Once home to the Crystal Cities of the Hunter clans, Craiss Caverns is now a hollow empty shell of its former glory due to a strange misfortune in the past. Man-made tunnels now lead to this place, but tales tell of some never returning. (+3 Defense, +2 Offense)

An'ei nodded and his markings began to glow once more. He heard the maroloth speak again. Bartok? An'ei's feather crest went up at Bartok's warning and he looked down the tunnel. He spotted the reptilian as well, but couldn't tell what it was. An'ei's markings turned deep red and he hissed threateningly at the creature running towards them. He would rather get away, but An'ei readied himself for a fight just in case.

Drei'Lok

A roar resonated through the cave. Drei'Lok stepped out of the shadows and took a defensive stance, and hissed. He lowered his head, and tensed his muscles, ready to pounce if An'ei made any threatening movements. Bartok flapped forward, and shrieked. However, only Drei'Lok and himself could hear it. He picked a frequency that only echolocation-using creatures and mammal-like reptiles could hear. Drei'Lok shook his head and staggered backward. He reared up on his back legs, and roared again before going back to his defensive posture.

Typhoeus snarled, though he couldn't see, he could smell a new scent that was giving off a threatening aura. He paused, waiting for any incoming orders from his brother. It's a strange creature, it's in a defensive stance, stay on your toes for any sounds, we don't want trouble The words echoed in his mind as Thyph's glowing eyes narrowed into a glare. Whatever brother says, goes, I guess. Typh thought to himself as he let out a threatening growl. He arranged himself a defensive stance, legs apart and listening for any movement. Bartok, huh? Hope he could fight.
Apep's widened, he had never seen such a creature, not even in books of fantasies. He blinked, realizing it was going defensive, he sent the thought to his brother as Apep made an offensive stance, ready to lunge. "Bartok, mind explaining who this is? Or what? We need the smallest of trouble as we can get." Apep called out. Did Mercy meet up with this creature? Was she even alive? troubling thoughts flashed into Apep as he stared out at the stranger. Realizing his heart beat was going way off of the calm meter, he slowly breathed in and out, watching and analyzing the newcomer. Not knowing the anatomy, he could hardly find any weak points, but he would leave that up to his brother as he would attack.

"There was lore about these things back in my colony, but I thought they were merely things of legend! In my language, they're called Dar'Konar. The head and tail are their main weapons, so stay away from those. It's only weak spot is the belly, but it's nearly impossible to get to it. The best way to fight it without much damage to yourself is with a certain frequency of sound, but it's only available to echolocation-users," Bartok chirped. He let out another shriek to keep the creature at bay.

The two brothers nodded at Bartok's words. Typhoeus quickly formed a plan using his words ass a bonus plus, when he finally formulated one, he voiced it out. "Bartok! Can you distract it with your sounds? An'ei and Apep, you two can move to the sides and try to attack." Typh, on the other hand, was going to try and distract it with his speed. Quickly, using his tail, he threw the dirt from the ground and over to the beast, where ever it hit, it didn't matter. Typh snarled a bit, throwing more dust at the creature, hopefully the eyes, but he couldn't care less as he turned his main weapon into rocks.
Apep took his brother's advice and moved a bit to the side as Typh started throwing random things from the ground at the Dar'Konar. They needed to time their actions correctly, but if Typh's plan fails, they would need to rely on the person who had the most information about them. Bartok. When finally in position, Apep quickly used his blinding speed and aimed at the creatures underbelly with his claws.

An'ei froze when he saw the strange creature before them. It didn't seem to be attacking though. The creature was standing defensively. An'ei almost missed the others talking as he wondered about it. He looked over at Typhoeus and nodded. "Got'cha." An'ei's markings stopped glowing and he slipped silently off to the side to wait. He didn't think the beast would notice him in the dark cave. It was easy for him to hide here and that was why An'ei had chosen to live in the tunnels.
