I'm a fast learner. she said, snuggling up to him. It feels wierd... I have something growing inside of me. she said, placing her hand over his. She was already lightly showing. It's not normal for me to show already She thought, slightly nervous. She was worried about how half demons would grow..

[Lunasa]

I can see that. His smile grew slightly wider. I can imagine... HIs voice was light. He was slightly worried, though. Rumor of half-breeds abounded in the demon realms, and they were never good. He fervently hoped this would end well. He didn't want to lose either of them. That thought changed everything. Really? The slightest edge of worry tinged his voice.

Kaya shook her head. No, it normally takes three months or so to show at all.. I'm already starting to show a little at.. what... she thought, not being able to remembe rthe precise timing.. at least a day.. She bit her lip and hid her face in the crook of his arm, fear bubbling in her mind. What if she didn't make it?

[Lunasa]

Komek pulled her closer. The fear bubbling in her mind tinged his own thoughts. Everything will be fine. I will make sure of that. The words rang with authority. He would not lose either of them, not if he could help it. And he could do quite alot to help it. He smiled down at her, his eyes reassuring. At least, he wanted them to be. Sunlight slanted into the room, giving everything a honey warmth. It was a nice effect. Komek wondered what everyone else was doing. He didn't trust Sora to leave them alone. Kovu and Kalla he wasn't so worried about.

Kaya smiled, hugging onto him tightly. I do hope so... she thought, looking out the window. "I don't know when we should leave." She said, her voice rough from not being used. She cringed as another wave of breakfast smell hit her. "I don't feel well.." She said softly, looking at the window. She wondered if she could get to it... fresh air would be nice right about now..

[Lunasa]

Komek sighed, looking out the window. It would be nice to go outside. His nose wrinkled as the smell of Sora's cooking wafted up the stairs. How could something edible smell like that? Was it even edible? He didn't want to consider it, actually. Same here... Then, an idea popped to mind. Smiling slyly, he scooped up Kaya and started towards the door. The link worked both ways, and he knew that Kaya wanted to be in the frech air. Well, Komek was happy to oblige.

Kaya smiled and held onto Komek, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Have an idea?" She asked, teasing him lightly. She burried her nose in his chest, keeping out the disgusting smells of breakfast. Normally it wasn't /so/ bad that she couldn't take it.

[Lunasa]

Of course I have an idea. Treading lightly, he came to the stairs. He just had to get past Sora. Shouldn't be hard, he thought sarcastically. With his luck, Sora would catch them just as they got out the door. He shrugged slightly. They would never know until they tried it. Besides, it was a beautiful day. It would be a shame not to try. What was the worst Sora could do, anyway?

Kaya giggled. "Ok, I trust you.." She whispered softly, looking downstairs. Sora was preoccupied lecturing Kovu about the evil of demons. "I think it's safe." She whispered, holding onto Komek tighter, she was nervous about this. She didn't want to confront Sora this early in the morning.

[Lunasa]

Komek nodded, starting down the stairs. Soon, he was within earshot of Sora and Kovu's converstaion. Or rather, Sora's lecture to Kovu. Unbidden, a chuckle rose in the back of his throat. He quickly bit it back, hoping that she hadn't noticed. What if she knew? Irony always showed up in the strangest places. Of course, that was the defintion of irony. With another shrug, he continued down the stairs. Sora looked pretty involved, and he doubted that she would notice them.

Kaya stiffened when Sora turned to face them. "Ew, Kaya.. Your getting fat" She said, lip raised in a half sneer. Kaya buried her face in Komek's chest, sending the image of her strangling Sora to his head. Kovu looked at Kaya, a questioning look easy to see, even though Kay's face was smashed into Komek's chest as Sora critisized her wieght, hair, hieght, and smell.

[Lunasa]

His good mood shattered like a glass vase. Komek glanced skyward, wondering what sort of deity decided this sort of thing was funny. And whoever it was, he'd better watch out. Turning back to Sora, he narrowed his eyes, hissing barely loud enough to be heard. He did not want to have to deal with Sora. She was really beginning to get on his nerves. Leave her alone. His voice was stern, a note of annoyance coloring it. The thought sent through the link brightened his mood slightly.

Sora snorted. "Maybe she wouldn't be so fat if you'd let her walk." She criticized, eyes darting from Komek to Kaya, who was still hidden in his chest. Lets just leave..

Sora crossed her arms. "I swear, this girl is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I can't believe she came out of something ase gorgeous as me." She said, smiling at her own compliment. Kaya felt like she was choking in the fog of her perfume, lightly clawing Komek's chest, hoping he'd get the picture.

[Lunasa]

Komek sighed, glaring at Sora. That woman grated against his nerves more than Shexlin did. That was quite the accomplishment. And to think she had been allowed near children. I agree. Without a word, he started towards the door. Just before stepping out into the sunshine, he said one thing. Careful what you say about demons. You never know when one is listening. Then he stepped outside.

The air was warm and the scent of plants was in the air. A smile spread across his face. This is why he wanted to come here. His realm had never quite captured the quality of life that this world, or some other worlds, had. Glancing down at Kaya, his smile grew wider. This was shaping up to be a good day.

Sora snorted and returned to her lecture. Stupid man.

Kaya was half asleep against Komek's chest. She was so tired now, but her dreams were just as vivid as real life. She was dreaming that, of course, she was with Komek. She shifted slightly in his arms, her dream self started to kiss him softly, her real self responding with a smile
