She stared bleakly out at the landscape. Great. Here again. It had been bad enough the first time-she had met some quite friendly pets only to be nearly ripped to shreads by a deadly puma. She had barely escaped with her life and what did her owner say when she returned home? Go straight back!
Well, to be fair she hadn't said that exactly. First she had fussed over her scratches, pampering her like she was some pathetic dog. Then she had wanted to hear all about her travels (Very tiresome-Divo didn't care for idle chatter) About a week or so later Divo had heard her sighing about wanting a Snicky again. She had continued like that for several days until she finally made a plea to Divo.
"You've been before!" She had cried, "You were fine then!" And Divo, for some bizarre reason unknown even to herself, had decided that she would come back. And here she was.
Where was here exactly? All Divo could make out was a small alleyway. Rather dark and dingy, even for her. Trashcans on one side, mouldering pile of something rather disgusting on the other. Coiling herself up, she shifted her weight slightly, ignoring the faint (and slightly putrid) breeze that ruffled her mane. Oh yes, this was the life
