Possibly the rainiest place on Evelon, Baian stretches for miles along the southern coasts. Thanks to the moist soil rich in minerals, wildlife here have developed unique adaptations. To travel through this thick, muddy area, most either take specially designed boats. (+2 Offense)

Not expecting the kirund to come so close as to touch him, much less bump him Mooph was caught off guard and had to side step a foot or so away before regaining his footing.  His ears went back , fur standing on end as he watched the kirund for a moment longer. He did relax as the kirund walked off, happily as could be. Nice but... strong. A little too strong and the kid had no idea. Mooph had been like that as a child.

With an irritated sigh the lucain followed after the kirund. He could feel Nandi’s larger back fin slapping the back of his head happily.

“So I guess he canno’ talk or something. How weird!” Nandi said happily as she looked around, “Maybe he’s broked? Hey, do you think he has like, a famerlee or something? Maybe we can meet ‘em, huh? Hey, hey can he come home with us ?!” Nandi asked, just then jumping down as she rang her bell to transform into a mekkayena. He tails were raised high, to keep her bell out of the mud.

“Er, no. We don’t know his family and we live with other people and they don’t know him. We don’t really know him. Maybe another day?”  It was an easy way out. Hopefully, once they were done exploring they would go home and Nandi would completely forget about the kirund. Even if she did remember they would have no way of relocating the kirund (not like he could give them a phone number or anything like that). Either way Mooph was out of having to deal with the kirund post-adventure and from the pleased wag of her tail, Nandi was satisfied with this answer.

With that pressing problem out of the way all that was left was, “Where are you going, kirund?”  Moopheus asked, looking around the swamp. Dank and... swampy, honestly it was all the same, “We can’t stray too far from ... closer to town. I don’t want to get lost out here...”
It may be an adventure for Nandi, but this was suppose to be tame. That hydrolisk had been his own, stupid, fault.

At first it didn't seem like the two of them were going to come with him. Mooph didn't seem happy either, so he kinda started to sink down with his ears pressed against his skull. This change in attitude lasted only until the Lucain started following him though. The moment the pup saw even the slightest movement in his direction he popped back up with his tail thrashing about violently behind him.

Though Nandi was right in assuming that Runt could not talk, he could understand the two of them perfectly. Or well... As perfectly as a puppy could. He heard people talk often, but it was never too clear how much of the conversation actually got through to him, since he didn't always listen to commands he was given. Most of it probably just boiled down to his attention span, which was obviously lacking.

Tail still flopping about, the pup bounced over to Nandi now that she was much more his size and gave her a small, playful nudge. He wasn't quite so rough as he had often been though. Maybe he was starting to learn that people didn't expect such strength from one so young. Or maybe he was hoping that by being more gentle with his playmate he would get in good with her father and be able to see the two of them again?
