Likaro laughed and started to go after Zip. He chased playfully after him and reached out to tag him but missed. He laughed again and lounged forward, this time just barely managing to graze him with his paw. "You're it now!" He happily wagged his tails and scampered away trying to stay out of Zip's reach. he was having the most fun he had had in a long time.

Zip quickly turned on one paw, obviously used to tight turns, and raced after Likaro, his tongue lolling out of his mouth. Eventually, and forgetting to pull back his sharp claws, Zip swiped for Likaro a bit harder than what he should have, aiming to catch him on his haunch, and he skittered to a halt, obviously trying to regain his breath, his tongue hanging from his maw and his tail wagged furiously. "I-I-I give..." He panted heavily, laying on his side, wheezing happily.

Likaro yelped and skidded to a stop. He looked down and saw a few claw marks on his thigh. He whimpered softly and laid down to look at it closer. It stung more than anything and wasn't bleeding badly so he shouldn't be too bad off. He looked up at Zip and put on a brave smile. "I'll be alright, I just need to rest a little and then I'll go back to the village around here and get medical attention."

Zip whimpered slightly out of panic, ignoring, or just not understanding what he said and he padded over quietly, placing one paw on Likaro's side, as if to hold him still, and he lay down beside him, trying to get himself comfortable, shifting his bony haunch into a more comfortable position, his tail flicking as his ears lay back and he slowly sniffed around Likaro's wound, being careful not to touch it. "Let me help." Zip mumbled gently as he then outstretched his tongue, obviously wanting to clean Likaro's wound.

Likaro jumped up and backed away. "No! Don't do that! You'll get sick!" He felt panic rise up inside him. He didn't want Zip to end up like him taking medicine everyday and praying that you would never catch even the common cold for fear that it could kill you. "Sorry dear, just please don't touch my blood and especially don't lick it. You'll get sick dear."

Zip's brow furrowed slightly as he approached Likaro again. "I don't care." He said forcefully, shaking his head, but he then paused his steps, and sat down, obviously thinking. "What kind of sick are you? Nana Parri says that Akkia is Head-sick, and that Mama Shy is Soul-sick, is it like that?" He asked softly, tilting his head and flattening out his ears, obviously not understanding the finer points of medicine. "Nana Parri says that I only get body-sick, but I might be a little head-sick, because of what happened before I came home." He murmured softly, his tail flicking slightly as he pondered.

The forests of the Tengal hid many mysteries, many of which had lain undisturbed for centuries. Like all great jungles, ruins and forests the simple fact that no one but simple animals had stepped foot in or over such mysteries, and therefore they had remained hidden until someone came and found them. The Golden Star nestled in the soil was one such mystery.

The rambunctious game of tag that the two canines had undertaken had, the Kirund’s claws had not only marked the Lucain’s hide but also the soft earth. Not too far from where the pair were looking at the hurt Lucain, a shimmer of gold glinted through the soil.

"I'm body sick dear." He smiled gently and rested there for a bit. "You catch what I have if you lick my blood, and I don't want you to get what I have." He reached out and patted Zip gently. "I'll be fine soon. I promise." He stretched slightly and stood up a bit shakily. "I could use your help getting to the village though." He hoped Zip would agree and not try to clean him again.

Zip nodded slowly and gently, shifting himself slightly, he shifted into his human form, his red mane had shifted into shorter, but still fluffed up, his long-sleeved flannel shirt covering his black t-shirt, his old and grubby jeans covering some of his old skate shoes. Slowly, he bent to scoop up the small golden star, and he dropped it in his pocket, looking back over at Likaro with a slight glint of worry in his eyes, his face drawn as his lanky body knelt beside him, leaning over him a slight.

Likaro smiled and sifted as well. His light blond hair difted over his right eye. He wore a light short sleeve shirt and nice jeans. He tried to get up but fell back on his butt. He smiled up at Zip and tried to gently wraps his arms around his shoulders to pull himself up. "Sorry for this Zip."

Zip simply smiled gently, slowly standing, wrapping a lanky, and somewhat thin arm around Likaro's waist, attempting to help him stand. When Likaro apoligised, Zip simply shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry about it, I help Freyja when she gets body-ill too. But you have to be careful with your leg." He spoke forcefully, his brow furrowing as he helped Likaro to his feet. When he had almost pulled Likaro to his feet forcefully, Zip kept a tight hold around him, his brow furrowing slightly as he looked down at Likaro's legs, watching for any differences in how he walked. He had been around animals to know that a difference in step isn't good.

Likaro held onto Zip and steadied himself slowly. He nodded at what Zip said and tried to take a step but stumbled slightly before falling back against Zip. "I don't think I'll be walking soon." He chuckled a bit nervously and looked up at Zip. He didn't want to make Zip carry him but he seemed to have no choice. "I hate to bother you dear but I think I need carried."

Zip simply gave him an understanding smile and a slow nod. Slowly, he bent down and with a heavy grunt, he picked Likaro up. Obviously unused to physical labor, Zip staggered a slight, trying to find his balance as he held Likaro as he would his bride. His brow furrowed slightly as he exerted physical effort. His jaw clenched and his lips pressed into a hard line, slowly peeling back to reveal his white teeth. Slowly, he began to walk forward, his shoulders hunched slightly as he leaned forward, using some of Likaro's off-putting weight to give him momentum to move forward, his pace picking up into a jog, his brow still furrowed and his red eyes hard with focus.

Likaro held onto Zip and buried his face into his shoulder. "I'm sorry for being such a burden Zip." He meant it too. He didn't want to be so much trouble for him. He stayed as still as possible and hoped they would get to where ever they were going soon.

Grunting lowly in reply, Zip began to pant as he jogged, dodging between trees and hopping over roots, trying to keep the travel as smooth as possible. His breaths jarred from between his teeth and from his nostrils, his brow furrowed as his red hair began to fall into his face, a light sheen of sweat breaking out across his forehead. "I'm sorry I hurt you..." He murmured gently, trying to keep his attention on what was in front of him.
