"I...Just want my aunty Paranoia..." Shy croaked, holding back sobs, gritting her teeth, and telling out a long, hoarse sigh. But then looking over at Dre and sighing lightly, leaning against him gently.

"Its alright Tori, I'm here." Blaidd mumbled instinctivley. It seemed to comfort Akkia when Shy did this, when Akkia used to break down and cry, when her scars were fresh in her mind, when she couldn't do anything but Cry, Shy would just wrap her arms around Akkia, and cold her close, tell her everything would be fine, tell her that she was there now. That nothing would ever hurt her again.

[Tori]

Dre gently stroked her hair, rocking her back and forth like a child. He'd never been so kind to anyone before; he was always psychotic and, frankly, coldhearted. Why he changed so sudenly, he didn't know. But he was worried for Shy, and he just wanted her to be okay.

She squeezed her eyes shut. His words remained, a ringing in her ears. How could she feel this way? He was so imposing, but so gentle. This man was certainly more interesting than she had originally thought. "Blaidd..." She stopped. Why couldn't she say it?! She sighed. "Nevermind."

Shy listened carefully as her music began to play, still trembling within Dre's arms, singing along gently with it.
"A poetic genius,
Is something I don't see,
Why would a genius be trippin on me?

"No, go on." Blaidd said gently, still holding her gently, gazing down at her with his quicksilver eyes.

[Tori]

Dre hugged her, listening quietly to her sing.

"No, I..I..." She stammered a bit. How would he react? But then, if she didn't... "Blaidd...I think..." Her voice shook a little. "I think...I've...fallen in love..." She swallowed. "...With you..."

If Blaidd didn't have the brainpower of a rubber duck, he would of been slightly more surprised. He simply stood there, taking in the information and processing it through the windows 98 of his mind, and then processing it again before finally relaxing. "Alright..." He mumbled, not really all that sure of how to reply.

Shy sniffed lightly as she risen, then turned back towards the entrance of the cavern, trekking her way back through the caves and finally arriving at the entrance, sitting herself down at the grassland of the cave, staring blankly out towards the horizon.

[Tori]

She smiled. So he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, but what did that matter? It's better than nothing. She loosened up her grip, wiping way a tear and sniffing a little, seperating herself to look into his silver eyes. Her heart skipped a beat.

Dre followed a safe distance behind, still plainly worried for her well-being. He sat by her side, a foot away to give her some space. He leaned forward slightly, studying her expression. Something's not quite right with her...

Blaidd smiled lightly, swinging the backpack from his shoulder and sipping on his upper clothing silently, then settling himself down, opening the backpack. "Want some food?" He asked gently, his steel grey eyes gazing up at her, in there Blaidd-ish way. He wasn't the sharpest knife in the draw, infact, he was probably as sharp as a spoon.

Shy continued to gaze towards the horizon, wanting to see a black mass rising from it, wanting to see a small, multi-coloured lucain blob running towards them. She just wanted to see her gaurdian...and parent, in a way.

[Tori]

She smiled and sat beside him as if nothing had been said. "No, I'm fine," she said, pulling her iPod back out of her pocket and messing around with the controls, looking up at him through her eyelashes, a sly smile playing at the corners of her mouth. She quickly looked back down, contemating what to say next. Maybe it was better to stay silent.

He turned, following her gaze out to the horizon and sighing. This wasn't going to be easy; he would have to be careful what he said, and choose his words wisely. He wanted to know. It wasn't his business, but he still wanted to know. He was concerned for her. "...Something's not right." His gaze darted back to her. "I know something's not right."

"One day." She began. "You'l be away from you're mother, and you would give anything to feel her arms wrapped around you, right now? I want my mother." She said simply.

Blaidd felt his tounge stick to the roof of his mouth and his throat swell, he suddenly didn't feel hungry, and he suddenly couldn't take his eyes from Tori. He moved slightly closer to her, placed his arm around her shoulders and gently kissed her cheek, wondering if she would make a move, or just settle for this.

[Tori]

Dre looked down, contemplating what she said. He sighed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry."

She was a little surprised by Blaidd's sudden gesture, but when his lips pressed to her cheek, her heart started to race. Where was this going? She knew exactly. She gently placed one cold hand on his chest, the other on the side of his neck. Is he...nervous? Well, that was certainly a change.

Shy shrugged lightly, letting out a deep sigh as she continued to look out towards the horizon. "No-one ever does, Dre."

Blaidd let his steel eyes slip shut as he pulled away, then leaning back against the cave wall, what he would give to hear that familiar beat of Shy's music, just to look up and see her grinning down at him, to be completley and perfectly honest, all what Blaidd wanted, right at this moment, was Shy, was his mother.

[Tori]

He sighed, gazing out at the horizon with his olive-green eyes. She was so much like his mother; the things she said, and the way she said them.

She sighed. I figured. An annoying beeping sound came from her pocket. "Crap..." She dug her phone out, flipping it open and running her hand through her hair. "Hallo?" A metallic voice answered, speaking in some foreign language. She answered in the same language, sounding somewhat agitated. A pause. "Fine, I'll be there in ten." Snapping the phone shut, she stuffed everything into her pack and stood. "I have to go." She leaned down breifly to kiss Blaidd gently on the cheek, then turned and headed for the entrance.

Blaidd blushed lightly at the kiss on the cheek, but then stood, racing after her, grabbing her by the shoulder, spinning her around and giving her a full-blown kiss. Eventually pulling away, grinning and leaping, looking as if he was going to land on his hands, then turning into a lucain in mid-air, and running from the entrance, panting at Shy who sighed lightly, looked over at Dre and nodded slightly at him. "Take care, Dre, It was nice to meet you." She then began across the plains, blaidd walking with her, humming happily.
