She gasped.
Freda was silent for a moment, digesting what she had heard.
"What a horrible thing," she murmured.
She looked at Gnoll with concerned eyes, wings shifting with discomfort.
Suddenly, her mood brightened.
"What of this," she said, "You travel with me, be in little bits of my shows, I'll think up something for you to do. And I'll remind you of all the things you need to remember."
Freda nodded, liking her idea.
"We'll travel all over the place. Perhaps all you need is a bit of fresh air!" she exclaimed joyfully.
Blinking, she cocked her head at him, and nudged the now nicely temperatured pizza.
"Eat up, then decide. No good decisions can be made wtih an empty stomach."

Gnoll looked down at the pizza, and took another slice. He thought about what Freda had said, and wondered if it would be a good idea. He thought about what his owner would say. Owner? Why was he thinking that? Did he have an owner? If so, where ae they at this time? Maybe he didn't have one? he couldn't remember, and the last time he tried, he got burnt by pizza. He just shook his head to stop him from thinking and swollowed the slice whole.

He looked up to Freda and seemed to think for a moment. Then, clearing his mouth of pizza, said: "Yes, I will go with you. I may even remember my past if something familiar comes." He said, trying to smile again.

Freda smiled.
"Oh, what fun we'll have!" she said gleefully.
Nodding she continued as they ate, "Once we finish up here, we'll go the Festival Square and grab some ice cream on the way."
Grabbing the last slice of pizza, she stood and stretched.
Humming, Freda skipped to the door of the resturaunt.
Oh, what a great day, she thought.
It was in a way.
She now had a companion. Someone who didn't know of her shameful past.
She had lunch at the best resturaunt around, her cheography was finally finished.
What could be better?

Gnoll smiled as he saw how happy Freda was. Seeing that she had finished the pizza, he followed after her. He looked at all the other people running around. The streets seemed packed, but it wasn't to confusing. His mind was slightly busy as he walked. Freda had said something about getting ice cream? What was this ice cream she had said? He would soon find out, until then, he tried remembering what might have happened to him.

Freda led Gnoll down the roads, weaving though creatures of all types.
They stopped in a few minutes at a ice cream stall.
"This is ice cream," she announced to Gnoll.
Glancing at him, she thought she should explain.
"Ice cream, like pizza, has many flavours. There's vanilla, the most popular, chocolate, strawberry, mint, caramel, coffee, green tea, mango, orange, butterscortch, cream milk, raspberry..." she rattled off many more flavours.
Afraid she might bore him out, Freda stoped and said, "Well... it's delicious."
Leaning in to the cart, she looked at the flavours available and pointed to a white creamy looking flavour.
"Tiramisu please!"
Blinking at Gnoll she said, "I guess I'll chose something for you."
She cocked her head and said, "And a mango also please."
Freda dug into her purse and droped a few keystones into the stall keeper's paws.
Taking Gnoll and her cone, she led him to the side of the road, and sat down.
She handed him the ice cream and started to lick her already melting one.
It was a hot day and the cool ice cream was a blessing.

Gnoll sat there, holding his cone, and seemed to just stare at it for a moment. He then looked over to Freda and observed what she was doing, and copied it. The ice cream was refreshing and tangy. He could feel it tavel to his stomack. Each lick was a new exsperiance to him. He just couldn't stop, lick after lick. Soon he had gotten to the cone, and just by instinct, started to munch on it. As he worked his way to the bottom of the cone, he wondered how he had known the start eating the cone. Then just shook it off as he licked his fingers and lips.

Freda licked her cone thoughtfully.
Slowly, another idea came to her.
"You know... if I get you a costume, I can teach you a few steps. Then you can dance around the audience, collecting coins," she began, now munching on her cone.
"Oh yes... I think it might just work," she said as she stood and looked up at the sky.
"I think we have a hour more before the crowd starts gathering. Stand, I'll teach you some moves, maybe we may put them to use."
Slowly, she led Gnoll through some simple twirls and skips, using her arms to exaggerate the whole thing.
With unfailing patience, she made sure he remembered everything perfectly before she moved on.
Perhaps if his brain doesn't remember, his body will.

Gnoll watched as Freda took each move, and tried copying. He would occasionaly mess up and have to fix it. He was ok with helping her, he seemed to owe her since she seemed to comfort him in this time of need. He watched, and seemed to get most of it right off the bat. He stopped to catch his breath, and to see how he was doing. "How was that?" He asked, looking slightly exhausted at Freda.

Freda raised her eyebrows.
"How were you? I'd say you did quite well, yes," she was smiling from ear to ear as she said this.
"I rarely had such a talented student!" she gasped,"I was thinking perhaps you took lessons of a sort before. It seems as if your body does remember things from your past."
Reaching into her pack, she took out a few keystones.
"Since we're traveling and working together, I'll need to pay you for your services," Freda said as she handed the keystones to him.
"It's not much, but I think it'll last if you spend it wisely," she said, though her thoughts were obviously far away again.
Shaking herself out of her trancelike state, she smoothed out her ruffled dress and walked down the street.
"We'll go and pick out an outfit for you, then you can have your chance of displaying your skills," she said as she led them into a shop.

Racks and racks of colourful cloth was displayed all across the walls.
The room was made cosily, decorations everywhere.
Though it was a busy place, it was obvious that it was well maintained.
No one was left twiddling their thumbs or just standing there.
All sets of hands were needed, though there was not too much work to prevent them all from gossiping to each other.
Freda walked up the counter and smiled.
She was obviously a old customer.
Motioning to Gnoll, keystones clinked from Freda's hand to the lady at the counter's.
The lady quickly measured Gnoll up and walked around the room, offering Gnoll and Freda cloths for inspection.

Gnoll watched as the lady weaved around with fabrics. He was slightly confused as he watched it all. "Why must I wear clothes?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. This would be his first time wearing clothes, of the first time from where he can remember. He just didn't feel right, and kinda didn't want to wear clothes.

Freda blinked and was quiet for a moment.
"It appears flashy, more eye catching," she said as she inspected a beautiful lilac cloth.
Turning to Gnoll, she saw that he didn't really like the idea.
"If you would rather, we could just get some little shiney bells and wear those as a bracelet," she said, glancing at him. "That is a better idea than getting you clothes, I think."
"Hmm...." she mused turning back to the cloth. "This thing is really beautiful, such nice quality too..."
"I'll take it. I need a new costume anyway," she said and waved cheerily to the assistant.
"I suspect you have my measurments already."
The assistant nodded.

Gnoll relaxed and watched everything that was happeneing. He nodded to what Freda had said. "Also I could just wear a tunic?" He asked Freda. Thinking of different things he might be able to wear if she wanted him to wear something. He looked at all the different fabrics, but none seemed to interest him. Until he came to a pale green one that caught his eyes, or eye sockets I should say. He touched it to find it to be a thin fabric, which air could pass freely through it. A perfect material fro a tunic. He then looked around again and found a pale yellow that would work perfect for triming. He held up the two fabrics to Freda. "how about these fabrics for a nice tunic?" He asked, the design forming in his mind.

Freda touched each of the fabrics hummed in pleasure.
"These are great. I think the colours will look great together," she said as she indecated to the assistant that they would have those too.
"When would you like to come and get these? They're be done during the night," the assistant said.
"Ah, in that case, I think early tomorrow morning, if that's convient."
"Very good." the assistant nodded.

Humming, Freda led them across the street to her rooms in a small appartment.
She leaned under the bed and started to throw things out.
Handing Gnoll a hat decorated with little bells and pieces of glass, she mumbbled, head still under the bed, "That'll be what you can catch the coins in."
When she finally backed out, she was holding a box, intricately decorated with carvings of Sygriffs flying.
She looked sadly at it for a moment, caught in memories.
After a minute, she opened it and took out a silver bracelet made of bells that jingled softly when shook.
She handed it solemnly to Gnoll.

[center]Gnoll looked at the hat, he took a liking to it quickly.
He jingled it as he Freda seemed to still be diggin under the bed.
He then looked up to see her handing a braclet to him.
He saw the gloomy expression on her face.
He looked back to her and seemed to push the braclet away from him.
"If it means that much to you, then I will not take it."
He said to her solemnly.
