Travel to Nowhere

Xygaare scurried silently through the low brush and bushes.  Traveling alone, as always, he went on his way, hoping not to bump into anyone else.  It felt good to be on his own at his own pace, going in no particular direction.  However, if a bush asked him if it felt good he would have don the following:
A. have fun destroying the bush and any inhabatant therein
B. scream "No!" for even the people in the next door galaxy to hear
C. and travel the rest of his way in peace with all other bushes dying of fear in his wake.
Even though he kind of hoped he could have a reason to kill a bush, right now, they kept him hidden from anyone who might disrupt his peace.

The rainforest. Joy upon joys. So moist and full of bugs that bit and itched and... The yonyuu walked, a droop in his wings and his ears pinned back. Why was he here?
He heard something, though. Softly scuttleing, and smaller than him, but not tiny by any means. "Hello?" He called, politeness in his voice. Sounding polite was always safe to start. If you sounded polite when first met, not even the meanest were likely to attack you. Then you could adjust to the one who would be their friend with that newfound saftey. "Who's there, may I ask?"
You may call, you may call
But the little black cats won't hear you.
The little black cats are maddened
By the bright green light of the moon;
They are whirling and running and hiding,
They are wild who were once so confiding,
They are crazed when the moon is riding
You will not catch the kittens soon.
They care not for saucers of milk,
They think not of pillows of silk;
Your softest, crooningest call
Is less than the buzzing of flies.
They are seeing more than you see,
They are hearing more than you hear,
And out of the darkness they peer.
With a goblin light in their eyes!

He cam to a stop as he heard a voice call to someone.  Was it calling to him?  He couldn't tell.  If so silent wasn't good enough, he would have to do something else to be stealthy.  He went looping around where he had heard the voice in the nightly darkness.  staying just out of sight so as to not be seen, and being so quiet he didn't even think so he might might not make a noise audible to the newcomerwhen he had finished the motion he saw the newcomer.  He decided to keep his silence, in the end.

No more noise was heard. Darn, he probably scared it off. So be it, every little critter wasn't needed anyways. So the yonyuu moved to carry on his way. But he would have to keep alert. Something was there, that was for sure. Perhaps it was dangerous. Perhaps it could be an ally, too.

He watched as the newcomer trudged onwards.  He kept up with him to keep a lookout on himso he could not be trouble.  this newcomer didn't seem to want to fight.  Darn.  Xygaare did, that was for sure.  He rustled a bush on purpose then went away as quickly and quietly as he could.  He was testing the newcomer's reactions now, to see if he could get a fight out of him yet.

A bush movied beside him and Kole whirled to face it. His stance was ready for something to jump out and try at 'em, a cocky smirk on his face. "Who's there? I know you're hiding!"

Not so polite after all are we, Xygaare thought mischeveously. yet still he held his silence waiting for the yonyuu to decide it was just the wind.  He was thinking of other ways to trick this newcomer, but couldn't think of any.

The yonyuu growled and shook it off. But the stranger was still here somewhere. So he was to stay alert and wait for true incounter. "Little trickster," He mumbled, "You have me where you want me, now introduce yourself already."

A voice came from a direction and then was gone. Ooh. This guy was good. But there was only so much hiding one could do. "Ha ha, funny, funny my  friend. But something tells me your not actually the coward that this hiding  hints at you being. So come out, come out."

He did.  He finally came out to face the yonyuu.  Anger filld his eyes.
"I hate poets," he said.
He did.  He always had.  And this even if accidental poetryreaked havock in his emotion chip.  He had, however been much angrier before...  poetry was one of the minor angers he had.

"Poetry? Who ever said I was speaking such nonsence?" He sighed, though, for it was probably true. Old habits die hard and he could be quite the poet if he wanted to. Or if he didn't appearantly. "I'm sorry if that annoyed you, friend. Do forgive?"

forgive...  That was no way to start a fight...  He wasn't sure.  The yonyuu looked more fierce than he let on for sure, but the newcomer would not fight a stranger, it seemed.
He was confused for sure.  This was the whole point.  The yonyuu was trying to confuse him.  However he had a backup plan.  Yes, it was made on the spot.  He would meet the yonyuu half way.
"Perhaps not forgive," He said with a smirk. "But maybelet by, if I see you again, I may have to hold it against you, poet."

"Ah, so be it. But why are you leaving so soon, friend? Whats the rush?" So he wasn't liking being known as poet. What ever. At least he was making progress in the direction he wanted with this odd bug. Perhaps it could be kept up?

As soon as he heard the word friend exit the others lips, his stinger raised menacingly,
"I'd not be calling me 'friend' if we are not friends if I were you," he grumbled.  "And we are not friends."
