"God ****ing damn it!!" Along with other colorful words to say. This was censord, then Leon's mouth would sound like the machines used to monitor your heart beat.

Eventually Leon fell off Mit. and onto his back.

The swarm of moonlings continued over Leon up until the snicky was kicked off. They rushed down all at once, converging on the snicky. Now that they were in their ethereal form the tough shell was no problem. That poor helpless creature. Had it whined...? Naw, snails can't whine... can they?

The two moonlings chattered among one another, watching the others attack the snicky. The one who seemed to have taken the lead pointed to the rollaby, gnashing sharp teeth. Then the two started cackling viciously, "Is... Good," the other said. The English was broken and heavily accented. They'd only just bothered to travel so far from their library home, only a few having picked up any sort of language.

(What's this? They can speak? Well, they KINDA' can... ^__^;; hee hee, good luck. -ninja poofs- )

[Freezair]

"Eeeeew!" Kayneena said. She hissed, reptilian, and backed off.

"Now, now, Kay. You can't forget the circle of life," Rocket said sagely. "Does it taste very good, my little friends? I hope so. Escargo is considered a great delicacy among humans."

"Do they really think of him as a friend?" Kyhorlet whispered to FReezair.

"Dunno, but Rorygon's looking a little green."

he blinked as he watched the moonlings have an' evening snack.
"..poor thing.. even though it did give me a lap dance i'll never forget.."
He dusted off his pants as he stood up.
"Awww..." Orion frowned.

[Freezair]

"Oh, that was REAL sophisticated," Freezair said off to the side.

Rorygon picked a large, fat grub off the side of the tree and laid it as an offering to the Moonlings. "Errr... here... I guess..."

Rocket knocked it away with his tail.

"What was that for? He was trying to be nice to your little 'friends,'" Kayneena said.

"Did you not see the colors? That grub was surely poisonous. Here, Rory. Try to give them that one."

Rorygon shrugged and picked up the bug Rocket indicated. He laid it out for the Moonlings.

"Think it'll work?" Ky whispered to her load.

"..Feeding them now? Im not sure they'll trust you enough. But i donno; try it. Just make sure they don't bite off your hands or anything." He observed the bug.

Orion sniffed the bug carefully.
"..well.. if they like snickies.." Orion went back to the safety of Leon's coat pocket.
"..See if we can be friend with them.."

[Freezair]

"See?" Freezair offered. "We might not have to fight them after all."

Kyhorlet and Kayneena looked on warily. Rorygon and Rocket seemed happily expectant.

The group of moonlings who had jumped on the snicky all floated away, leaving the empty shell of the hapless creature.

The other two kept near the ones who were offering food. The leader took the bug and inspected it carefully, knowing better than these people what was edible. There was no need to inspect it, but why would they give him food? He slurped down the wriggling thing; hopefully nobody here had a weak stomach.

All in all though he seemed pleased with the gift, "Was good," he stated, "What you... do here?"

As the leader questioned Freezair's two curious pets the other went over to inspect Leon and his crew. He tugged at his hair and made a few clicking noises. Obviously this one didn't speak English.

( Well they seem to have warmed up, and the group they were with has left for home, strange for sure. =3;; But you're getting someplace with them! ^O^ Poor Snicky... -huggles his shell and gets stabbed- Xox )

[Freezair]

Freezair answered the "loquatious" leader for herself.

"Well, we were going to our friend Leon's house. But we were hoping to find the library. Don't you live there?"

"Are you sure it's wise to say that, Freez? They might not like us if we--"

Kyhorlet dribbled off, listening to Rorygon try to chat with the Moonlings. "I'm glad you liked it. I was hoping you would."

"Perhaps, if you do not mind, we could see your library. But if you wouldn't be alright with that, we don't mind."

"See, I think Rocket's going about it well," Freezair whispered. Then, apropos of nothing, she said, "Hey, Ky, aren't your legs getting sore?"

Kayneena picked up another bug, identical to the one Rocket had suggested. She tried to hand it to the Moonlings.

He froze as the moonling tugged at his hair. O.O;;
"If i don't move; maybe they can't see me!"
Orion peeked his head out from Leon's pocket.
"That's from jurrassic park! That's just a Movie!"
Nami hid under Leon's coat as well; while Mit. could only lower her head and sniff at the moonlings carefully.

[Freezair]

"If you live here, haven't you met them before, Leon?"

"Maybe he's never come this way before."

"Or maybe since we're strange and unfamiliar, they came to see us."

"Perhaps it was my inherent darkness that drew them."

"I bet we're dangerously too close to the library!"

"This is getting kind of exciting!"

He looked over to Freezairs team, trying to answer one question after another; but getting cut off by someone else..
"uuh.."-"w-"-"Thats-"-"May-"-"'cause-" ... Leon slumped.

[Freezair]

"Are... you OK, Leon?"

"I think he's just overwhelemed. We're all talking to him at once, after all," Ky posed.

Kayneena, Rocket, and Rorygon all kept one eye firmly on the Moonlings. Did they have anything to do with this?

Lets see here now. Hmm hmm hmm... What to do. Give you the moonlings or no...? I dunno about QUEENY because she's being IMPATIENT! -makes some faces- We'll see... )

The one that was tugging at Leons hair looked down curiously at Orion. He floated down now in it's most ghost form and floated around his head. He licked pleased and then slipped into the pocket too and became solid. He clicked to the leader and he nodded, then he turned to those that were so intently at him.

"We stay with you... But NO go to Library. Must protect," he nodded.

Well he'd offered a compromise. You stay away from the library and we'll stay with you. So what did you want to have more? The knowledge of an old (and fairly advanced) civilization or a Moonling? Who knows what the moonlings will be able to tell you... maybe a whole lot or maybe they will know nothing at all.

(This deal extends to both party's of course. =3 Well I could have been meaner, could have been nicer. Oooh well. -poofs- )
