(In this RP, Maya and Kiren have not yet grown)

In the large city of Lamenolai, a particular building seemed to stand out. It was bright and obviously new, standing out compared to its stone neighbors. This building was quite modern, made mostly of glass with white walls and frames. In fact, it looked like it belonged in Medicai rather than here. A large sign at the top and a smaller one above the door revealed it to be Summers Inc. At the large glass sliding doors, two children bickered about entering while a security guard looked on, baffled.
"Come on! I wanna see it! Pleaaaaase?"
"No! We don't have to be here, anywhere but here! As long as HE'S inside."
The girl stuck her tongue out at the boy and wheeled around, taking off into the lobby. Muttering bitterly, her brother followed.

A woman behind the desk immediately scuttled out and stopped the two.
"Oh, hello dears, children aren't allowed here~ What is it you want?" she cooed, bending over to talk to them. Maya smiled up at her.
"We're here to see our daddy!" chirped Maya. The woman looked at her a bit oddly, then shook her head vigorously as if she were trying to knock something out of it.
"I'm sorry, sweetie, but our boss doesn't let children in here. Tell you what, why don't you leave a message with me and I'll see that your father gets it."
Behind Maya, Kiren scoffed and rolled his eyes, looking around the room instead. Maya just looked up at the woman with wide, surprised eyes.
"But lady, I thought daddy was the boss." The woman gave her another odd look and smiled.
"Oh, no sweetie, Mr. Summersplash is the boss." Maya's face got even more confused.
"Then why can't we come in?" she asked, tilting her head. The woman spluttered in confusion and promptly tried to explain it to the child.

After a while of confusion, Kiren stepped forward to clear things up, but Maya had just then realized what was going on. She burst into bubbly laughter.
"Oh, lady! You think my daddy works for "Mr. Summersplash"? Noooooo, my daddy is "Mr. Summersplash"!"
The woman proceeded to laugh dryly.
"Oh, sure, you think your father is-" she cut herself off, looking between the kids, who stared at her.
"Your father is the boss!?" she exclaimed in surprise, causing most of the room to look over their way and the sound level in the room suddenly peaked with all the chatter. The woman herself looked...pale.
You can pretend that when you hear my voice, darling, it's your choice not to fall in.

But it's all an act, 'cause I know exactly what you're wanting. You know it's what I'm wanting

Boy I know what you desire, oh, you're such a bad, bad liar

This could be perfection, or venom dripping in your mouth

Singing like a Siren, love me while your wrists are bound

"W-well, come on in then, young Miss...and you as well, young Master." The secretary suddenly became quite obedient, looking at the children as if they were gods in kid bodies. Well, most people who knew their father probably would do the same.
"In fact, might I escort you up to his office?" she asked, inclining her head. Maya nodded and smiled brightly. Kiren just grumbled.

Promptly, the lady spun on her heels and marched off to the elevators at the back of the lobby. She moved so quickly, the children had to jog to keep up. Once there, she immediately began fussing about the number of people crowding the area.
"Oh no, no! This won't do. You young ones need not be stuffed into an elevator! And if anyone dares to make you wait...!?"
Maya exchanged an amused glance with a not-so-amused Kiren.
"It's okay lady," she cooed to the woman, then turned to the crowd, "Hey everyone, can me and my brother and this lady go first? I wanna see my daddy!" The sea of faces turned to her. Those who had overheard the earlier commotion wasted no time all but diving out of their way. Everyone else cooed and murmured about how cute she was and what a shame it'd be not to let her have her way. One or two just stared blankly. In the end, when the elevator doors opened, not a single person moved to get on with the trio.
In the elevator, Kiren turned to the lady and worriedly waved a hand in front of her now somewhat blank face.
"She's acting kind of funny. I think we were a little much."
"What'd ya mean? I think she's fine. I mean, she kinda seems like a weird lady anyway...but was there something else? Oh wow, look at those numbers go. Did you know that daddy's building has 50 floors? That's alot of floors. I wonder why the 50 button needs a key though..." the girl chattered. Kiren rolled his eyes and glared at her. Giving one last glance to the lady, he poked floor 49 and hit door close before it could open on the 10th.
"It needs a key 'cause it's probably the man's office or something."
"You should really call daddy your daddy."
"Shut up and count the floors. See if you can tell how fast we're going, why don't you?"
That did the job.
You can pretend that when you hear my voice, darling, it's your choice not to fall in.

But it's all an act, 'cause I know exactly what you're wanting. You know it's what I'm wanting

When the elevator finally reached the 49th floor, Maya bounced a little and clapped, eager for the door to open. Before they could open the whole way, Maya shot out, pausing only to look around the rather busy office. Spotting bright red hair in the distance, she squealed, zipping over there faster than anyone could even register that there was a child here. Kiren followed at a slower pace, pausing to grab the receptionist, who was now staring blankly ahead of her with a goofy smile on her face, by the wrist.

Now within clear sight of her father, Maya sprinted to him, using a nearby chair as a boost to jump on him. Splash had noticed her just a moment before and just managed to catch his energetic daughter before she could knock him over. The official looking men and women around him gaped at the child. As did pretty much everyone on the floor. Splash on the other hand, didn't look all that pleased. He waited for Kiren to make his way over before clearing his throat in expectation of an explanation. Glaring up at his father, Kiren scowled.
"You know Maya, there was no changing her mind. Why else would I be within 5 miles of you if I could help it?" he snarled, earning a sharp glare from Splash and a pout from Maya. The people around them recognized the feeling radiating off of Splash and expertly repositioned themselves at a safer distance.

"Come on, Daddy. Don't be mad. I just wanted to see where you work..." Maya whimpered, tucking her small frame into her father. With a sigh and a roll of his eyes, Splash patted Maya's back.
"Next time, tell me first," he consented, somewhat reluctantly. Maya sat back, suddenly perked up as if nothing had happened to upset her in the first place. As he put her down, his workers edged forward, sensing that they were no longer in any imminent danger.
"By the way," Kiren muttered, holding up the receptionist's wrist, which he still held, "I think we broke your secretary."

Splash sighed and ran his hand through his hair, a habit not even he would have imagined himself getting into. You know, before he became a father. Taking Maya's hand, he gestured one of his employees towards the secretary. Frankly, he wasn't surprised. He made it mandatory that all employees had to be capable of coming within 5 feet of him without being affected, but even the strongest people couldn't handle 2 kids with strong powers that they couldn't control. Poor woman would probably need a shrink after this, if not hospitalization. Fortunately, he had a small team prepped to deal with people who...broke.

Turning to the remaining members of the board, he stood tall.
"Remember, end of the day. Or else." He looked each in the eye as he spoke, making sure they got the message clearly. He was somewhat ticked after that last meeting...did he have to do everything himself? Turning, he headed back to the elevator with Maya as Kiren followed behind. Once inside, he dropped Maya's hand and pulled out a key stuck on a band around his wrist. After a moment, they were rising to the 50th floor, but no one said a word. When the doors opened, a woman stepped forward.
"I'm not to be disturbed, June," he muttered to her as he headed straight for the large double doors. Behind him, June only seemed mildly surprised at the children's presence.
