"Parts of it used to be." she said, looking around. The branches were getting thinner, soon she'd have to start traveling closer to the ground. "Is it really magnificent? Do you think we'll find a friend for you there?" she wished she could see it, but soon enough she'd be inside it altogether. She wondered if the game of twenty questions would end before they got there. If not, they'd just have to keep going on in the temple... Was there a moonling in there? It would probably be fun persuading it to come along, that's all she knew.

"Is it colorful?" She asked as she clambered down through the branches. She was going too fast and a couple branches snapped but she able to hang on. "It's awesome. So cool. I bet something is hiding in there. Come on, we're soooooo close." Calli started climbing down from the tree. She hopped from the last branch onto the ground and sat, waiting for Kiana. Her front paws shifted from one to the other. She was so anxious to keep going and finally get there. Excitement kept her moving as she imagined what her moonling friend would be like and what they would do together. She hoped Vandol would get along with it when he got back. he was alive somewhere. She knew. She could tell. Kiana might not think so but Kiana didn't know what she knew. He wasn't dead. He wasn't.

He was awake? No, he couldn't be awake. Only Eshe could wake him up now, according to her. But apparently he was sitting up in the cavern. He looked around, wanting answers, and got them from the big black furry shape laying next to him. He jumped back, but then realized his body was breathing. He wasn't dead. Yet. So what the heck had happened? He looked down at his paws and saw the ground. Well, he could see their outline and color. They just didn't look solid. That just freaked him out more. Eshe hadn't said anything about this. She hadn't said anything about that drink either. But he was literally having an out-of-body experience. He thought she might've at least mentioned something. But maybe she didn't know what was happening. Maybe his soul was free to do what it wished without her leash around his neck. That sounded good. Freedom in the spirit world.
