Sageeth smiled, a cold, calculating expression that held absolutely no warmth or compassion. "We shall see."
And I shall see if I truely have the strength to fight an actual battle. Training was one thing; this was something new.
The blue Lucain growled, his fur standing on end, as Kinasha prepared to attack. The thrill of an imminent fight roared through him, and Sageeth had to fight to keep himself under control and actually remember battle moves.
He braced himself to meet her charge, then dodged to the side at the last second, hoping to score his claws on her side as she passed by.

Kinasha winced slightly as she somehow, despite the fact that Sageeth had attempted to move out of the way of her attack.  However, she was not left completely unscathed from her attack; she could feel his wingblades do some damage on her.  She stood there for a few moments, her eyes wide in shock.

...do not get ahead of yourself... still more race to be done... she told herself as she took in a deep breath and circled him nonchalantly, waiting for the opportune moment to attack.

How on earth...?
Sageeth tumbled to the ground in a flurry of legs and fur, as Kinasha's claws and teeth connected. he was shocked at how much it actually hurt, she'd hit hard. Well, at least his wingblades had managed to do some damage.

Alright, he thought to himself. This is it. All or nothing.
With a roar of fury and power, Sageeth charged at Kinasha, his claws and teeth ready to attack. He was taking a lot of chances with this shot; if it landed, it would help greatly, but if not, he could be close to defeated.

Well, that does not do at all, Kinasha thought to herself as she felt Sageeth make contact with her and felt her attempt at an attack miss.  However, she could tell--by however thin of a margin--she still had a chance to win this.  However, that chance was slim... she might not die hard on the track, but this was not the track; this was a battle arena.

Give it all you have, Kina, she told herself as she glared Sageeth down, her fur bristling slightly.  We rebounded from an injury that should have ended our career.  We can reover from one little scratch in battle... compared to what I went through?  This is nothing!

As she thought the word "nothing," she began to dart around in a zigzag fashion, having become a little more used to her Lucain form now.  Her plan was to throw Sageeth off by darting around as quickly and widely as possible before leaping to attack from behind.

Hah!
Sageeth felt like shouting in triumph as he felt his claws make contact. It had worked!
Then he felt a kind of stab in his side and realized that her wingblades had still hurt him. Now that was not good. She hadn't exactly made contact, but...
Sageeth realized he was almost out of energy. If he didn't finish this soon, she was going to finish him. He growled, trying to pinpoint where his opponent.
At least we don't die in these things.
With another growl he lunged forward, hoping to cut off the other Lucain's zigzag pattern. He had weakened Kinasha too-- he was a deft opportunist, he'd be able to make his move now.

Kinasha takes 4 damage from Sageeth's Deft Opportunist due to falling beneath 6 Endurance.

As Kinasha is left at 0 Endurance, she loses before she is able to attack. Silversky's Sageeth won the third round.

A small sigh escaped the announcer's lips as she witnessed the end of the third battle. Well, she couldn't expect every single battle to last an extended amount of time since these guys (and girls) were all amateur fighters at best. Some of them were doing good for their own skill level at least, so maybe at least the last fight would provide her a bit of fun. At this rate she felt as though some day she might have to join the action herself to see a good fight.

"Well," she started out, standing in the center of the rink with one hand on her hip. "Looks like the battles have been progressing relatively fast. We appear to be ready for the fourth round now, so I need Forza Del Male and Tierra to step up and prepare to fight."

But she'd downed some pills, and stood here today under her own volition. Her body lashed in all of its glory; her coppery armor gleamed along with her rosy fur. She was like a burnished decoration, but nowhere near as delicate. She was fierce, she was angry, and she was toxic.

No matter what came her way, she was going to tear it to shreds.

While he was waiting to rumble, Forza had been growing increasingly impatient. These other combatants were taking too long. He wanted blood already, dang it!

Finally, it was time. Forza heard the announcer call his name. In two seconds, he tore out of the arena, hastily shapeshifting from his human form to a form that had the head, dorsal fin, and spines of his werebetta form, but was otherwise human. It was time to rip, tear, kill.

Full of battle frenzy, Forza pulled his head back and roared triumphantly to the sky.

Forza took a few moments to size up his foe. This creature didn't look all that tough, metal covering aside. Plus, it was slightly smaller than he was. It'd be no match for his brute strength.

With a snort, he began the fight by charging forwards and aiming a fist at the underside of Tierra's jaw, with the ultimate goal of hitting her with a powerful uppercut. If it didn't smash her jaw in, it'd at least make her bite attacks weaker. Plus, it'd hurt like heck. Heh, this fight was getting off to a good start.

Tierra moved as fleetly as she could. They were both pretty fast--he was, maybe, just a little bit faster, but they were both adroid. She build up a powerful virulence in the pit of her throat, letting the second system of tubes in her body accumulate the chemical. With a growl as bitter as the chemical, she Spat Poison at her foe. The toxin was strong enough to be absorbed through the skin. Hopefully, it would powerfully weaken her opponent.

Forza could only smile with delight as his blow connected with Tierra. His first battle was also starting to get really easy. At the same time, he wasn't really paying much attention to what his enemy was doing. Had she tried to attack? He didn't know, as he didn't feel anything that felt like an attack.

Regardless, he kept fighting onwards. The werebetta decided to follow up with his uppercut with a direct punch. He was hoping he would be able to pull off a few fancy fighting maneuvers, but this approach probably would work better.
