Rings

Rings was searching. Searching for treasure. He hoped the treasure chest would be full of keystones. He searched near and far. Who would help him. Anybody? Nobody? He had to go. He walked into The Slums and tripped over a vine. "Who would actually live here?" Rings said helping himself up. Then he went to go find the treasure.

Three Gyrraptors, all of varying shades of red stood on one of the few large chunks of dry land in the muck of the Slums. Two of them chatted about their most recent escape, the smaller, a young Blood named Kiba, speaking hurredly while his brother, an overly large Imperial, mearly listened, commenting occasionally. The eldest brother, a Chaos, stood away from them a bit, his clawed hands picking apart rotting logs and overturning rocks.

It had been his idea to escape; it always was. He was definentally the leader of the small group, although he didn't take much interest in what the others were talking about. He had wanted to get a Snicky by himself for his owner but his brothers had pestered him into bringing them.

"Hey, Tsurugi!" called the youngest with a laugh. "You found one of those Snickers yet?"

"It's called a Snicky, for the last time," Tsurugi corrected, rolling his eyes. "How are we going to find something if you don't even know what it's called." Why was he related to these morons?

Rings sniffed the air. "Ugh, terrible smell!" He said covering his nose. He walked forward looking left. Then right. He stopped at a large branch  and crawled under it. "Hello?" He asked making sure nobody was there. He started  walking again. He dug his paw into mud. The treasure was here. But it wouldn't come out. Suddenly the mud hardened. "Help!!" Rings was hoping for an answer. "Help! My paw is stuck!" He tried pulling and digging, but it was no good. He was stuck.

The feathers on Tsurugi's frill bristeled at the sound of a cry. For a theif, he could be awefully heroic. He darted off in the direction of the voice, hoping that it wasn't some sort of bandit trick.

Tsuki and Kiba stared after their brother for a moment. "Where do ya think he's run off to?" Kiba asked, slightly perplexed. Tsuki simply shrugged. The middle brother rarely spoke, so this was a typical responce. "Let's go. Maybe there'll be a fight!" The Imperial perked up at the word "fight." His favorite hobby. The brothers set off in persuit of the third, given that they don't get lost.

Rings kept pulling. "Help! My paw is stuck in dirt!" Rings shouted again. His paw was on the treasure long enough for him to realize it wasn't the treasure. "This isn't the treasure.. It's a skull," Rings said to himself "Eww! Help help!"
Rings kept screaming and shouting. His tried his best to keep his paw off the nasty skull. "Anybody? Who am I kidding, no one is here." Ring laid down and tried to pull some more.

Tsurugi gave a slight laugh as the Ferricoon came into his view. "Well, well, well," he said, clicking his tounge against the roof of his mouth in a disappointed manner. "What have we here? A little lost pet out on a trek? This is a strange place to go hiking, my little friend. You could get hurt." He tried his best to keep the laugh that bubbled in his throat from his voice but failed, a slight chortle escaping with the words.

"Now what do we do?" Kiba asked with a sigh. His brother shrugged. They had managed to become hopelessly lost in this dank wilderness. "It all looks the same!"

Rings finally pulled his paw out of the dirt. "Oh, what do you know? Your just a
Gyrraptor!" Rings said angrily. He walked off hoping to find the treasure. But he stopped for a snack.

Rings decided he'd have a large piece of fruit. He ate it quickly. He decided that the treasure wasn't important at all and that he wanted to leave this disgusting place. He swiftly walked off toward the nearest path and headed on his way for a new, safer journey. "Good-bye, foul place!" He spat as he walked out of the Slums.
