Zur kept his eyes on the Draculi, only leaving his glowing blue form to glance around the alley-way they were located in. They reached the opening, and paused, the crowds in front of them rushing around like traffic. Suddenly, without warning, Kaj Kat darted away, into the rush, leaving Zur's eyesight.
Relief flooded through him. He was finally away from the Fellox, finally free. All he had to do now was find the right direction, follow it, and go home... But the people around him turned him in circle,[ dizzied him, and by the time he managed to get to the other side of the street he had no idea which way to go. He wasn't even sure if he was on the same street anymore.
Meanwhile, Zur was panicking. "Kaj Kat?" he called out. Part of him was furious, another part of him was worried about what Wolfie would say, and another part of him was worried that the vampire cat would actually get harmed. That wasn't likely, though. In the time that Zur had known him, he had a reputation of being one of the luckiest people living at Wolfie's cave- in an uncanny sort of way.
Kaj Kat glanced around at his surroundings- behind him was yet another alley way, this one more barren than the last one he was in. There were a couple trashcans, a few doorways leading to apartments, and then just dust, everywhere. He swallowed, turned back to the street, still swarming with other people, and took a deep breath, trying to slow his racing heart.
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where, Going no where
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, No expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, No tomorrow
And I find I kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very, very
Mad world
