Blaidd smiled slightly and headed into the cave, followed by Shy and Redemption. Redemption was attemption to keep her walking steady, as not to hurt the young Fericoon on her back any more than what he already was. Shy looked over to Blaidd, whom was preparing himself to head down the passageway that parted them. Shy had noticed a smear of blood on his cheek, and she walked over to him, grabbing his tie, forcing him to turn human, licking her thumb and rubbing the smear of blood with said thumb. The 19 year old lucain winced and pulled away with a heavy sigh. Shy smiled and nodded. Heading down the passage they were to take. Blaidd then looked over his shoulder to see if Tori was coming, and to check she was alright.

[Tori]

Tori smiled, jogging gracefully past him and grabbing his hand. "Come on, let's go."

Dre still lay on his back, his paw resting on Redemption's wing. His olive green eyes surveyed the cavern, taking in every design etched in the walls. "Now I know why the Akail like it here." He lay flat on her back, dreaming about what it must be like deeper inside the caverns.

Blaidd was tugged along and he followed, nodding slightly as he jogged with her, his anthro from coming through as his dual tails wagged and his ears twitched. Keeping his pace beside her. "I'm sorry about before." He sighed, referring to when they were in the cave before.

Redemption and Shy were still walking through the caverns, Redemption's tail casting shadows across the dimly lit walls.

[Tori]

Tori laughed lightheartedly, letting go of his hand and slowing to a walk. "What do you have to be sorry for?" She shoved her hands in her pockets, her smile still lingering. She was a very resilient person.

Dre could hear his mother laughing in the distance. He smiled, swaying with Redemption's slow gait.

Blaidd smiled slightly. "Well, I forced you into that kiss for one." He said, frowning at himself slightly as his hands shoved into his coat pockets, his shades sliding down his nose and his tie now muddied, even though the rest of his suit wasn't. Some of the fur on his tails, and on his ears, was splattered with drops of crimson. His head then snapped up, from straing at his shoes, his nose wrinkling as he scented the air, finding a strange, but familiar scent.

Redemption kept her pace steady. Shy was now clinging to her leg, bending her body as Redemption's leg muscles contracted and relaxed, watching the area ahead of her with curious brown eyes, still clinging to Redemption's front leg.

[Tori]

Tori smiled. "To tell you the truth, you're not a bad kisser." She glanced sideways at him, blushing slightly. She saw his reaction, and turned her head. Not seeing anything, she scented the air. "What is that?"

Dre watched the walls, gaping at the glowing marks. He froze; he could hear something. He scented the air. "Do you guys smell that?"

Blaidd didn't give an answer, but simply ran deeper into the caverns, returning as a Lucain with a half-shattered injection hanging from his mouth and laying it down on the floor infront of Tori, then morphing mack into his human form. "I could smell Akkia's blood, this would explain why. She has to take tranquilizers to keep herself calm. Don't ask." Blaidd said simply, then held out his hand for Tori to take, for them to venture deeper into the caverns.

Shy shook her head slightly, Redemption shook her head and they continued to move, but Redemption sometimes looking back to check Dre was still there. "Rest, young one." Redemption said in her soft tone. "You are safe now."

[Tori]

Tori nodded, staring curiously at the syringe. She looked up, and seeing Blaidd's offer, took his hand.

He could still smell it. His predator instincts told him it was blood. He squirmed a little. "It's blood. I can tell."

"Calm, child." redemption said in a indifferent tone as she entred a large cavern, looking about, her tail gasting off a light that dimly illuminated the cavern, then letting out a bellowing roar, showing her position.

Blaidd heart the roar and returned it with a howl. They were neck and neck with the others, his peircing howl shown his own pesition. He then began to move forward, his smoggy eyes gazing through the darkness.

[Tori]

Dre jumped at the sound, aggrevating his injuries a bit. He bit his lip, blinking back the childish tears.

Tori heard the roar and stopped, then realized what it was for and jogged up to Blaidd.

Shy felt Redemption's muscles and scales begin to move beneath her hands again and she began to shoft her weight, clinging on as Redemption walked. Looking down at the MP3 player she had now pulled out of her pocket and she turned up the music, turning the one song onto repeat. The gentle lyrics of
'When I'm with him,
I am thinking of you.'
Redemption's and Shy's silence was deafening as they listened to the slightly saddening song.
'Won't you come through the door,
and take me away,
no more mistakes,
'cause In your eyes,
I'd like to stay.'
Shy smiled slightly. "Reminds you of Akkia, Hm?" Redemption said in a thoughtful tone, her black head watching the darkness and shy nodded slightly. "How can it not?" Redemption smiled as Shy changed the song.
'Your hot then your cold,
your yes then your no,
your in then your out,
your up then your down.'
It went on like that for a short while, then Shy sang lightly along with the song, quietly to herelf, almost trying to lessen the silence. "Someone call the doctor, gotta case of love bipolar..." Redemption smiled and continued on there way.

Blaidd smiled slightly as he stopped for a second, looking about and sniffing lightly. A fork in the road. He looked down one, deep cavern, and his eyes scanning across to another. He looked about quickly, then turning into a lucain, he clawed at the wall, leaving small, white marks in the stone. He would do this at every fork, to show where he had been.

Dre nestled up against Redemptions scales, staring blankly at the ceiling and listening to Shy sing. He watched the marks go past, the ragged rocks that jutted downwards dripping cold water onto the floor. A drop of water landed in his eye. He squeaked, rubbing his face with his paw. "Aww, come on..."

Tori stood back a few feet, just watching. She learned more about people by just watching than talking. This man was certainly interesting.

Tedemption hummed slightly as Shy clambered up her wing, which Redemption had unfurled slightly, landing on Redemption's back with a heavy huff. "Hey Dre" Shy smiled, rocking with Redemption's slow and calm gait, humming gently to the song, aswell.

Shy smiled and hummed along to the song.

Blaidd then turned to his human form and headed down a tunnel, looking about, trying to get his eyes attuned to the darkness. Still hoping to find a Akail.

Tori sped up to walk next to Blaidd again. She stared blankly at the ground, her hands stuffed into her pockets. Her train of thought crawled through a forest of memories, leading up to a day in the beginning of June, only a few years before...

---Begin Flashback---

Tori hid behind a tree, her white button-up blouse covered with little smudges of dirt and her black jeans marked with grass stains. A playful smile was plastered on her face as she turned slowly to look around the tree. A boy came around the tree, quickly wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her on the cheek. She squeaked in surprise, then started laughing with him. She reached up and ruffled his black hair, her left hand clinging to his primary blue jacket. He laughed and spun her around so she was looking straight into those gorgeous dark hazel eyes that always left her breathless...

---End Flashback---

She snapped back to reality long enough to realize her iPod had stopped playing. She pulled it out of her pocket by the wire and fumbled with the radio features.
Because days come and go

She quickly jabbed the skip button. If I hear that bloody song one more time..., she growled in her mind, silently shuffling along and flipping through the songs. "So, Blaidd, you come here often?'

Dre sat up groggily, turning around to face Shy, rubbing his eyes with his tiny paw. He looked up to see her face, straddling Redemption's shoulders and putting his front paws in front of him for balance. "Hey, Shy? Is Blaidd your son?"

Blaidd shook his head slightly. "First time, I'm just going off instinct. And is it me or is it hot?" He panted. Yanking off his tie and jacket, he slung them over his shoulder, but that didn't satisfy him. He then untucked his white shirt from his back, belted slacks and began to take it off. Finally freeing himself of the pale, damp fabric and stretching his muscles. The well-tanned skin stretching over the well-toned muscles. Everything on the body, but nothing in the head. Blaidd was, to put it kindly, as thick as pig swill.

Shy looked at him with slight shock, then let out a loud, low, rumbling laugh. "My son? well, I guess you could say that, you little oen." She had no idea why she had just called him 'you little lamb' in welsh, but she did anyway. "He's my adoptive son, but incase you haven't noticed, I'm 15, he's 19, I wasn't even a twinkle in my daddy's eye when he was born." she then grinned and laughed. Redemption then came to a sudden halt. "Please, get off my back." She said gently. Shy looked puzzled and scooped Dre up slightly, not giving him room to protest, and then clambering down, then watching Redemption turn and run back towards the entrance. She then sighed, looking down at the ferricoon in her arms. "Looks like its just you and me, Oen." Shy sighed.
