(Ssssh. Ssshhhh. There are totally Purine Choopas. Totally. Shhhhhh. Just join her.)
The festival was in full swing, but how many people visited their booth? Next to none. Why stop by an army's booth and sign up to maybe be thrown in to war some day when you could run around enjoying yourself instead? Sure, they'd gotten a few new recruits coming through, but it almost wasn't worth the time for her to waste away in her opinion. Eventually, her skull crashed down upon the desk and she let out an exasperated sigh. "No mooooore," she cried out, face rolling back and forth against the desk and feet kicking the inside. She'd seemed rather collected when there are potential new members around, but perhaps the final straw had snapped and she could take no more.
Drawing in a deep breath, the pale woman sat back up and started looking around. "Alright. There's got to be something I can leave the desk for for just like... five minutes or something, right? Surely no one would show up in those five minutes and I could bring back something with me to keep me busy."
