inferno said as the bird snapped at him hungrily, clawing through the holes in the cage, it has an broken "wing" he freed it, it did not attack, it waited for Inferno to make the next move, "Gobbles " Inferno mumbled naming the turkey.

Millie was still  a slight worried, but knew if things got serious, Gear would run. But she still had her worries.
