"Hush, Ky," Freezair said. And Kyhorlet wasn't in a position to protest--Freezair's feet were dangerously close to her sensitive sides. "I think we should do as they say. Which would you rather do? Fight through these hoards just to get to the Library? Or back off and make some new friends?"

"I guess you're right," Kyhorlet sighed.

Rocket spoke up for them.

"My Moonling friends, we respect your duty to your library and will agree not to tread there. We are sorry for encroaching on your territory."

"We'll find someplace else to do our research," Rorygon added.

"And we're very, very sorry."

he shudderd as the moonling crawled off him and went into his pocket.
Orion squeeked, eyes wide open as dinner plates. "..L-leon! " He lay perfectly still, untill the moonling finally went out.
Leon sighed. " Library? why the library? .. Is there a guest room too?" He joked.

"Probably not. It's probably just the Moonlings and the books, if there are any left.

"...I wonder who thought to build it here?" Freezair mused. "It's a rotten place for books, to be sure. Warm, damp, and humid. That's like putting a sign on your door that says, 'Free food for mold! Come on in!"

"Maybe it's not a real library," Kayneena said. "Maybe it's more of a metaphorical thing."

"Well, if it's not a real library, then our moony little buddies have nothing to worry about, anyway. There's nothing for us there."

"What do you think a 'library' would be a metaphor, though?"

"Perhaps," thought Rocket, "it is the knowledge of the Moonlings themselves, and not words written on paper, that makes it a kind of library."

He scratched his chin a bit, and then smacked his own cheek.
"..damned 'skeeters are coming out .. -__-;" He flicked what remained of the bug off the palm of his hand.
"Yeah, that could be a possibility...didn't you say something about some advanced civilization or some crap like that? Maybe they don't use books.. Maybe it's like a computer chip that they could plug in to some holocron thing!"
"...Or maybe that's just your imagination running wild.." Nami shook her head lightly.
" yeah.. Leon you watch way to much starwars movies.." Orion grinned.
"Hey! those movies are classics!!"
By this time Orion laughed loudly.  " Yeah, But! this is real life! this isn't a movie!" Orion purred.

The moonlings listened to the thoughts of the two groups, or at least they seemed to be listening. The one who didn't speak English was clearly acting about listening. The other though seemed amused.

"Ish a library," The one spoke to the group, "Scrolls, papers... But, eets protected. Powerful curses yesss?" he winked, "But not for you. Ish for people, when they return," Well wasn't he the delusional one? Thinking that those people would return to their library? They'd been wiped out long ago.
