Shade's eyes widened at the beam of energy that was released from Grand's mouth, blasting away most of the doorway. "My, that will not clean up easily," she murmured humorously. Glancing back at the dragon following them, she supressed a shiver. I've got a bad feeling about him, she thought to herself, the Chernoybl's green aura reflecting off her blue eyes. She hurried past Grand and zipped out the door, nodding awkwardly to the surprised-looking shop keeper. When she got out into the open, it was nearly dark out. "We'd better be careful," Shade said. "It's not safe out here at night."

" Relax. Two hollowhearts and the worlds biggest nuclear flashlight are pretty intimidating to humans. " Grand said. " Were is that glorified glow stick at anyway? "  Grand said, looking over his shoulder. " You have got to be kidding me. " Gojira was stuck in the exit. " Okay, you try being me. I was young when I first got trapped in there. " Gojira said. His glow intensified, and soon, the bricks surrounding the exit started to melt away. Soon, Gojira was free. " And I am not a glorified glow stick Goldy locks. " Gojira taunted.

Shade chuckled. "All fitting nicknames," she teased, regarding the 'glorified glowstick' and 'Goldy-locks' comments. She sighed. I suppose this guy's nice enough, Shade thought, studying the Chernoybl. Sure is creepy-looking, though. She sniffed the air slightly. "I wonder what Snickies smell like," she mused, her blue eyes studdying everthing that moved. "Salty, maybe?"

" I dunno. Never smelt one. " Grand said. Gojira shook his head. The glow from Gojira's body was reflecting off Grand's scales again, casting an orangish light on the surrounding buildings. The inhabitants were beginning to stir inside. A few opened their windows, saw the dragons. and shut their windows, screaming in terror.

Shade snickered both at Grand's comment and the civilians' screams. "It's not like we're causing a disturbance," she growled, rubbing her head with a claw. Glancing around, she noticed there was a half-eaten box of nachos lying in the corner of an alley. "Hey," she mused, looking back at her friends. "Maybe we could use this stuff as bait! We could put it in several places, all of which we could moniter somehow." She picked up the nachos, grimicing at the squelching sound it made as one of her claws sunk into the melted cheese. "Yuck," she hissed. "Where should we put these things?"

" Next to that dumpster. " Grand pointed at a dumpster near them. Gojira Watched a young boy run from him,screaming. He chuckled. The humans here were afraid of everything.

Shade nodded, grabbing a hunk of nachos with her mouth and placing them at the corner of the nearest dumpster. "I'll be rinsing my mouth out for months," she growled, grabbing another mouthful and placing it right on top of the other. She jumped as a little boy screamed at the sight of Gojira. Snorting in annoyance, she turned back to Grand. "Where next?"

' We could check the toxic lake. They might be there. " Grand said. He pointed to an area with a large green cloud looming above it. Gojira seemed to perk up at the word " Toxic. "

Shade nodded. "Sounds like a good idea," she mused, looking in the direction of the ominous green lake. "Let's get to it!" The huge Hollowheart stretched her wings far in each direction, and propelled herself upward in one giant leap. "Catch me if you can!" she yelled back. "And grab those nachos!" There was no way she'd go back and get them. She sort of hovered there in mid-air, waiting for her companions. "Hurry up, slowpokes!"

Gojira grabbed the nachos with one of his front legs after much protest. grand flew straight up like a rockt, nearly hitting Shade. Gojira took a few moments to get off the ground. Grand took off twords the lake so fast he appeared only as a golden blur. Gojira flew considerably slower.

Shade grunted in annoyance as Grand nearly hit her in mid-flight. "That wouldn't have turned out well if we'd collided," she growled. Prefering not to have any accidents, Shade decided to hang back with Gojira. Once they were above the green pool of acid, Shade did a nose dive until her hindlegs found the concrete surrouding the pool. "So this is the place," she murmured, avoiding a splash of the liquid green ooze as it bubbled. "Are you sure a Snicky would be hiding here?"

" Maybe. I heard they are really resilliant creatures. " Grand said. Gojira put down the nachos and dove right into the pool of acid. his snake tail rose first, then the rest of his body. Grand watched the large dragon swim and play in the pool of acid. One thing was for sure: that Chernobyl was strange.

Shade brought her wing up to shield herself from the splash of acid caused by the huge dragon. This is getting us nowhere... Shade thought in annoyance, looking around. "I'm going to scout out the edges of the pool. Make sure you keep an eye on those nachos!" she said, flapping her wings once and shooting into the sky. Her blue eyes darted around as she circled the pool very slowly. She gently drifted down so that she wouldn't step in any acid, then landed right at the edge, stumbling a bit. Her foot barely missed a puddle of oozing green acid as she whipped her head around to examine something on the ground. It appeared to be a small hole, but it was just large enough to fit her head in. Carefully Shade eased her head into the hole, her bright eyes giving off enough light to see. "I wonder if there are any traces of a Snicky down here..." she thought to herself. "Or maybe even an actual one! Nah, that's a bit unlikely."

Gojira continued to swim around and laugh. Grand sat down in front of the nachos and watched intently. He only moved when he blinked. The larger dragon watched Shade from the pool. " So what's driving you to find a Snikey? " he asked her. His snake tail squirmed under the surface.

Shade heard Gojira's voice and jerked her head out of the hole, causing dirt to go in her nostrils and eyes. She spat in annoyance, running a claw over the bridge of her nose to brush some dirt off. "My owner wants one," Shade grumbled, blinking more dirt from her eyes. "Plus, I think they're sort of cute," she said, her tone lightening. "Don't you think so, too?"

(Gah. Short post, but my muse is a bit dead. D:)
