Ashaelyn was not used to waking up in the morning and having fog so think she couldn't see out her window. for most of her life she lived in the forests of Lambastia, a place of warm summers and cold winters. in the rainforest things were drastically different not only the environment and the weather that followed, but in culture and experience, and all of the new dangers that threatened the wild tangles of the rainforest. this place was constantly to hot, and the water was so thick in the air shae was convinced no one would ever have thirst. though she would never admit it in fear of insulting her new friends she missed the cool embrace of snow, and the way it sparkled when the moon hit it. at first the thought of living in an eternal summer had been one of the only things that shae had looked forward to. now that she had lived in the pack for a few years she knew that seasons were around for a reason. while there was spring, summer, fall, and winter in the rainforest, the leaves didn't change color, and no snow graced the forest floor. where the hot forest lacked snow, it made up for in rain, and thunderstorms. every winter the packs village flooded, though it had little effect on the houses it did cause for a few months of left overs from the summer hunting.
