The slums are a rundown, old heap of a town tucked deep in the jungles, with townsfolk consisting mostly of poachers, black marketeers, thieves, and fugitives. While the ideal tourist spot, some travel to the Slums to make use of the black markets. (+2 Defense, +2 Speed)

Debts and Dilemmas [Self] M- D,L,V

Half an hour after dusk had taken hold of the world, and those who ruled the night had since come out to roam for whatever they sought; a single figure wandered into the edge of the town, a figure badly out of place in such an environment. Kindra was all too aware of the eyes turning towards her as she walked, passing the dilapidated building and run down shakes these people called home. Even the air had a sense of foreboding in it with each musty breath she took, this had always been one of those places on her "areas to avoid" list, but in truth that was the past. Outside her mind this dark world turned, eyes stared at the icy woman passing though the dusty streets which glared with all her might back at them. This was looking up to be a very long night, and likely not a pleasant one either; something that made Kindra's glare deepen to that of a vicious beast in a woman's skin. The last decent person she'd asked had informed her that the Bog Wyrm tavern was located in this vile place, somewhere on the western edge. If memory served her well she was a handful of turns away from the tavern, but then she'd always tried to forget the last time she'd ventured here.

It was a slow night, really slow in fact considering it was a Friday night. Blue found himself bored and watching the street outside the tavern for a good fight. Instead he was currently being pestered by a couple of punks who'd caused trouble two nights prior and his temper wasn't on their side, he'd already tossed them when Roxy had started yelling at the one for grabbing her arm. At that second one of the two was in the process of challenging him, something that excited the beast inside him. Unfortunately for him he could hear Roxy near the door talking, probably to either Kinsa or possibly Lila, meaning if he intended to kill the pair before him he'd have to drag them around the building. "Hey Lila" He called over the door, catching sight of the other bouncer at the card table. "Take the door for me, eh? Got some business to take care of." His voice rolled like thunder into the open room of tavern's main bar room. Over the noise of the metal music and voices from within he heard her boots hit the floor in response, which was all he needed before thumbing to the men to go around the north side of the building, away from the eyes of their patrons and virgin eyed bar maid.

Bottles smashed, I raised my hand
How can you all even stand?
And why is there joy in this poison? Oh
Faking smiles and confidence
Driving miles to capture this excitement
I can't take anymore

You're never gonna get it
I'm a hazard to myself
I'll break it to you easy
This is hell, this is hell
You're looking and whispering
You think I'm someone else
This is hell, yes
I am in hell

It didn't take a second invitation for the men to follow behind the werewolf, sealing their fates with each step. The beast inside Blue smiled at their ignorance and his own good fortune, it was a rare occurrence that Adi was either away from the tavern, or allowed this sort of behavior; but after their harassment of Roxy Adi had given him the signal to get rid of them, and then cranked up Bat Country on the taverns speakers to cover their screams. Blue allowed the men to go ahead of him while he unleashed the beast within himself, rage and blood lust overtaking his senses and locking away the man. The only external sign of this complete transformation was the shift of color in his eyes from ice blue to bright purple, and his teeth having become jagged and sharp in his mouth. He cracked his knuckles and rolled back his shoulders once before following them, his joints aching with anticipation for the coming battle. Amazingly he wasn't disappointed in these two, just as he rounded the north side of the building both rushed him. One attempting to knock him to the ground while the other threw his fist towards Blue's jaw, neither aware that he'd expected this. Without effort Blue grabbed the man's fist just after it had connected with his jaw, something more like a flick than the a hit. He couldn't help the dark smile that showed his teeth to the pair, with a small amount of his own strength he crushed the man's fist in his own reveling in the cries of pain which erupted from the man's throat while his friend slammed Blue's body. Two hundred and ten pounds of weight barely even caught Blue's attention, but it had and was enough to annoy the werewolf. Twisting his arm he pulled the first to himself by his crushed hand, pupils constricted to pin points as he brought the man's arm along side his face and twisted his head and sank his teeth into the flesh of the under arm. He then released the first man who crumpled in shock cupping his wounded arm, covering the exposed bone with his other hand. One of his meals disabled allowed Blue to focus on the other man who conveniently had wrapped himself around the werewolf's waist at that moment, at any other time Blue might have made a remark but now all that came from his throat was a deep, hungry growl. With inhuman reflexes he brought his arms up, and interlocking his fingers slammed his fist down on the man's back. If the music from inside hadn't echoed off the surrounding buildings and rolled out into the streets like an invisible fog, one might have heard the sickening crack of bones in the man's spine as Blue slammed his full weight, far more than his apparent one hundred ninety pounds, down upon the man's back driving him almost a quarter inch into the hardened dirt side street. It was enough to stop any movement from the second man, likely he was killed by the blow, but Blue didn't care. Running on instinct he crouched next to the body and took a rather unsightly bite out of the back of the man's head, and sat back on the ball of his feet chewing the flesh and hair mix.

After walking, getting lost, and glaring her hardest at the residence of this place for an entire twenty minutes the destination of this deranged adventure in insanity came into view from the wrong side. Kindra became aware of the reason for having gotten lost in that she was coming from north and not east, but after almost seven days of travel it was an excusable error to make. The building which the tavern occupied was a frightful thing, looming over most of the others in the area. Adrianna Wolfric, to her credit, had built an establishment of both pleasure and fear Kindra noted as she eyed the building. The entire tavern, main bar, dance floors, VIP room, all were housed within a wooden dragon structure. From her place on the north side of the building she could see the tail of the wyrm, iron and steel spines climbing up along what would have been the back of the mighty creature had it still been living. Built around the bones of a long deceased Primal paragon of considerable size brought up from the depths of Hel as a partial payment to Adi for her service to the goddess. Gazing at the tavern, Kindra felt as uneasy as she ever had. Half forgotten memories swam through her head accompanied by the nausea and permanent chill in her bones invoked by the mere sight of the building, surprisingly not because of it's origins but because she knew too much about the activities of it's patrons. After several shutters Kindra finally managed to repress the memories once more and swallowed the lump that had formed in the seconds she'd stood studying the building. Gathering herself once and for all Kindra made her way towards the wooden tail, in steady strides wishing Kinsa had pick any other place to take up residence than this.
She was so wrapped up in how she was going to tell Kinsa that she had to move somewhere else that she didn't notice the shadows on the side of the tail, what she couldn't miss was the unmistakable stench of blood thick in the air around her. Something the pounding pulse of music from within the tavern couldn't mask, Kindra's stomach rolled once violently making her thankful she'd not eaten for hours. Her good fortune wasn't meant to last however as a man came staggering at her clutching his bleeding arm to his chest. His lips where moving, but over the music she couldn't make out what was being side, nor did she care. Before she could react and either hurry passed the man or turn the other way, a blur of shadow burst from the right side of the wyrm's tail, knocking the man to the ground. Kindra would forever be the first to tell anyone that she was no battle hardened soldier, her whole world had been structured around the gathering and relaying of information on whatever target she'd been assigned. So the fact that the man before her was being torn to shreds right before her eyes was enough to send Kindra into flight mode, and without looking at the bloodied man who was making a snack of the other she bolted for the left side of the tavern. Not the wisest decision she could have made, as both the motion of running and the pounding of her blood mixing with her fear was enough to distract Blue from his meal.

Blue's head snapped up as he heard the woman's footsteps pounding across the unpaved alleyway, the fast pace of her heart thundering in her chest. Still deep in the grips of his bloodlust, the smell of her fear played across his nose like a delicate perfume. His current meal forgotten at the mouth of the northern alley, Blue swung around onto his hind legs with an unnatural surreal grace and gave chase to his newest victim. Some part of his brain screamed at him that the woman ahead of him was a friend, but it was quickly ignored in favor of a more tender snack. That was until she rounded the wyrm's massive hind foot heading to the tavern's side door, then it became a matter of protecting his "pack" and territory. Tearing across the dusty ground after the woman took on a whole new frantic pace, as he closed in on her.

Kindra was truly terrified by this point, sure in her line of work she knew this kind of a place and the horrors which lurked within it; but this was the first time she'd been witness to this level of horror or someone being eaten alive. Now that thing was after her, it almost made her wish for her old life back, the one where the worst she'd had to fear was a perverted client waiting in the hotel room. Amazingly she didn't realize she was running, nor did she take notice of the wooden wyrm foot until long after she'd passed it by. She was forced to take notice of the side door however, as she crashed into the locked metal blast door near the belly of the wyrm, that beast closing in fast on her. Panic, terror, and a need to survive gripped Kindra when she couldn't find a handle to open the door by. Now cornered she pounded frantically at the metal, screaming at the door with a mix of fear and frustration. In the seconds between her third knock and her fist closing for a fourth the mass of metal creaked forwards with a loud protest, and in the doorway stood a small frame of the Wyrm's second bouncer, Lila; who looked for all the world confused. Her expression wasn't something Kindra stopped to process, nor were her words; as Kindra crashed through the half demon and sprawled on the floor of the second dance floor, clawing her way to a hiding place behind the DJ booth where she took refuge while Lila did something about the monster.

Lila stood in the doorway a second longer, having been pushed aside by a crazed female who didn't seem to understand the whole concept of not open it seemed. With a deep sigh she didn't bother to turn and face the woman, "Look, lady. This floor ain't open tonight, I said. Your gonna either have ta go into the main bar or leave." When no response other than a muffled sound of either pain or fear echoed back to her, Lila turned to look for the woman while she pushed shut the blast door. The devil woman realized a half second too late that the woman wasn't there to dance, when Blue slammed the blast door with all his might. Causing Lila to jerk her head around to him with a deeply demonic growl, that was until she looked at him. A sight which would have both disturbed and possibly shattered any normal person's rational mind greeted her in the mad form of her co-worker. Instead it just annoyed her, enough that with similarly inhuman reflexes she reached out and slapped the snarling man with half her force. "Xai're be damned Blue!" She yelled over his protested whines. "Get a grip you mange screwed mutt!" She smacked him a second time, this time with a fair bit more force as the were was knocked back on his heels from the blow. She waited for a few moments until she was sure Blue'd gotten control over his feral side before she shook her head. "You stick worse than the fifth circle, for Zu'hai's sake. Get and clean up before Adi sees you, cuz if she does I'mma let her skin your useless crap ass for this." She could feel her lip curl into a sneering snarl she was famous for, but there would be time to kick the pup's fur hide around the room after she found the woman he'd attacked. With Blue's final whines silenced by the closed blast door Lila turned back to face the empty room, and confronted the fact that she was not a people person for the thirty-eighth time that night when she began hunting under tables for this chick.

Kindra had taken the opportunity given to her by the other bouncer who was busy arguing with Blue, a thought that unnerved Kindra more but she didn't plan to stick around and see how it turned out. With the pair distracted she carefully crept into the side bathroom in the hallway with the intent to straighten herself up and stop shaking, instead she bushed passed the door silently before crumpling to the floor in a shivering heap of frayed nerves and a case of jelly legs. "That had to be the worst I've survived." She mumbled to herself, absently admiring how clean the floors were kept here. She was partly though the thought of asking Adi what they used to get that real ocean scent on these types of tiles when the bathroom door swung open, crashing against her shaking knees. It wasn't enough to bring her fully around to the situation, or allow her to really see the person who'd entered the room, but it did get her to look up at the ceiling while she tried to regain her composure. She knew she was failing to do so miserably, but somehow this was all so surreal she didn't seem to care that much.

The night had slowed enough for Kresna to take her first break, and it never failed she had to freshen herself up a bit and reapply her make-up before she could disappear for a smoke. All a part of her seductive nature which kept the men buying drinks to try for her number and women for her secrets. It was looking up to be a normal night around the tavern, until the bathroom door hit something half way open. Figuring it was some drunk patron from the bar Kresna tried to cautiously slide passed the door and into the room to haul the patron back out. To her surprise when she finally had gotten her hips and breast through the shrunken entry way the body behind the door was no patron from the night but a familiar face none the less, a pleasant surprise indeed. "Kindra, dear, what are you doing down there?" And as if an after thought she added, "I didn't see you come in, how long have you been here?" Bright eyes looked Kindra over confused by what they saw sitting there, but Kresna crouched down so she was eye level with the other woman out of concern.
