"Woahwoah!" The wind stopped abruptly over a leafy green canopy, leaving Ilex to drift gently down into the top of a large tree. Where was he now?

It was hot and stuffy here, and Ilex didn't think he'd ever seen so many tall trees back home. "Hey," he squeaked. "Are there any Leefs here?"

Well, it might be hot, but it was nice and sunny up here in the top of the tree. Ilex closed his eyes, soaking up the energy from the sunlight. Soon he was nice and full.

Ilex fell back on the branch he'd landed on. He let out a small, satisfied burp. It seemed he was too full to move!

As he lay there, he thought he heard something. Listening closely, he heard it again. A crunching sound was coming from inside the branch he was resting on!

Ilex leaned in close to listen. It sounded even louder from here. Before he had a chance to figure out what it was, the wind gusted in and carried him away again!
