(Pulling out to take Hollow[temporaryname] farther on the quest for his permanent name.)

The whispers continued and seemed to grow louder with every step he took. The others moved ahead of him with no qualms or problems, but it seemed he was the only twitchy one. He was never twitchy, so this became a real problem to him. The whispers in his head turned to shouts and screams. This place.. he wasn't meant to be there. He would return again, maybe, to conquer this issue. He growled, a low vibrating sound that seemed to travel forever, even through The Shadows. He shook his head and stopped. Suddenly a soft whisper shined through the ever increasing shouts. The voice calmed him and told him he neee to be somewhere. It sounded like Xa'Qaen. He was sure of it. You're needed elswheres Sans Everyone had a name for him, but he refused to accept those..
'Where am I needed?'
Just get out of the hole and come with me. I am waiting for you outside.

"I apologize, but I am needed elsewhere. Good luck and safe journies to you all."
Without waiting for their responses, he turned and raced back the way they came from. He almost the hole they entered through because of The Shadows hovering just above him. He squeezed through and found the Xing Yun waiting for him.
"Hey there Xa'Quaen."
"Hey. We have to go, Akida has sent us somewhere. She says we shall learn a great deal of useful information. So let's go."
The large creature launched himself into the sky followed very closely by the red baubles that always followed him. The hollowheart followed suit and followed the Xing Yun's lead. Only he knew where they were going.

Shatter turned her head to look at the others. "Hm, well, the shadow fox is on our side, and yes, it's going to Jaden. As for the mouse, it seems to have appointed itself to be our messenger. A very annoying one at that. Now buzz off shadey." she spoke the last bit to the mouse and after giving her an insulted hiss, it scurried off. "Aeria's not far ahead. So are the Dark Shadows. They are the ones to fight. If the light goes through the shadows, then you don't have a problem because they're on our side. If they seem like a black solid that the light doesn't touch...you've found the enemy. They also tend to be more dangerous animal shapes." she said to them, filling them in on the stuff she thought they'd need to know. She froze for a moment as she heard a distant snarl. "Aeria." she whispered, and resumed walking.

"Exactly what are we going to do if we meet an enemy?" Neong?°z asked loudly. "Fight them? Are they shadows or something? How can you defeat a shadow?"
"Was that snarl Aeria's or some shadow creature?" she asked. "Can the shadows make any sound?"
Why did I even enter the dirty tunnel? she asked herself. And now I can't even get back!
Neong?°z was hopeless at directions. Of course, even if she did know the way, she'd insist one of the others go with her, which of course they wouldn't. So there was no point in asking. Yet, that meant her only option was to follow them. Some she'd detest, she was sure. Why had she even ventured into that alley anyway? It had caused her no end of trouble. And know she was venturing into a dark, dirty, unknown tunnel, searching for someone she didn't know, helping a bunch of strangers, and being surrounded by some weird shadow things. Great. None of the others seemed to worry about how they would get back or what they would do if they met a shadow creature. Only her. Great.
